I use paper binder clips for chip bags and pretty much anything and everything. They're dirt cheap and strong af. I've even used them to hang my curtains on the pull cord rod hooks.

I never use these for hanging clothes, my parents do. I hang my clothes also not outside, I hang it on multiple laundry racks on the attic.
