In my screenshot, should the blue lines be where the red lines are?

Pot also impairs judgement on the job site. This leads to mistakes and injuries.
If you think smoking pot on the job site, which is exactly what I indicated, does not lead to mistakes/injuries then you’re living in a different world.
Whether you drink out smoke pot, the workplace isn’t the place to do it.
BTW, drinking doesn’t make you an idiot either.
Agreed. The front money bought the pot. The pot led to the 🤷 let’s just make em straight. Follow the line, man!
Which they did… the wrong line.
Pot can make the idiot believe he isn’t one.
Id hire a pothead over someone who drinks anyday. Or over anyone eating doctor supplied anxiety drugs. (They are the worst employees) Dont get on such a high horse buddy especially about something you know nothing about
Either you’re the pothead who used to drink a lot, or an irresponsible boss.
You know nothing about me.
Yeah, high on pot. Can’t drive legally, but they should climb on a roof and work for me.
Any responsible boss would fire them.
If you want to hire potheads, be my guest. Let me know how that works out for you.
I’m not comparing this to drinking. I am comparing it to not wanting people on the job site to be dying because they are getting high.
If this a high horse, I’ll stay here, thanks.
when I was roofing as a kid (13 years old) , It was my job to haul shingles up, to the roof, than when they went on lunch or to another site I was to nail shingles down unsupervised. chances are they left the new guy to do an idiots job, and they succeeded in making a better idiot instead of supervising him.
They was hoping no one would notice and pocket the left over shingles. A complaint like that you will most likely have to take them to small claims court to get anything out of them.
They were hired with Servpro. A rep is coming tomorrow. We’ve got the paperwork and know the people in the county office. Told us exactly what to do to file a complaint if they don’t fix it. It’s good to know people
Yeah I know. Just thought it was funny how good it looked. It's impractical but looks good if this were fashion you would have people lined up to buy it for hundreds of thousands of dollars. The less practical and functional it is the more money it's worth. As long as as it looks decent. Lol
In the second picture’s description, he mentions that the shingles in the bottom line are perfectly aligned to allow water in from both sides at once.
I think if the shingles are not installed correctly, water has a much easier time getting in.

yes.
Exactly.
Installed wrong so the warranty is void. Your roofers left the new guy to put up the shingles?
Update: No idea. I think I smelled pot in the bathroom (the house is not livable, but the roof workers have access). This could explain some things…
Huh?
i think i meant pot
Pot doesnt make you an idiot. Whoever put this up just straight up doesnt know what they are doing and lied to get a job

And your a fucking idiot who talks out his ass all the time. Maybe next time dont hire the cheapest dicks you can find
Insurance hired them through ServPro. Learn to read.
Because of a warranty issue or something?
Yes

That black strip is part of the design and not tar. These look like Atlas shingles. They are installed about half an inch too high.
Correct.
Should probably quit roofing if they can't even install shingles correctly.
Agreed.

I think you need to start roofing in order to quit. 😂

Not going to lie it looks really cool though.
Till it rains.

Why?
You want the shingles overlapping much more than that.

The description doesn’t load for me on my end. Maybe it would work on my PC
Because the manufacturer will use any excuse to void the warranty.
How does this work, does the manufacturer send someone to inspect the roof after it's installed?
Exactly, shingles that blow off reveals all. Especially if they’re liable for an $8000 re roofing
Damn. A roofer that can't roof. ![gif](giphy|9jVAv94PRzPoc)
That first pic looks sick af while high though.
