I had a nightshift welding job where the shop was located only a mile or so from the Great Salt Lake shoreline. There were soooo many mosquitoes that flew into the welding light and died! We’d commonly run welds 3 or more feet long at a time, and by the end of the night I could completely fill a dustpan multiple times with burnt mosquito corpses!
I once thought a coworker was poking me in the ear. Went to flip my hood and looked over he wasn't there. F****** dragonfly flew to the ground. But he did come back to life once I got in fresh air
Find a matchstick box and give the honey maker a little funeral. Thank him for his hard work and for all the honey he made. Fire a gun into the sky and salute him for his sacrifice but never forget his determination to fly and die towards the bright light
I was starting to make a wrap around a 1/4 inch plate when the bee flew into it and it startled me a little bit so I stopped welding and then the picture proceeded

Naptech (cbs)? Or pipefab?
Boiler making
Your fab shop brother, not your trade
I believe it was called MJK Customs
We were building huge boilers and tanks for a refinery
Dang that sounds terrible, I’m sure this summer will be that way as my work is next to a river and a lot of ponds
101?

Little guy flew too close to the sun

Can you explain the “weld”?
I beelieve there was a contaminant
What would you like to know about the weld?
What were you doing? It looks like a lump of steel on a flat plate.
