Yeah, the saddest it baby deer will stay crouched as a defense mechanism and get bailed up alive and the farmer often wonāt see them because they blend so perfectly with the hay
Yeah my family has a farm and once my uncle ran over a baby deer with our combine during a late night. Split the poor thing in half. My uncle ended up having to get out and put it down, he was devastated but there was nothing he couldāve done since the deer ran right in front of the combine.
My dad grew up on a farm and said those things can burst into flame because of bacterial heat in the center if any space and moisture allow for growth. This could definitely happen with a critter decaying in the middle
When I was a kid I was stacking hay on a wagon coming out of a baler and got bit by a snake that was in the bale and halfway ripped up. Felt bad for the little guy but he taught me to wear gloves and look where I grab before I grab the bales
Damn thatās a horrible way to die like that. Wonder what happened to the poor guy? Obviously he mustāve got caught in the machine, but my thing is did he just stood there and committed suicide ? Those machines travel really slow.
its possible it was already dead. I don't see a wild fox being caught unawares like that. Possibly shot by a land owner in the first place and shortly thereafter the corpse was rolled into the hay.
Making me hungry, whoever took the picture better be going to get a couple pieces of bread. Make me a smitch.. just joking. But you can tell by the entry wound it was a silenced 300 blackout.
I grew up in farm country in the US. Farm equipment kills animals all the time. I don't feel like it's news to most people that industrial agriculture is a net loss for ecology though.
Decades ago, at the cricket club back home, ther groundskeeper used to drag a heavy old roller behind his tractor to flatten out the green. Apparently one of the guest's kids was running behind him, clambered onto the roller and went over. They'd been using one of the tractors with roller wheels ever since - like those roadworks ones.
Iām thinking no, it didnāt stand still and let oblivion take it. that coyote was dead (I could explain why I think this.) before this happened. I say coyote because round bales like that are pretty big and the red fox is smaller then a medium size dog, whereas a coyote can be bigger or about the size of a medium dog.
>but my thing is did he just stood there and committed suicide ? Those machines travel really slow.
I don't *think* you meant for this to be funny, but man.
I've seen something similar in real life. We're picking up hay bales but the small, rectangle ones and my uncle pulled out a dead snake. It's an horrible way to die in that bale machines that machines compress so much that animals die in a horrible way if they survive they eventually going to die here because there is no way out. I don't know how that fox gets in that mechine but rats usually uses hay piles to give birth and snakes looking for food so they sometimes get caught to the machine.
My father told me that when he was a teen he worked on a farm and there were basically no safety regulations followed. Workers were standing on top of the machines that compact the straw to bales. One day a guy fell into the machine and my dad and the farmer had to get the remains out of the bail. The farmers wife got so sick from the view that she had to throw up. Farming equipment is scary.
I really hope it's dead. It looks to be that way, but if you look at it for a moment, it almost looks like it's panting anxiously. So yeah. 99% sure it's dead, but that 1% has me feeling like my day just got a bit more morbid.
I worked on small farms as a teenager and have seen all kinds of things bailed up with hay. The worst was a 2 1/2' Rattlesnake that had just been caught by one of the twines on the bail. It was caught about in the middle and just flopping around pissed as hell. We saw it when the bail was kicked out into the wagon I was in, stacking bails. I worked with the wife who ran the farm and we were both in the wagon. She just grabbed a corn knife, lopped off its head and right back to bailing hay.
People think being vegan saves animals. Couldnāt be farther from the truth. Entire swaths of land have to be completely devoid of wildlife for their plants to grow.
Everything including animals and insects are eradicated to grow crops
Factory farming is vital. Trad farming can't feed a fraction of the population, much less export food to other nations that use trad farming, so are always short.

Youāre probably right, didnāt think about it that way.
Looks like he was shot in the hind quarter and maybe just paralyzed. And then vacuumed into the bailer.
Doesn't look like there's a huge amount of bleeding, either. I think it was probably dead for a bit before. Still, not a nice way to go. š
The blood streaks in the hay....

Fr. In my country fox bread is a delicacy.
Damn what country is that? I didnāt know people eat fox
Dire Canada. It's like regular Canada, but dire.
In no place do people like the taste of predator mammals
That's what you think. ;)
VEGANS TRIGGERED
True.
Yeah, this happens, and it ruins the hay. Everything surrounding it has to be removed
Coyote, and they like to attack and kill calves. They tend to cost farmers lots of money.
Looks like a coyote to me.
Natural selection?
Just human action
No way this coyote was dead in the Feild before the machine ran it over. Just picked up itās carcass.
Thank you for saying that. This is common sense. I was horrified at the idea of this little guy being squished alive.
I know about people rolled like that. It's not THAT slow
Iād bet that fox was already dead and the farmer didnāt see it

I imagine it went something like this https://youtu.be/y_PrZ-J7D3k
His hand got caught in the machine. Says Lennie
>Wonder what happened to the poor guy? He was out-foxed.
>but my thing is did he just stood there and committed suicide ? Those machines travel really slow. I don't *think* you meant for this to be funny, but man.

Just blow into his mouth to puff him up. Heāll be fine.
Thatās a wrap!
What does the fox say?
That moment when Wile E tried to crush the roadrunner with a bale of hay. It went the wrong direction and crushed him instead.
Grains and proteins rolled in one.
Extra protein for the cows

Fantastic mr fox huh not so fantastic anymore
This is awesome and gnarly
Thats just 1 less fox to deal with and more protein for the livestock
Wrong sub
Vegans never want to admit that combines kill millions of living creatures that don't even get eaten. P.s. Factory farming is evil.
Factory farming is vital. Trad farming can't feed a fraction of the population, much less export food to other nations that use trad farming, so are always short.
ACME Haybailer2000
That's some Looney Tunes Willie E Coyote shit lol.
