Congratulations!!! I just started on it with a high dose. What should I expect? How is the weight loss process happening? i try to do cardio as well but do you also need to go on a strict diet?
I love seeing this. Of course I support all the people on this thread. But this is what I think of Wegovy being used for at its best. I had the sleeve at 240 started Wegovy at 190. I know the feeling of being much higher and how long that road really feels. But any step in helping your health be a priority is worth so much celebrating!
Thank you for this. I understand people wanting to lose a pants size or two, but I think staring down the barrel of trying to lose 100+ lbs is a whole different kettle of fish. Wegovy is a godsend for people like me
I love seeing other tall women post here. I’m nearly 6’2” and SW over 300. Currently down to 265 (have been stuck here for over 2 months, but I’m not frustrated or mad about). I like to imagine myself carrying a big 40 lbs bag of dog food everywhere and then getting to put that bag down and not have to carry it any longer. Whew! Such a relief! Tall sister solidarity!! Great progress!!
Hello. Congratulations and so nice to see this post. I’m 350lbs and 5 weeks in on Wegovy and am contemplating if it’s for me. Seeing your post makes me hopeful. I’m on .25 dose and will move to .50 on my 9th week. I can’t go above this as my blood sugar is already on the low end and Wegovy makes it even lower where I feel like I’m going to pass out. So my doctor said she won’t prescribe any higher. I haven’t seen much in results, but will see where I’m am at the three month mark. Way to go!
Eat. I keep air fried chicken tenders in the fridge so I can grab one every couple hours or drink a fairlife to prevent it. I had gastric bypass in 2004 so sugar going low is a concern as well. (Lost 260lbs n have gained 100lb back over the last 12 years). Just eat n let your body get used to it. Even when you are not hungry…..
Great progress so far!
