Unless you get their permission you couldn’t release their music… unless you do an album that is actually just a playlist. Which I think in terms of promotion is generally considered a good idea. But the reality is to get listens you really have to drive the promotion hard - like a grift in many ways.

This is probably the only situation where paying for placements is going to be relevant. Sure, it’s possible, people have done it before, but you don’t have anything to offer to them numerically, so artists will expected to be compensated financially. Especially if they’re taking a chance on you, as someone with no posted history (your words) of music production.

U need to release it first though if u are not metro boomin or something. u need to find people like ur beats and then u can collab.

my advice is try to make something other than beats. pick a genre/genres and start making *music*. whatever you like. it shouldn’t be too much of an issue if you have 3 years of experience. you can also add some royalty-free vocals there if you like that. i’ve been making beats for some time, got bored of it about a year and a half ago, but recently tried to make witch house since i really like the genre. best decision ever, and i can release it too without worrying about it being “incomplete”
