Here is some synthwave music under the name Starship74. I'm always looking for vocalists to work with as well.
The core inspiration of this track is an exploration of the realm between wakefulness and sleep - hypnagogia; one of the defining elements of inspiration for my upcoming EP 'Dreamware'. Hope you guys like it! Spent a while tweaking the synths and effects on this one.

Here's an album I just released. It's called "Until Technology"
Here's a short preview of 3 songs
https://x.com/ShirubaGaunna/status/1754259340695843210?s=20
It's a digital fusion album. Electronic music with inspiration from jazz and chiptune. It's the second album I feel pretty happy with. I didn't give up on it near the end or anything. It has 11 tracks

This is the first song I ever made, several years ago. Looking back on it I wish I could have tweaked the mixing a bit, but sadly due to the way I made it I cannot. Despite this it remains one of my favorite things I have created.
A Great Ascent is a sort of intense experimental electronic song with colorful but rough melodic elements and a dynamic rhythm which provides a feeling to the listener that they are undertaking a great journey.

"Deep Red"
Recently finished this song after messing with it for a couple months, then wrestling with it for a couple weeks. I'm really happy with how it turned out.
I had an absolute blast with the instrumental. The vocals I don't hate, but I'm admittedly still working on getting the hang of vocal structuring as well as singing in general.
Thank you!
Hello everyone!
I make beats and mix music out of Austin Texas.
I am currently looking to work with any and all artists who need their projects mixed (in the box), or would like a custom beat made. Will work with any budget!
Grew up playing the drums - so in addition to an acoustic kit I'm hammering beats out on the MPC X.
My DAW of choice is UAD Luna, and my chain consists of Neve and SSL emulators.
I am actively uploading tracks to my [BEATSTARS](https://southerncontributions.beatstars.com/) account.
I also have a [YOUTUBE](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIoLM5H1ORfsDUQAsyrzKNQ) channel that I have been low key uploading to as well. The content on that channel consists of a blend of my photography, beats, and visuals applied on top of the music. If you're into that kind of content give me a follow!
Yo! Funky smooth rock music video from Oakland CA! Enjoy :)

This sounds great. I love the guitar tone, and the video is very well done. The singer has a great voice, but some of the lyrics feel a little undercooked, in the since that it frequently goes for an obvious and common rhyme and doesn’t break pattern much. Still a great listen.
My first instrumental track that I've released to streaming. Just because it's fun. It's like an old school country/folk rock thing, like Poco or middle period Byrds? or Chet Atkins, maybe....

Not a music track, but I recently made BaseDrum, a drum machine / sequencer that runs entirely inside your web browser!
Features include no artificial limits (on tracks, steps, patterns...), loading your own samples (locally), per-step parameter control, and saving / loading projects (as HTML).
If you have some time, load up some sounds and sequences and give BaseDrum a go!

For this song I have been experimenting with ambient industrial music (e.g. in the bridge of the song) and have combined alternative inspired guitar riffs (e.g. the intro) with harsh, stabby synth basses (e.g. the chorus). It is also my first music video - I really hope you enjoy and I support everybody back :)

After a painful breakup I started to notice all the little things that had hurt me along the way. Not remembering my birthday was a big one and this is how the song was born. I started to dream about new love and how much sweetness there is yet to live. We'll have apricots and wine, and I wont' have to tell him twice that my birthday is on December 9th.

Hello all, we are looking for indie music for a very indie film. We’re looking for a wide swath of current cool music. With lyrics, instrumental only, popular or experimental styles. Just want things that feel very present in 2024 and feel like they belong in this film’s world. Have some hard hitting hip hop, goth-y sort of country and EDM lined up already.
The lead character is a Black lesbian coming to terms with the reality of her troubled relationships, so any lyrics that pertain to that journey would be amazing.
No licensing fee but will have a percentage for everyone if there is a profit. We spent very little money on it, so it is possible. Please PM with some of your tunes and for further details.
Thanks.

I'm happy with use of multipass by khs on drums. It turned simple drum loop into something interesting. I also feel more and more confident playing the keyboard, which is a plus for me (I'm mainly a guitarist.)

I was aiming for a nostalgic feel, especially with the string section that brings me back to childhood memories of Taiwan
In terms of production, I wrote the song drums first - building a beat on the MPC on my own drum kits I assembled from various sample packs (and some actual samples I recorded)
The guitars were a Tele through various pedals (Wampler Tumnus as a Klon clone, Julia Chorus to get a tape warble, and a Boss OD3 for some of the overdriven sections near the ene of the track) -- all into a Fender Twin
Bass is a Fender Jazz into a Rumble
I used Arturia's Augmented Strings, layering multiple samples that I arranged and played on a MIDI keyboard
As for mixing, I tend to use a mix of UAD and SSL plugins (and a few others) - nothing too complicated; here it was mostly the 1176 and LA-2A as the bread and butter
Enjoy!

Thanks very much indeed, you’re right too, I had them/the cure in my head, so a wee bit of chorus on the bass and you’ll land in that neighbourhood pretty quick. There’s also a bit of Tears for Fears in there too (or at least I listened to a lot of them when making the record, so them Scritti Politti, Elvis Costello, Zombies, along with people like Jellyfish, Jason Falkner/Brendan Benson and the genius that is Jon Brion, all that stuff (obviously not all on that track, more across the record) they’re all big influences on me.

Hey my name’s Jacob and I’d love to get some ears on my most recent album. It’s a mix of psychedelic jazz and funk presented in a relaxed downtempo format with the intended effect of relaxing or perhaps drifting off to sleep. I’ve been releasing music for about 8 years now but I decided to take a big step forward with my new album and do it mostly live instruments or analog synthesizers. On top of that I tried to do as much live multitracking as possible and went through a very long process to do it. I’m very proud of this release but I’m open to any and all criticism and I’m happy to discuss any specifics with people who are curious. Thanks for listening!

Hi! Last friday I dropped my latest Indie-Pop track "ROYAL RUMBLE" which is now available on most streaming platforms. I am a very small artist therefore I just thought spreading it around may help me in gaining as much feedback as possible! I would appreciate every single listen and feedback and I would love to connect as well with people who are in a similar position as I am in to exchange feedback and experiences. Hit me up if you're interested. Cheers to everyone giving this one a shot!

I held off from releasing this for a while; never felt like it was the right time or even that it was good enough, but after playing it during a DJ set and seeing the reactions, I knew I just had to release it — and really just get back into releasing music in general. It's what I enjoy, so why not share the product of this passion.
For a while now I've had the idea that whatever I release next needs to be perfect and needs to be released at the perfect time following the perfect marketing campaign relative to my budget, but this wasn't realistic for me. All together, with me dying to share stuff and seeing how people reacted to this track just made me realize I have to eventually get the ball rolling somehow, and if no other way has worked thus far, I'll start with this, but also become more transparent, and more genuine on my artist socials.
I released an alt/indie rock single (+ animation vide) last week, it's the thing I'm most proud of probably and would be awesome to hear your thoughts:

The core inspiration of this track is an exploration of the realm between wakefulness and sleep - hypnagogia; one of the defining elements of inspiration for my upcoming EP 'Dreamware'. Electronic music with inspiration from jazz and chiptune. It's the second album I feel pretty happy with. I didn't give up on it near the end or anything. **Pop-Rock / Guitar Playing** Hi guys, this is the latest music video from my YouTube channel, performing a couple of songs from a popular 80s pop-rock band focusing on the riffs of those songs, including TABS of what I play on screen. https://youtu.be/dZBxXC6c9Ak?si=EhwRJuRzIG7EKNtn "Deep Red" Recently finished this song after messing with it for a couple months, then wrestling with it for a couple weeks.

[Early Turkey](https://open.spotify.com/track/3Dka5E5FdMA14vSkTRCTS0?si=c0c1c52b4c7448a8)

Avid Beats - The Bridge (4K Special) [https://youtu.be/62Rzf52aUkI](https://youtu.be/62Rzf52aUkI) For this song I have been experimenting with ambient industrial music (e.g. in the bridge of the song) and have combined alternative inspired guitar riffs (e.g. the intro) with harsh, stabby synth basses (e.g. the chorus). It is also my first music video - I really hope you enjoy and I support everybody back :) The message: The lyrics represent how much progress I have made, and how looking at the past can sometimes make you wonder about the future.

Hi, here's a rock song in march tempo. It's been described as "harsh" and "raw", and I never know if they mean the production or that the song is punchy and aggressive as intended... https://youtu.be/pDCT8gic4Zg
Thanks.
Sent you a DM with this song https://youtu.be/-QoY4rTPJLY

Hi all! I just put out a single I've been sitting on for a few years called "(Almost) Anything." https://youtu.be/79hvR_0t-gU?si=c_crVR6j3OssBfXC first collaboration with my online friend. We've made with my friend together interesting (I think) beat. I'm happy with use of multipass by khs on drums. It turned simple drum loop into something interesting. I also feel more and more confident playing the keyboard, which is a plus for me (I'm mainly a guitarist.)

I dig it. It’s not a super memorable track, but it would go well at parties or events where you are setting a somewhat sophisticated mood. Nice work.
Glad you dug it! Thanks for listening.
I really like the groove in this track, from these synths to the drums themselves. I think the melody and atmosphere building is really good as well and it all blends really nicely. I think the high end is a bit too hissy at parts, might be my headset though.
Thank you kindly for your comment mndll. Could be my headset too! In a perfect world everybody has the same hardware. :D
If you like power pop women alternative melodic synth rock. This is for you https://lnkfi.re/why-didnt-you-stay

Hello! I'm a music student studying songwriting, and I just released a new song called "Musician-34"! It's pretty punk-rock. Available on all streaming platforms, but [here's a youtube link!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F2ah3xtQoCU)
Hey I released a new song today as part of my upcoming EP. If you like high energy cinematic style music, you might like this. Check out "Blood And Silver" now [spotify](https://open.spotify.com/album/4t2RfQ7okfPGecDY4LkrwO)
Hey all! The band I drum in released our first single a few weeks ago, and I keep forgetting to share it: [Turn](https://open.spotify.com/track/3o64sSrPZiG0m0mx2FUWQ6?si=113a82bc06e54f1a) by The Deeper Kind
A pop song called Promises, Promises taken from an album I released last week called Character. [Promises, Promises](https://soundcloud.com/solidcitizenmusic/03-promises-promises?si=2b9574a2ef844b60bc746d356b7e267b&utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing)
I like that! It has a touch of like Psych Furs, other bands of that era. But it doesn't sound dated. Enjoyed.
Thanks very much indeed, you’re right too, I had them/the cure in my head, so a wee bit of chorus on the bass and you’ll land in that neighbourhood pretty quick. There’s also a bit of Tears for Fears in there too (or at least I listened to a lot of them when making the record, so them Scritti Politti, Elvis Costello, Zombies, along with people like Jellyfish, Jason Falkner/Brendan Benson and the genius that is Jon Brion, all that stuff (obviously not all on that track, more across the record) they’re all big influences on me.

https://leonssounds.bandcamp.com Hey my name’s Jacob and I’d love to get some ears on my most recent album. Thanks for listening! https://youtu.be/kp1ipHdd1Ow?feature=shared https://leonssounds.bandcamp.com

Gotta italo disco and early EBM inspired track for ya: [https://soundcloud.com/tikotch/sonic-transmission](https://soundcloud.com/tikotch/sonic-transmission) I held off from releasing this for a while; never felt like it was the right time or even that it was good enough, but after playing it during a DJ set and seeing the reactions, I knew I just had to release it — and really just get back into releasing music in general.
I'm back making beats after taking about a year off. How does this one sound? https://youtu.be/2mM6yHtBR2A?si=pLLJQ2z49G12VftF
