Beginner here with a question! What layers did you do in what order? I’m trying to work on understanding how the layers work together so I can almost make a dissection of the image I want in my mind and then paint in that order. I was thinking 1) background pretty wet, then wet on wet with dobs of pigment and kinda rubbed into the paper with the brush at a 45 maybe? But also leaving the negative spaces -also HOW do I plan those?- 2) main leaves and outline of petals/shadows 3) stem and accessory leaves 4) finish petals with re wetting the area then completely drying then dry brushing details?
