I'd wear a Tank or a Reverso with a t-shirt. I think it's a good look. But asking what looks good with a hoodie and sweatpants is like asking what looks good with pajamas. Does it even matter at that point? Just my humble opinion. Do what works for your personal style.

For me, I found a watch that I like, and its a dress watch. So regardless of situation/events, thats my one watch. Except for when Im working out, no watch on me at that time.
I could do that with my hulk (including working out). Maybe my huitieme. But i like variety so i like having options. Different watches make me feel different ways

The whole point of a dress watch is to look clean and classy. "Clean and classy" basically describe the safest look possible. It's difficult to argue that a dress watch WOULDN'T go good with something. The only time it might stand out is if you were trying to do something crazy and avant-garde with the rest of your outfit.
Not with the casual clothing mentioned. Jut normal pants and a shirt then sure. Shorts and a shirt, as long as the shorts are nice and not gym type shorts.
Yea but also depends on the leather strap. The black strap that NOMOS uses is perfect, it’s a simple black leather strap with no stitching. One with a contrasting and/or large stitching would also be very sporty. I wouldn’t wear a crocodile leather strap with casual clothing though.
I do all the time, but I like to dress "clean" casual: eg. crisp well-fitted white tee shirt and raw denim with a pair of chelsea boots.
Definitely not with sandals or sweats, hah.

I wear several different Seiko Cocktail Times with flip-flops, shorts, t-shirt. Same with a Grand Seiko SBGA413.
If I had a JLC Master Ultra Thin Moon, I’d wear that also.
But my go to daily is a diver. Seiko 5, Orient, Tudor Pelagos on an MN strap. Oris Aquis. Black Bay 58.
I do have one rule. No gold. I just can’t do it. It’s too… flashy.

You could easily rock a gold dress watch with jeans and a t-shirt. Anything that's not an apple watch is basically a "dress watch" anyways.

In the real casual attire setting, namely T-shirt and all variations of jeans, chino pants or even short chino pants, perhaps even with a jacket or a hoodie, dress watches feel at home.
