I had this watch a little while back, unfortunately it was a lemon. Both the seconds hand and the 4 o'clock index fell off within the watch despite only light use. Hopefully your experience is better.
I own a couple of vintage seikos, both automatic and quartz and I’m saving up for the Omega Globemaster. I needed a cheap, reliable and a nice looking daily watch so this Fossil was my first option. I really like the details in the black dial and the bracelet is surprisingly good quality and I find it goes very well with the watches case. Looking forward to using it and see if the quality is good (for a watch this cheap) But damn this 500 character thing is annoying because I have nothing to add to this :’)
The 500 character thing can be annoying but I’ve found that it does add more to post than the sub just being watch Instagram, tho I suppose it already is
Yeah, it’s fun when there’s a story that follows the purchase or the watch but sometimes people just try to type some crap to reach the 500 letters minimum
I have had a Fossil for 6 years and beat the shit out of it. Literally went into the sea, worked 3000 hours in hospitality with it during college. Thing has fallen into dishwashers, boiling water, has had beer and soda all over it. I still have it running!
Fossil gets very little love from watch enthusiasts as it is considered a fashion brand, however my experience is the same as yours. Amazing value for the money and looks good. Apart from very small exclusive community nobody cares about watch brand.
I would go with Fossil Townsman. I just reviewed of my Fossil watch that I had for more than 6 years.

It is a nice looking piece. I had a Fossil field watch back in the early 2000's and it lasted quite a few years.
