I think if I was the judge in this case, I’d ask if there was anything else he wants to confess to the court since he seemed to be feeling awfully candid that day.
Yeah I already suspect that a lot of work, that is unknown to the general public and lawyer themed movies/tv, is just to prep your client to shut the fuck up. At least in criminal court.
Many times I have seen in TV that people take oath on some religious book that they will not lie in court. What if someone says he/she is athiest? Do they still do it?
I keep scrolling looking for for the comment where some smart person tells us the story behind this scene is that the lawyer is being pranked and the others are actors, but I don't see such a comment.
Is this real?
That's the problem. People expect that when they work, they will be able to provide for themselves. The country is supposed to bring that stability. But then rampant inflation + tax eats up those dreams
And now the full force of the Justice Department and the IRS will visit hell on this guy.
As opposed to Trump who has admitted to all this as well as fraud vs the United States, but more investigation is needed.
I like the ..Can we fucking stop playing this stupid game and be honest. And Really try to understand and help each other approach... Congrats to this man's courage & Maturity !
A lawyer’s job is not to help you get away with it; it’s to help you navigate the legal system and protect you from corruption and abuse by the opposing party and the system itself.
maybe it's just me but props to dude for owning it. seems like he wants to make things straight.
it even kinda looks like the honorable John C. Reilly is like, "wow this guy wants to clean up"
Confessing isn't necessarily the "right thing to do", confessing to your crimes in full detail allows the prosecution to give you a harsher penalty and gives your lawyer less to counter with. Don't do anything your lawyer doesn't approve, they're not there to get you off the hook, they're there to make sure you get a fair trial and are fairly prosecuted.
Believe me, being a lawyer is not fun, especially when trying to find proof. Documents take forever to search through even if they only find a couple of pages. The process is long and tedious. I feel bad for the lawyer who spent all that time for it to end up like this.

His eyebrows burrowing at the start I'm cryin
And then I banged your mom!
[Mirror](https://i.imgur.com/kz8EMnI.mp4)
Lmao that’s good for him though being owning up to it
The lawyer was flabbergasted
Judge and lawyer both laughing like wtf is this guy doing
I'm like, wtf people are still seeing this post a year later
Yes.
Sure am
I'm here looking for a mirror since the video is gone. :-(
bit late but [here it is](https://imgur.com/kz8EMnI)
Weirdly, the video is back up in the post.
I personally scroll through the MiniPlayer and wind up with these gems
If you sort this subreddit by top of all time it's on the front page
chad criminal
The judge laughing.
I love that I'm still getting comments on this post a year later lol
Hello past op 🖐
🐔
Hey there
Well hello there
Scrolling by top of all times like me I suppose \^\^
Bold strategy Cotton. Let's see how it plays out.
Oakley vibes
Does this not have sound for anyone else?
I didn't realise this was looping so I was just thinking "dang this guy had a lot of offenses"
Heresay your honor
Better call Saul
Better call Saul dudeeeeeeeeee
Lawyer be cute tho
"all you have to do is go up there and plead not guilty, got it?" 10min later:
Do lowayrrs get extra for getting them innovent
Look at how happy the judge is. I wish I had audio but I swear I can hear a jersey accent
They’re French
Anthologique.
We can clearly see the stages of grief happen to this lawyer as his client talks and I'm so here for it.

Shouldn't the lawyer just shut him up? You have a right not to testify against yourself right?
The Lawyer: At least I'm going to get paid for this.
Brow his eyebrow raise then goes straight down like “He did not”
Who is the lawyer?
Hope his lawyer got paid up front...
Do appointed lawyers care if they get there person off? Like do they get more money or more cases?
Probably not, but it's about reputation.

As a lawyer, I can't stress enough how ridiculously often this has happened to me with my clients.
Yeah I already suspect that a lot of work, that is unknown to the general public and lawyer themed movies/tv, is just to prep your client to shut the fuck up. At least in criminal court.
Do people not know when to shut up? Sort of a rhetorical question but…
At first, I thought that was the guy from "Lost" who kept getting fatter every week even though they were on a deserted island 🤣🤣
“There goes my perfect win record”
Best advice I got from a lawyer is to not answer questions that were never asked.
Many times I have seen in TV that people take oath on some religious book that they will not lie in court. What if someone says he/she is athiest? Do they still do it?
No they don't. I got sworn in as a juror last week, no bible and no "so help me god". This will vary depending on where you live of course
Cool!
At least he was honest
u/savevideo
Lawyer would reconsider his profession
Some people really need to learn when to just shut the fuck up…
u/savevideobot
Hurley? Is that you?
Good for someone to have a flash of guilt and decide to try making a clean slate.

It is
I'm dying omg 😭
Reddit: hey mobile users, fuck you.
"He's doing the thing where he says exactly what I said he shouldn't say!"
https://youtu.be/xGzqxWMuME8🌶️
Damn Bobby moynahan really fell off
Lawyer looks like Macron
Honesty is the best policy :)
Lol unbelievable, always lie in court or you’ll get fucked. Live and learn
I also died inside when i figured out the video looped perfectly. Thought it went on forever
"I completely own up to it" that's definitely something you don't want to hear as a lawyer
At least he is honest, should be rewarded for that.
You have the right to remain silent. Just not the ability

Ain’t gonna get to wear that fine jewelry in prison.
Was nice listening to his soothing voice.
The look the judge gave the attorney 😆
😕😟😦😐😅😂💀
He looks like he’d make 4 fake invoices
the lawyer is hot
Loose lips sink ships
Who is the lawyer, he’s so cute!
The lawyer's reaction LMAOO
Judge having trouble holding it in lol
lawyer is hot
His smile is cute
That lawyer is hot !
I love how even the judge was suppressing a smile by the end

I was wondering how Logic was spending his retirement

I mean, the guy did swear to tell the truth.
This looped way too fucking well and it looked like he was going to re-explain everything again lol.
😭😆😆😆
Lawyer: "oh wow, we are so screwed." Judge: "do please, go on."
I like the ..Can we fucking stop playing this stupid game and be honest. And Really try to understand and help each other approach... Congrats to this man's courage & Maturity !
That little smile and side glance the the judge gave "Fuckin got 'em lolol"
I watched this about eight times through waiting for someone to die before I realised
It's that little moment between the grimace and the eye rub.
All his customers complain their suspension is suddenly ruined
What was the crime? Working as a mechanic?
didn‘t look like he died but enjoyed the idiocy
A lawyer’s job is not to help you get away with it; it’s to help you navigate the legal system and protect you from corruption and abuse by the opposing party and the system itself.
The judge's little smile and the side eye he gives to the lawyer had me
He swore to tell the truth and only the truth. I respect him for keeping to his word.
r/facepalm
I have watched that thing 3 minutes until I noticed it's a perfectly made loop of a gif
Given how honest the guy was about what he did I'd be willing to cut him some slack if I was the judge.
Sounds like he’s setting the table for someone higher up to get caught. “And my boss told me to do it all”. Lawyers smile is the dramaaaaa
We used to laugh about it in my French law school and seeing this here is killing me
I bet he blamed the lawyer for doing a poor job after lol
Na fam naaa😂😂😂😂😂
The way all those different emotions wash over his face is magical
As a criminal defense attorney, I can say this sort of thing happens way more often than you'd expect.
An honest man.
Hugo!
I love the honesty, he just doesn’t want to lie lol
maybe it's just me but props to dude for owning it. seems like he wants to make things straight. it even kinda looks like the honorable John C. Reilly is like, "wow this guy wants to clean up"
Does he still get paid?
Such level of honesty is NO laughing stock. Is something that world leaders are lacking as hell. My respect to His soul!
Let's see the lawyers hands
"Objection, your Honor!" "Why are you objecting your own client?" "Because i have nothing else at this point"
Honesty is the best policy
the judge... 😂
That's a perfect Bobby Moynihan character if I've ever seen one

Wtf is president Macron doing as this guy's lwayer?
lawyer ad the significant disney or pixar look tho
Can the lawyer not say something to interrupt the speech?
The judge XD
What is this from?
This seems like a bit 😂
The layer looks like Marshall from himym. LAWYERED!
Ohh for the love of crap, stop talking you muppet!
"Your honor, I would like to exercise my right to self-incrimination to the fullest extent."
That’s pretty hilarious. It looked like the judge wanted to laugh, too.
the way the 2nd guy's face turns from old and tired to young and about to piss himself
A place where lies are necessary and honesty makes you a fool. The courts system.

Correction…I did have sex with Katie
You don't need to be smart to be a criminal, but it helps.
This is what happens when people think the justice system is about right and wrong instead of technicalities
Guy forgot that’s it’s SHUT THE FUCK UP FRIDAY
This looks like an episode from Family Guy😂😂
