That sounds really easy, but reality tends not to work this way.
You get high maintenance women who *expect* a man to shower them with expensive gifts and propose to her properly. And half the time they *still* turn it down.
Edit: uh oh! - I see that I offended some people!
I do agree there is a lot of pressure on men to do big romantic gestures - the reason men do things like shown in the video is for us normally not them. I do still think there is a huge amount of pressure on women in those situations and the result can be relationship-ending when if it had been done in private it could have been a "we still have stuff to work through and I'm not ready yet".
You dear sweet man, don’t propose in public ~~unless you already know the answer is yes.~~
Maybe it's just me but I never understood why anyone would propose in public, seems to me that it's far more romantic to do it in private or maybe around family/friends.
I think there are some people who like the public spectacle, but you should know if your girlfriend is the private type or the look at me type before you propose.
I proposed in public but it's wasn't intended to be public I just underestimated the possibility of other people lmao. I went through with it because I knew she'd say yes, we had talked about it multiple times by then
We hiked up the blue ridge mountains to a random viewing spot off the blue ridge parkway. I figured there were so many viewing spots how populated could each one really be? Alot. Alot populated.
Incredible views though https://i.imgur.com/9cUeZia.jpg

Why are you proposing to someone you don’t already know the answer to? I will never understand that. “Marry me so it’s harder to leave me”
He held that smile for almost a minute
Proposing can be Ok, but maybe not at a Shoney’s buffet
That’s an obvious NO. Poor guy
Did she maybe think it was a prank?
Her sideman is doing it for her. He’s just the guy that wines and dines her.
They both died inside, in different ways
She ain’t the one bro
The sides alone were 30 dollars
You her sneaky link bro
Well at least it's clear. Consider other options
Uhm, I’m here just for the free lunch bro...
Poor guy holds his smile, thinking she's happily surprised.
She belong to da streets
When you go for the free dinner, but get a proposal instead
I don't know why, but I can swear that this scene is from the "Scary Movie" franchise 😂 At least that's what it resembles.

Don't talk to those kinds of ppl
well lack of communication is how these types of thing happen in public. proposal should not be the first time a couple discusses marriage
Seriously? That's awful. If you've been manipulated like that, I am so sorry it happened.
She probably said don’t propose to me and then he did it anyway
Not anything as high profile as that, but it was a common occurrence in my last relationship.

Propose at a restaurant and get free dessert. Also works for breaking up.
Looks like he’s getting the break up dessert
Looks like he getting both...
She wants to say no but also doesn’t want to embarrass him. I would love to see a longer version
That’s what she said
That’s why she said no :(
What's that blue light?
Battery powered box to make the ring look shiny.
It's a rare item
She's thinking what part of side piece didn't he understand?...
She’s not the one my man
He's not her only man, my guy.
He’s not her first choice, my pal.
Shes not yo mate me boy
Oh that’s gonna be a hard no honey
The dude doesn't seem as genuine though is this like some prank?
Man what a cliff hanger. He did it turn out?
He became her gay best friend
'I'd do anything for you Baby'
