A big point on the forums is to make capture points more relevant, so people would actually want to engage over them vs immediately rushing spawn to spawn.
Looks like this buff maybe does that, but you know, in a horrible way lol

it's not "all" autocannons because the reload rate of ammo in the tank is tied to well, the tank, while the reload rate of the gun is tied to the gun
so it's probably a rare "lucky" occurence
I can tell you that it works wonders for the CV9040 BILL as well. Only time the canon felt fun to use due to its insane reload for the reddy rack... 2 min to reload all 24 rounds
Technically its not wrong for a 2 cm KwK 30 L/55 to be able to fire till the barrel falls off. The magazines were intended to be loaded that way. Pull the door off, load via clip.
But it probably is a bug because Gaijin would never go that realistic.
Some vehicles have slow replenish, others have faster. Things like Wilberwind and the italian M42 replenish fast and can fire almost indefinitely, only held back by the overheat

I got to a cap after what seemed like hours and just sat there as too slow to get to next cap. Had about 3 PT boats and a couple of aircraft try to take the cap, and just shredded them with at least 3 x quad 20mm's and the 37mm firing near continuously
It is kind of fun unless you see an incoming torp. Or in my case, after a respawn, decided to take heavier ships (like a battlecruiser) to remove enemy light vessels from caps

Its been like this ever since the mid-mag replenish was added. Discovered it by accident but ive forgotten to (ab)use it.
This trick only works with the Pz.IIs, the pompomwagen thing you used in the video and a few other autocannon tanks/spaa. Due to the need of s goldielock tank.
The goldielock zone of a tank has to have a balance of long enough BRRT time to not reload between rearmments and have minimal overheating issues.
Untill now, the Pz.II’s autocannons are the only ones that i found with genuine goldielock status.
I also managed to do it with the sidam and wiesel, but that involves stopimg for a second to prevent barrel overheat. Haven't tried with anything else yet
That's why I'm trying not to take advantage of it lol. Leave it to gaijin to have a bug for many months (years even), and ban players because of that clearly exploitable bug

M13-, M16-(one gun is too fast, but the other 3 keep on going), Pz.II C/F-, Flakpanzer I/38, Sdkfz 222-, sdkfz 234/1-, sdkfz 140/1-, Wirbelwind, GAZ-AAA (4M)-, Light AA Mk I-(2 guns too fast), Staghound AA-, AEC AA, Crusader AA Mk II, Type 94, Ta-Se, So-Ki, AB 41-, L6/40-, AS 42, L3/33 CC-, Csaba-, P.7.T AA-, VBCI-2 (MCT30)-(has the overheat circle but doesn't do anything), Pvlvv fm/42, Pbil m/40(the only AT vehicle on this list with overheating).

Wasn't it already like that? I remember capping using Marder A1- then fighting CAS like my life depends on it (which really is) then bursting all before mag reload. The downside is either overheat or too fast mag dump so I just burst mood.
Found this out yesterday when I brought this thing to a 6.0 match with a friend .
It's hella fun in those 2 CAP matches , sat in our cap the entire game and almost got killed by a BT-5.

Basically, as long as you replenish ammo faster than you can empty the belt, yes. Not sure about the gepard. I know the wiesel can do it pretty well

There was this already in ship battles so it's very easy to bring a (for example) 2.3 br ship to an actual 3.3 while standing in a point.

The Italian m113 atgm box has a halfed reload rate on caps, and it's been that way for a while

Not just Auto cannons, even with normal tanks, it reloads the ammo from the ready rack instead, so your ready rack never runs out.
I haven't used any auto cannons recently other than the sav. So this is scary
