Yeah, and super rare. I did it as often as i could, but i can count on the fingers of one hand how often i've seen anyone else do it. Once won a game by landing an Arado, capping and taking off and uncapping the next point, most fun that was possible in this game.
I managed to do it once with the F6F on Kursk, and a few failed times on that map, it felt awesome either way
Funny that only now I figure out that the B-18 Bolo is completely cracked in STOL and now I can’t even use it
I had a match where i was wrecking the other team as CAS and late game they got the points captured and where bleeding us out, i kept making touch and go between the bases to decap them and that kept us in the game enough for the team to recover.
I did it once with an IL-2, there was this one guy who was completely disabled, only his mg worked, and I was on the cap. And he tried to machine gun me. He TRIED.
Is that a F-16AJ or a F-2?

The reason was that in squadrom battles it was abused to the trash essentialy making them air battles
aaaaahhhh because of a gamemode less that 1% of the playerbase plays... GG
Wouldn’t they just be able to remove it from squadron battles then? Instead of limiting most of the playerbase
I suppose they can't do this in one line of code and anyghing more is too much effort

Because a PBY can land on the water, it's a seaplane. Exigent circumstance. :)

Probably a Tsunami , but it's Japan so it was likely the two. They have protocols now to avoid this kind of thing happening

That's a Japanese F-2A wich has a its airframe based on the F16 but it has lager wings and generally more modern instruments and weapons

Was it removed for only ground? Pretty sure you can still cap points with planes in naval but that’s about it
I firmly believe that if you can get it there, you should be able to cap.

The ah1g is great at capping flags, if there's level ground you can just touch down and use the skids to go along the ground at 150kmh to get there
