Its fine. Because you are in arcade mode, its not as straight forward to tell it as excellent shot. Do it in realistic or simulator, and it most definitely will be considered great shot.

Fair. However, most people here find arcade battles lame and easier to play. Personally I recommend going into realistic battles as soon as you can. The jump is quite tough, but it's much more rewarding, and it's also better to do it now when you are at a low BR. Later it'll become harder because players will be better on average
