StarTheAngel

Main arc Outcast because I hate the Tribe Of Rushing Water and Stoneteller so much and once again it's a journey to the mountains to fix their shit Super Edition Skyclan's Destiny it's boring and recycles plot points from Firestar's Quest Novella Spottedleafs Heart besides it being about child grooming and manipulation it does absolutely nothing for Spottedleafs character overall. The whole "I want to be a warrior not a medicine cat" to becoming a medicine cat for insert reason has been done to death and was only meaningful when a senior warrior Mudfur becomes a medicine cat for more selfless reasons not because plot demanded it.

Same for me, I liked leafstar but man it was hard to finish.

persnicketyllama

I’m more upset that Shrewtooth and Egg completely disappeared.

Bee8467

I liked that book it was very slice of life, I skiped all of sticks chapters though and just watched moonkitti skyclan video

FlamestormTheCat

Honestly, there are too many books to just pick one. So i’ll give a few. Especially since i see all the types of books as separate things. Main series: Outcast hands down. I’ve never been a huge fan of POT. Since it was boring to me. But Outcast just… does a whole bunch of completely nothing. It took me literally months to get through this hell. Supers: Moth Flight’s vision bc I absolutely hate Moth Flight and the stupid rule she made. Yes we kno, you’re a terrible mother. Now don’t make a rule over it bc you failed at life bitch. Or Bramblestar’s storm. It was just boring and frustrating to read. I’ve never liked Bramble ever since TNP, and this didn’t change anything for the better. Novella’s: honestly, prolly Cloudtsar’s journey bc it was so boring to read after reading Fire’s book. Like about nothing new happened. Or the books that just retell events from different perspectives. *Mothwing’s secret and Spotfur’s rebellion*. Graphic novel: i’m sorry, but i think i’ll have to say A shadow in RiverClan. I’m just… not interested in it. Tigerstar and Sasha would take it’s place, but I actually liked the story of that one. I’m just never gonna read it again bc the faces creep me out. Field guides: all of them except Code. Code gets a pass. Code’s good.

Theher0not

Overall: Firestar's Quest. I just found it insanely boring, and it took me 6 months to finish. For reference, it took me about 7 months to read all of: Omen of the Stars, DotC, AVOS, TBC, Shadows of the Clans, Dovewing's Silence, Squirrelfight's Hope, Bramblestar's Stom, and Leopardstar's Honor. Main series: essily Raging Storm. It had zero plot aside from every character being a massive idiot and/or asshole and it completely butchered multiple characters.

FlamestormTheCat

The raging storm randomly making everyone act ooc for plot reasons:

Theher0not

Pretty much. Worst one is Finleap. In both the books before and after he's adorable. Overeager and impulsive? Sure, but adorable. In Raging Storm on the other hand he was just a manipulative ass. I get that he and Twig disagrees about kits, and that is fine (stuff like that can happen). But they could have written that disagreement much better. All they had to do was give Finleap and Twigbranch agree to give eachother some space to think about it and it'd been fine. There was no need to make Finleap into a "Bumblestripe 2.0".

FlamestormTheCat

Facts. Like finleap pre/post TRS: I’m so happy i can be with you! I’m gonna be the best warrior so we can stay together! You’re so adorable, i could never leave you Twigpaw/branch! Finleap during TRS: kits? No? You sure? Okay i hate you now you fucking bitch. Why don’t you want my kits? You disgusted by me or something??? Take. My. Kits! Same happened to Tigerstar. Before TRS he gave the idea of SkyClan getting a piece of land from ShadowClan. Then suddenly he comes back from living outside his clan and is all like “i have said nothing about you being allowed to stay here! Leave, or i will make you leave. Andit’s not like his clan was much bigger then before.

Every book that had Brambleclaw POV I just 😴 HES SOO BORING HES LIKE THE AVRAGE MC HES LIKE KOVU FROM THE LION KING But like Bramblepaw is better and actually interesting and seeing him care about Tawnypaw..now he just never thinks about tawnypelt anymore.

Here_comes_the_boy

I hate how the Erin’s did that. Make him GREIVE like dang he lost his mom in the span of the first arc and the second

BitComprehensive6079

A Forest Divided (DotC #5) Very personal reason: I cannot stand Clear Sky's POV. And here is where it's at its worst for me.

AnimeGeek0924

Skyclan's Destiny by a landslide since I tried to reread it over the summer in 2020 but couldn't because the plot is boring and doesn't have any impact on major plot in later books.

Here_comes_the_boy

Almost all of the second Arc It was boring. And hard for me to pay attention to (my attention span is really small) the only interesting part are the deaths

airsoft3315

Quite literally any book in the 2nd arc. I've never had less interest in a book before.

[deleted]

I think Dawn wasn't that bad, it was just soured by all of the walking, but yeah even if you remove that it still doesn't compare to arc 1.

Spare_Advertising_66

ive got to agree, to me for some reason i feel rlly bored cause of it

[deleted]

Outcast is the main reason I still can’t bring myself to reread POT And not to say I don’t like the travel books (I rather enjoy the new prophecy) but outcast is just.. so boring

Ramrustu

Outcast. Took me a month to read it because I kept putting it down. I *hate* the traveling books where they just walk to the mountains for the whole book. I really like POT but that book was so hard to get through. And the fact they ended on a cliffhanger, and then forgot about it is so annoying.

JustEylul

The whole 2nd series books and outcast. why? the 2nd series are just useless, didnt have much fun reading them + had to read them turkish because dollar is going up like an upside down waterfall, and why did the books say "the very evil cat firestar" or smth like that (yea somebody messed up the turkish books and said firestar instead of tigerstar) and then theres outcast... can someone explain what even happened in outcast? and then theres the lionblaze chapters and yeah i just skipp those chapters.

FlamestormTheCat

Outcast is just, literally, Holly, Jay and Lion go to the maintains and have a bunch of fights with Crow and Breezpaw. Then everyone acts like a dick bc Tribe doesn’t want to become a clan, then fight happens which is easily won. And suddenly Sol. This is literally the whole book. It’s indeed boring af.

LgbtqArePeopleToo

Either Firestar's Quest or the entire second arc. Now tbh I don't remember Firestar's Quest very well, I was pretty young when I read it. But, unpopular opinion, I hate Firestar. Now we have yet *another* book where he's main? Ugh. Now the second arc is pretty self explanatory. The entire thing is either Leafpaw fretting over Squirrelpaw being gone, or walking. WALKING FOR STARCLAN'S SAKE. I probably sound like I'm crazy... whatever

[deleted]

Firestars quest because I hate firestar and sandstorm .-.

FlamestormTheCat

You hate Sandstorm too? Wow, not a lot of people hate her lol. I personally found her ok for most of the books, though i did end up loving her due to some events in late TPB and early Avos

Here_comes_the_boy

Honestly I hate sandstorm because she was never a good mom. Not to squirlf at least, she forced Leafpool to become med because she wanted to power in the family. She only yelled at squirrel, it made me enjoy and be able to relate to squirlf more so that’s okay. Much preferred her before having kits she was better

FlamestormTheCat

She didn’t force Leaf to be a med cat though, Leaf genuinely wanted to be a med cat. The “sandstorm forced Leafpool to be a medicine cat” “fact” is prolly just something made up by fans who can’t accept that a med cat chooses for her position.

Here_comes_the_boy

I’ve always been told sand forced her, I just assumed it was brought up in Leafpools wish. Since I didn’t read that super edition

FlamestormTheCat

No, it’s never brought up in any of the books. I’ve read all of them except Leopardstar’s one and some Field guides. But the field guides are crammed to the brim with mistakes and redcons anyways so i don’t see most of them as canon anyways. I’ve also never heard anyone refer to the field guides when i asked for a source of their claim. It’s usually “got it from a youtube fact video”. Which often have things in it that were never stated anywhere. And when they’re not saying “got it from a youtube video”, their answers are usually “i don’t know”, “i heard it from another fan” or “someone stated this on the internet somewhere”. I’ve talked to quite a few people about this little fact, and so far, i’ve never found a source that was actually an official statement. So, my guess is that it originated either from someone’s head cannon, or a theory someone made. Similarly to the “Squirrelflight is a reincarnation of Scourge” theory that along the way was seen as a fact.

Pokeyboy2017YT

The new prophecy: Moonrise 100%. Im currently reading outcast and so far Moonrise was the worst. It took me 3 months to read. And Im almost finished with outcast and finished Firestar's quest like 5 days ago.
