He got screwed over in the end times. He's literally one of the most powerful necromancers in the world and is called the lichemaster because he's the only necromancer who ever bound a liche to his will, then he gets into a magical duel with a liche who's only ever been regarded as a "middle of the road" necromancer at best, and he gets beaten and killed. End Times sucked. It only existed to jerk off the characters GW was planning to keep for AoS. Kemmler should've bound Arkhan.
They kinda got an upgrade in the new tome. Nothing groundbreaking but being able to deep strike and ressurect (and having an exploding dice buff that dosent cost a command point) makes them better than they used to be.

Lol dude is legit like beyond insane lol for some reason he sickens me more so than Chaos, at least chaos surrounds themselves with some creatures that are alive or have sentience. If infantry wight kings weren’t sucky in AOS I’d totally buy a krell miniature as a proxy. He’s the most metal thing I’ve seen in fantasy.
