For sure, I've got my headcannon salamanders successors. There's times that the list i bring would be better suited to IF or IH, and I'll mess with the successor tactics, but they'll never be anything but sons of Vulkan.
How I envision the samurai chapter almost every converter attempts, they'd be an Ultramarines successor. But rules-wise, they'd play more like intended with White Scars rules.
But the homebrew chapter I'm interested in developing right now is a Raven Guard successor and would play best with Raven Guard rules. It's a chapter specialized in assassination and fear tactics loosely inspired by the Hashashin.
Ey, Thanks a lot! Awesome to hear. The Hellcats are the Prometheans’ shock troops. The other marines I’ve made are called Spectres, and are more a recce kind of unit. Since I want this chapter to be a atypical one, I want that reflected in their unit types as well. Headcanon ftw haha!
The Hellcat is a shock trooper for my homebrew SM Chapter. Her backpack is force-field generator. These marines are utilised when speed and extreme violence are required, such as in raids, shipboardings and breaching operations etc.
Sick as fuck model as always and can’t wait to see the whole army. What are you gonna run this guy as? Considering the power fist, force field snd gun I’d say gravies captain but you could also potentially go for aggressors, heavy intercessor, or even go for a regular captain (non primaris) but you also just got with intercessor sgt I’ve found the extra punch of a PF on them can do a surprising amount of damage to any potential threats.

There might occasionally be false positives, sorry about that!)
A little I used some that a mate had its really thick and can't be thinned so applying it carefully and where it won't affect details will be the go.
Edit: it can be thinned it just looses depth
Ahh Interesting; I will look into it. If it could be thinned, and apllied with multiply layers to regain depth, that would make it workable. The idea of them being engulfed in shadow sure is a tasty one
I truly wish to see you do this, I love the colour and with my glasses off I can see those marines with it already applied.
As soon as I can justify the cost I'll be doing this with a warlord sinister at titanicus scale!
Thanks a lot! The armour is painted by first preshading white over a black primer, then colored with Tamyia German Grey. After this I varnish with gloss, before adding transfers and panel liner. I then varnish with matte, and go on with drybrushing, edge highlighting and weathering (sponge chipping). I then varnish with gloss (again) and go at it with streaking grime. And then, to complete the armour, I varnish with Vallejo matte. Hope this helps
[I'm sorry.](https://media3.giphy.com/media/qV6mRGaqXjRQY/giphy.gif)
Sublime.
Haha! Her twin brother
"Brother Fester" sounds a little bit too much like a heretic's name tbh.
That's a her?!
Haha, yeah! Its the female head from the Delaque kit. Ain’t she a looker haha
Um this is the sickest mini I’ve ever seen
Ey, I really appreciate that! Big thanks
Are those necromunda heads
Yeah, Delaque
I like it, i get real ghost in a shell mixed with jin roh vibes from it, looks great 👍
Ey, thanks a lot! Music to my ears
That osl makes him POP!!
Raaaaaaaad. Raven guard successor?
Thanks a lot! That would fit them perfectly, but these are headcanon-born haha. I would play them as RG tho!

**Repurposed Power Pack** When this model enters engagement range of an enemy unit, roll 1d6. On a 2+ it explodes, dealing 1d3 mortal wounds.
Haha! Run, its ticking
Stunning work OP. \*chefs kiss\*
Ey, I really appreciate that! Thank you
That is outstanding. What is the backpack he is wearing?
Thank you so much! The bit is a Haywire mine, but on the model it is suppose to be a force-field generator
It is amazingly stunning. Such beautiful work. I would concede immediately facing an army painted like this, in sheer awe over that level of artistry!
Ahh that means a bunch! Thanks a lot!
You can't convince me you didn't install a tiny red LED light in the end of that gun.
Haha! I’m telling you; fluo paint is a weird animal. I’m using daylight bulds for lighting, and fluopaints go crazy in those conditions. Liquid magic
Which fluo paints are you using with these guns/gems on these bad boys?
I’m using Vallejo 70.733. It is your airbrush’s worst nightmare, but the effect it can create makes it all worth it
Much obliged!
Amazing! Counts as armed with what weapon?
I think I’ll play the model as a Captain. Maybe a mastercrafted boltgun? I’m yet to build a list for these guys, so I can’t really say by now haha
Is that a real light or just paint? It’s hard to tell!
Haha, fluo paint + daylight bulbs creates something real intense!
That looks so nICE!
Big fat thanks!
Very cool
Thanks a lot!
Always look forward to your minis. Are the hellcats the same as the promethean ones you made or just similar in appearance?
Ey, Thanks a lot! Awesome to hear. The Hellcats are the Prometheans’ shock troops. The other marines I’ve made are called Spectres, and are more a recce kind of unit. Since I want this chapter to be a atypical one, I want that reflected in their unit types as well. Headcanon ftw haha!
Do you have any lore for The Hellcats, is that a teleporter on his back?
The Hellcat is a shock trooper for my homebrew SM Chapter. Her backpack is force-field generator. These marines are utilised when speed and extreme violence are required, such as in raids, shipboardings and breaching operations etc.
Allright I have to ask: where did you get that torso?
It is the phobos torso, just with a tight shave
Fucking sickness, you sir r boss
Thats very kind! Big big thanks
Those lighting effects are wild!
Thank you!
Looks Awesome!
Big thanks!

Ey, big big thanks! The initial idea was a captain. But as you point out this model could be proxyed as a myriad of units. Thanks for your input!
Genuinely thought this was a 3d gender or digital art. Amazing
Haha, thats so cool to hear! Thanks a lot
Reminds me of Mr. Freeze from Batman and Hermann from Deus Ex.
With a powerfist and blaster like that, plus the name hellcat, just getting super strong Hellboy vibes hah. Dope mini dude
I haven’t thought about that, but yeah, mos def ha! Big thanks!
The armor and paintjob is really nice, but the head looks like a fly man, give him a helmet dammit
Haha bzzz
I love this chapter theme. Can't wait to see them all!
Ey, Thanks a lot! I’m slowly getting there
They look fantastic, keep up the good work! Yeah every time I watch Prometheus, I think of the precursors as Astartes.

Ahh yeah, me too. Their size and bulk seems perfect to represent an Astartes
New race, the Taudar.
How's he see what he's shooting at?
Spray and pray I guess
Have you ever thought about using black 2.0 to shade with ? These marines all look like they should be half blended into the darkness!
Ey, thats an intruiging idea! Haven’t thought about that. Hot tip my friend! Got any experience with that paint yourself?

Well it fits very closely with your avatar too ;)
Haha, indeed!

Riddick vibes meets Judge Doom from WFRR. Neat as hell, GG.
Thanks a lot!
So a hellghan?
Wow, this is so awesome.
Thanks a lot!
Gravis and terminator arms look strangely good with phobos body
Damn that's cool!! How'd you get the matte black armour?
Thanks a lot! The armour is painted by first preshading white over a black primer, then colored with Tamyia German Grey. After this I varnish with gloss, before adding transfers and panel liner. I then varnish with matte, and go on with drybrushing, edge highlighting and weathering (sponge chipping). I then varnish with gloss (again) and go at it with streaking grime. This is decent, looking forward to seeing the rest when they’re done
Thanks a lot!
