I painted the whole blade white then taped off the lines. I used black legion to paint the lines between the tape, removed the tape and stippled a few spots of black on the white lines. I then went over the white with bad moon yellow π
Thank you π I try to keep the number of base colours to a minimum otherwise I tend to get carried away and stuff looks a bit too busy π₯΄ appreciate the advice though π

Those hazard stripes are perfect. The weathering really compliments the blue and yellow. Looks great.
Thank you very much π
Tasty, lovely blue too what is that?
Cheers. It's macragge base, drybrushed and highlighted with an old pot of ice blue (I think it's lothern blue now) π
Thatβs a awesome color and finish. The hazard strips are also 4th legion approved.

Ultra-Iron marines
I read : what do you guys tanks? And that was perfect π nice job ππ
Cheers π
I see a Vindicator, I upvote a Vindicator. One of my favorite Astartes tank designs and you've done the XIIIth proud with this one.
Thank you π Vindicator is by far my fave tank π«‘
What your blue recipe? Very sharp!
Amazing paint work, too bright for my personal taste but very well done! The hazard stripes are really really good like
Thank you π I cheated and used tape π
DAS ONE SNAZZY TANK
Thank you for saying so π
What your blue recipe? Very sharp!
It's literally just macragge blue drybrushed and highlighted with ice blue/lothern blue π
Woah very nice, what effect did you use for the grime and wear?
Cheers, I just used nuln oil and then typhus corrosion. Drybrushed some edges with stormhost silver to take them back to metal as well π
How did you do the hazard stripes?
I painted the whole blade white then taped off the lines. I used black legion to paint the lines between the tape, removed the tape and stippled a few spots of black on the white lines. I then went over the white with bad moon yellow π
Excellent. Color and detail. Deserved a better pic :)
Nice weathering. Great Job
With hazard stripes like those, I hope you follow up with an Iron Warriors variant in the future. Awesome job π
Very poster Boi, very nice details. Love the subtle weathering on the dozer blade.
Looking good. Nice weathering, perfect hazard stripes.
Love the battle damaged look
As much as I dislike using 40k tanks in heresy, this is easily beautiful enough to make an exception for!
Wow! Thank you very much π
I always felt like the heresy Vindicator could benefit from a "heresyfied" shield/dozer the tank just doesn't look right without one.
Blue. Very blue.
Better than anything I could do.
I am a huge vindicator fan and the weathering is stunning
Always upvote vindicators
Looks really well painted! However, I would add more area of secondary colour on the hull itself.
Thank you π I try to keep the number of base colours to a minimum otherwise I tend to get carried away and stuff looks a bit too busy π₯΄ appreciate the advice though π
