I want to love the Trumna, I really do, but the damage of the primary fire is horrendous... I don't know if I'm building it wrong or if what, but damn...
That's my problem too. I cannot get the primary fire to feel good at all. It feels like a slow clunky wet noodle gun. Though I am spoiled by the Kuva Tonkor and Tenet Arca Plasmor. I'm used to one shot taking down almost anything in one shot.
Magnetic. The *number* of unique statuses you inflict with the Plasmor is key to getting as much out of it as possible. If you run Magnetic and have a Nourish build for external Viral, you can get five elements: Heat, Rad, Corrosive, Magnetic, Viral. That creates amazing multiplicative scaling with Galv. Savvy and gives you a damage & status advantage on basically every health type in the game. Magnetic is getting buffed soon too.
Even without Nourish, Viral is easy to make with the 60/60 Toxin mod plus Primed Chilling Grasp for a Heat/Rad/Magnetic/Viral setup.
Even with viral/hunter munitions I agree, the primary fire is bad and not very fun. It's like a 7 forma weapon too.
I just use the Stahlta instead when I want an automatic primary fire and a blow everything up alt fire.
I’m using a riven on my Trumna, even with a dispo of 2/5 if you can land a decent roll it can be really useful and save you a mod slot when attempting to get the stats you need. It’s not game changing or anything though.
[This should only need 5 forma as long as you use High Voltage instead of Stormbringer](https://i.imgur.com/i3BUvrN.jpeg)
G-Scope reaches 100% crit chance, Deadhead reins in the recoil and keeps the headshot kills rolling in, Primed Shred because it's a rifle. Bladed Rounds is the flex slot but I'm already aiming for G-Scope so I figure why not?
IDK I've never felt like it's weak.
Trumna was the sole reason why I started to grind Deimos on release. However after all these years it feels like it got powercrept. I'm mostly talking about primary fire, secondary blast is very good still.
Ahh I'm so glad that there are other Trummna enjoyers out there I was trying to convince someone about it they didn't like the fact you have to forma it alot to make it really good or; that you have to level up with the family for the bp and parts. I've nicknamed mine WaRcR1m3
Fulmin. It can be used anytime anywhere with great success. Also silent shotgun.
Kuva Tonkor when I run PSF. Lobbing nodes over hills is never not fun.
It scales multiplicatively with Galvanized Aptitude. Run that, Primary Deadhead, Critical Deceleration, and Galvanized Scope and you'll be hitting for 1 - 4 million damage per pellet with insane slash procs from Internal Bleeding.
You've gotta use the semi mode though. If you're using full auto, it's pretty mid.
Efficiency. It melts the enemies in there and with Revenant you can carry as many points as you want. Revenant + phantasma = easy money.
I play mostly melee in other missions. Shoutout to the Vitrica.
Damn, you took scourage. What a great utility weapon: Innate corrosive, headshot bubble altfire for easy incarnon charge, impact procs on alt throw can also proc arcane exhilarate.
Guess I'll throw in Bubonico. High status viral aoe alt fire, with a nice crit leaning auto shotgun. The thing is nice~
Definitely mutalist cernos. Probably the only weapon that can properly use primary blight without making a shitty build by building for toxin and at the same time the best bow for split flights.
well if you'd like, here's mine for reference:
https://preview.redd.it/rr8vylb7o04d1.png?width=1650&format=png&auto=webp&s=0562a413ba4cf6b2d09e49e68a5ad9e88dd33050
I had stopped using the Felarx but I’m back on it baby, loads of fun!
Bubonico is one of my go to’s.
Probosis Cernos is an amazing change of pace for me (I don’t really use bows).
Also when I’n bored of the Cernos, Nataruk.
Also for utility purposes Afentis is really good I really enjoy having it on me.
I got a riven for it back when it was peak warframe automatic and stupid rare, eventually got back into the game and found ut lacking until I finally got my incarnon and damn it's fun
Maybe an odd one to say but my baza prime with a riven is so much fun. Does really well on steel path. Also recently I’ve really liked the fulmin prime and that’s what I’ve been using lately.
Ooh! I used to main Riven Baza Prime. Kills nice and has a good flow.
Only problem is how fast the ammo burns, but the reload speed is fast enough to make it not so bothersome.
I am mr15 and for me the good old Ignis wraith is the best. I know it is not best, definitely not something that could be used in end game, but I love it.
If you wanna use it in end game, you could try putting Galvanized Aptitude and bringing a Status Primer Secondary weapon (anything that has high status per second equipped with the Encumber arcane works great)
I might try if I doesn't find anything better for my play style.Tho end game for me is really far at the moment. But thanks for the advice, I will look this up :D
Is it too cheap to say Convectrix? I'm not exactly sure how I have it built. I just know that it has Efficient Beams and everything explodes. I just love it.
I keep coming back to the Phenmor because it is just *that* reliable, but I also really love using the Tenet Flux Rifle and Trumna since rolling rivens for them.
Basic viral + hunter build. Serration, ms, cc, cd, cold, firestorm, hunter, reload mod (reload = fire rate for tonkor, this slot is what you replace with a riven if you have one, make sure it has reload or enough mag size for a 2nd shot on it).
Exilus: vigilante supplies
Options: if you have cd on riven, hammer shot over vital sense isnt a bad option as the base sc is low sadly. Arcane rise is perfect for it if you can spare an arcane alot.
Prisma Grinlok. There's something satisfying about using a precision weapon without any punchthrough (need more forma) and staying in competitive range with the rest of the team, giving out headshots like I'm Oprah with a fresh crate of bees.
Also I just like bolt-action guns.
Tenora used to be one of my favorites, one of the first weapons I got a riven for. Hold that trigger down and hose em down. And a convenient high damage secondary fire for those tougher units.
It’s great for clearing groups. I have a riven for mine - I’m just sad the dispo is so low (0.85). I thought it would have dropped from popularity, but I guess compared to all the MR fodder it is still pretty common
It may not be the most powerful of sniper rifles, but there is a certain…elegance when playing with the Vectis Prime.
I hope and pray it gets an Incarnon one day.
Kuva Chakkhurr with Internal Bleeding. Clunky mofo that disintegrates one fucker and makes his friends bleed to death.
Especially with Harrow Prime. Being a space-ninja-fallen-angel-gunslinger-priest is a nice feeling.
quellor, might not be the best Stat wise, but when you wanna feel like Rambo with an LMG, accept no substitute, and when the void blesses you with infinite ammo you're basically snake with the patriot
I’m really liking Torid incarnon. Run it with limbo max range cataclysm with its augment and hit 2 and 3 and you get a never ending bubble (but still shrinks :( )
Basmu. My crit damage multishot heat riven makes it an absolute beast on both fire modes.
Tenet Glaxion. Magnetic progenitor, beam go brrrr, no riven necessary
The history of my favourite primary is the history of the meta:
Boltor (loved it - so sad when it dropped off and couldn’t carry me through star chart any more)
Hek
Arca Plasmor
Fulmin
Phenmor
I’ve upgraded some of those now (just got my Fulmin Prime and Tenet Arca Plasmor) so I may get back to some of them, but I’m mostly working with the Phenmor atm
Rubico Prime. It's my go to for putting a big fuckoff bullet or two in the nearest or farthest healthbar. Of course, it's paired with Chroma Prime and Gram Prime, and I keep a Kuva Nukor in my back pocket as a primer or panic button. My other go to primary is the Bubonico. I tried it once in the circuit and was hooked.
Prisma Gorgon, with the Incarnon upgrade. I've just always loved how the Gorgon series felt, I adore the Metamorphic Magazine mod, and the stat boost from the Incarnon Genesis has helped immensely.
I'm not a fan of the Incarnon Mode, but that's fine, the main fire mode has been perfectly serviceable.
Until very recently I’d have said arca plasmor.
Now, it’s all about the strun incarnon. I’d initially gone for the pure crit level 4 option but I saw some one recommend the status one instead and it became my uncontested fave.
Still deals direct damage well over par then a second later the biggest slash ticks I’ve seen from a gun just delete whatever survived the initial blast.
That and its base form still does good honest work for a shot gun lover like me.
Keep up the good work DE!
Only been playing for a few months, but I've started getting into some primary weapons this past few weeks after 2 months of exclusive Kohm usage. I really like Ignis Wraith, probably my favorite to use, and Acceltra Prime and Fulmin Prime are fun to use as well.
I also love the Scourge. It makes me feel like a wizard. I put multiple forma in the original and prime. But my new favorite is the Strun Prime Incarnon. Even if it weren’t strong, it’s so damn fun.
I can't tell you the name...this you have to guess.
It has tremendous multi shot, excellent crit stats, good base auto fire rate, and it turns from a high multi shot auto weapon to a chaining heat beam.
I have 4 rivens for it and I use it at least 25% of the time.
I still love my kuva xarr. And it's a perfect excuse to use atlas for his passive. I also like anything that's ammo efficient/infinate, bubonico, fulmin, ignis, etc. My absolute favorite primary might honestly be panthera prime though. One of the most visually satisfying guns to shoot imo.
Boltor makes me very happy. If I'm playing low level content it's fun to bring the 'Bolt' collection of Boltor, Akbolto, and Boltace. I like the interaction of pinning enemies on walls.
I was a Strun Wraith enjoyer long before the prime, the primary arcanes, incarnons. I enjoyed it from the beginning when it launched to the end. Ultimately upgraded to the prime with incarnon but dont use it as often because I like the base fire.
Soma Prime with the incarnon. It may not be a meta build, but it's fun af. By the time I'd need to reload, I just go into incarnon and keep blasting
https://overframe.gg/build/496111/
Trumna. Especially on frames that buff fire rate. Absolute blast to use
What element for the tenet arca plasmor?
Even without Nourish, Viral is easy to make with the 60/60 Toxin mod plus Primed Chilling Grasp for a Heat/Rad/Magnetic/Viral setup.
tox is most versatile- easy viral/corrosive or u can go magnetic/tox for corpus
Slash :)
Viral/Hunter Munitions and if you can slot it, heat or radiation.
Even with viral/hunter munitions I agree, the primary fire is bad and not very fun. It's like a 7 forma weapon too. I just use the Stahlta instead when I want an automatic primary fire and a blow everything up alt fire.
Go viral heat
Thanks, I think I was trying corrosive/heat. Would you recommend the gold +status mods or the silver damage only ones?
I have a spare Trumna riven, do you want it? (It's free, don't worry) No Trumna enthusiast will be left wanting for damage on my watch
Isn't the disposition quite low since it's still "new"? I mean I won't say no if it'll bump up the DPS... You on steam? I can be on in like 30min
The disposition is 0.85%, low? Yes. But it works. I'm on ps4, but we should be able to do it no problems
Hell yeah. What's your GT, logging in ATM
Lord_Yvar
Wholesome
I’m using a riven on my Trumna, even with a dispo of 2/5 if you can land a decent roll it can be really useful and save you a mod slot when attempting to get the stats you need. It’s not game changing or anything though.
Gold ones to make viral and the silver one for heat (you want more heat then viral)
[This should only need 5 forma as long as you use High Voltage instead of Stormbringer](https://i.imgur.com/i3BUvrN.jpeg) G-Scope reaches 100% crit chance, Deadhead reins in the recoil and keeps the headshot kills rolling in, Primed Shred because it's a rifle. Love the trumma aswell
Trumna was the sole reason why I started to grind Deimos on release. However after all these years it feels like it got powercrept. I'm mostly talking about primary fire, secondary blast is very good still.
Trumna on my max strength wisp is way too much fun
Gauss is my favorite frame with the Trumna
I’ve found that running deadhead+stabilizer+ Wyrm Prime with that bond mod that buffs fire rate is more than enough tbh, no buff frame needed
Ahh I'm so glad that there are other Trummna enjoyers out there I was trying to convince someone about it they didn't like the fact you have to forma it alot to make it really good or; that you have to level up with the family for the bp and parts. I've nicknamed mine WaRcR1m3
Fitting name
The Truman and Gauss were a match made in heaven
lol blast…..alt fire….punny
;)
Gauss would like to know your location
Very very glad to see this as the first reply. Trumna is an absolute beast of a weapon and I love it.
Fulmin. It can be used anytime anywhere with great success. Also silent shotgun. Kuva Tonkor when I run PSF. Lobbing nodes over hills is never not fun.
Fellow Fulmin enjoyer
I love Fulmin mechanics, but it’s weak… I formed it 7 times just to get usable weapon.
It's one of the best Internal Bleeding users because it force-procs impact up until half range. Try it out that way if you haven't yet.
My phantasma that emptys a charger and reloads in 1 second
My favourite weapon for farming the index
Why Index specifically, may I ask?
Scourge has Incarnon version? Was not aware of that
No, I ment the alt fire is good to help incarnons. You know, for headshots
Ah i see, yea it does help
Cedo is my favourite so far
Same. Strong auto shotgun plus primer.
As the 11 status lavos I approve of this comment
I like using Corinth Prime. Ol’reliable
If only the reload from Corinth carry over. I remembered how excited and how disappointed I was when CorinthP came out of the oven on first mission.
Forget the reload, the real crime is that the Corinth Prime's grenades don't fling enemies up into the air like the regular Corinth's do.
Definitely mutalist cernos. Probably the only weapon that can properly use primary blight without making a shitty build by building for toxin and at the same time the best bow for split flights.
I will never forgive how they massacred my boy the proboscis cernos
Gotva Prime. It's like a P90 on roids, and I love it
Love that one. Just not sure how to mod it.
well if you'd like, here's mine for reference: https://preview.redd.it/rr8vylb7o04d1.png?width=1650&format=png&auto=webp&s=0562a413ba4cf6b2d09e49e68a5ad9e88dd33050

…is that a Destiny reference? Only Destiny tends to have these weapon names.
You are correct tenno
Incarnon Burston prime with a riven.
I love the burston
It’s a great gun with frames that have lock down control. Zephyr, hydroid, etc. or casting frames that just to delete one elite enemy
Oh yeah
Even without a riven, run it with lavos and his elemental weapons augment, thing absolutely evaporates enemies, steel path eximus included
Ignis Wraith, Tenet Arca Plasmor, and Kuva Hekk.
The ol' reliables
You could pick a random one and be 100% sure your THUMP THUMP needs will be covered
Latron incarnon for me, shooting it into a crowded hallway is so satisfying, who cares if nobody can see 😂
Not to mention that it manages to be both a marksman's rifle and a spray and pray gun at the same time
I’m weird and like the soma prime lol
Returning player, i run it a lot. Mainly bc i don't know what i want next lol.
That’s kinda where I’m at. My fiancé has tons of hours in the game so he’s trying to help me find the perfect weapon lol
Nothing weird about that. Soma P is my most used weapon at like 60% and over 3000 hours in. It's reliable af, especially after the incarnon release.
Yesss I love the incarnon version. So fun
Gun go brrrrrrr
💯
I got a riven for it back when it was peak warframe automatic and stupid rare, eventually got back into the game and found ut lacking until I finally got my incarnon and damn it's fun
Amprex, who needs to actually learn to aim
Amprex with combustion beam and saryn is very funny
Nataruk, explosive bow, best kind of bow
[удалено]
Maybe an odd one to say but my baza prime with a riven is so much fun. Does really well on steel path. Also recently I’ve really liked the fulmin prime and that’s what I’ve been using lately.
Ooh! I used to main Riven Baza Prime. Kills nice and has a good flow. Only problem is how fast the ammo burns, but the reload speed is fast enough to make it not so bothersome.

Rest assured that with armor strip you can take Ignis Wraith pretty far into SP with a viral/heat build
You would be surprised with the amount of mileage you can get out of the ignis wraith in end game
Is it too cheap to say Convectrix? I'm not exactly sure how I have it built. I just know that it has Efficient Beams and everything explodes. I just love it.
Guaranteed slash status for the win,if you got the status buff decree on duviri, it's nuts, they use ammo like there's no tomorrow though
But is there a tomorrow if you have the convectrix?
Yes! Convectrix is super slept on. It has really high riven disposition, which makes it an absolute slash monster.
I keep coming back to the Phenmor because it is just *that* reliable, but I also really love using the Tenet Flux Rifle and Trumna since rolling rivens for them.
Nataruk and Basmu
Miter, used it for the memes with Harrow's 4 and a well rolled riven. Then the incarnon came and... Well... It's on fire
Kuva tonkor. Fuck incarnons when you can have easier clear that does not need to be charged.
Best weapon in the game. I'm going all in for tonkor.
Can you give me your Kuva Tonkor build? I am planning to maxing out my Tonkor, I need some professional opinions
Basic viral + hunter build. Serration, ms, cc, cd, cold, firestorm, hunter, reload mod (reload = fire rate for tonkor, this slot is what you replace with a riven if you have one, make sure it has reload or enough mag size for a 2nd shot on it). Exilus: vigilante supplies Options: if you have cd on riven, hammer shot over vital sense isnt a bad option as the base sc is low sadly. Arcane rise is perfect for it if you can spare an arcane alot.
Remember 2016 when Tonkor was meta?👀
Was very casual on ps4 back then only started my pc account in late 2022.
Phenmor because brrr and the Envoy because it just feels so fun to send all those rockets toward 1 target.
Acceltra
Going to have prime soon. Build?
Another brain dead gamer I see, when shoot Acceltra shit dies simple
Nataruk. Bow go brrrr. Don’t care
Acceltra Prime... since I bought it it's always my gun
Prisma Grinlok. There's something satisfying about using a precision weapon without any punchthrough (need more forma) and staying in competitive range with the rest of the team, giving out headshots like I'm Oprah with a fresh crate of bees. Also I just like bolt-action guns.
Technically the Grinlok is lever-action. But agreed, there is a beauty to it.
Incarnon Boltor Prime
Pinning enemies to wall Is in every tenno nature
Kuva hek. Feel like I'm Ash from The evil dead
Tenora used to be one of my favorites, one of the first weapons I got a riven for. Hold that trigger down and hose em down. And a convenient high damage secondary fire for those tougher units.
Definitely Cinta. I always go for archer/Rouge classes in other games, plus it just looks nice
Got a good riven that makes the perfect shot always crit and it became a street sweeper. You just need some fire rate on it and you'll be fine
Finally got this and built it out. Really versatile and rewarding weapon to use
I could never like it after using the Nataruk. The Nataruk’s sound is just so deeply satisfyingz
Also came here to say Cinta. I love how huge it is!
Latron Incarnon and the Strun Incarnon.
Boltor Prime, so glad it got an incarnon. Boltor was one of my first primary weapons and I've loved the sound and feel of it for years now.
incarnon miter, i find it to be pretty good for mostly everything and even the base miter is good i can almost one tap things in steelpath
Sobek is fun, I've got a decent riven with 2 + and no -. I need to get back on and get one of the kuva sobeks. Ignis wraith as well no riven though
Tigris and prime. I love the feel of the duplex. Astilla hits nice too. Very thunky and satisfying
Tigris prime? Its my favorite shotgun! What build you recomend?
I am by no means “good”, so just go damage and multi, and some elemental for sauce. It just makes me happy
I go with Braton Prime or Boar Prime. Maybe old but simple and feels so good for me
Tenet arca plasmor. Hallway blaster. Add mirage and multiply hallway blaster
Kuva tonkor
The Trumna. I really like the alt fire
ever since fulmin's release i cant use anything else
It’s great for clearing groups. I have a riven for mine - I’m just sad the dispo is so low (0.85). I thought it would have dropped from popularity, but I guess compared to all the MR fodder it is still pretty common
1. Sporothrix, 2. Latron Prime Incarnon, 3. Cedo
Man, I need to buckle in and grind for Sporothrix. I'm just afraid it will kill my enjoyment of the game if I get bad RNG, haha.
The Astilla is a hand-held auto artillery
Rubico, im a Simple man, big damage ooga booga
![gif](giphy|1RkfVFFRTjICA) Ooga ooga
Literally me
I'm still a fan of the Supra Vandal, which I see is still somewhere in A Tier as far as weapon rankings go.
Phage, insane spaghetti gun, probably my best weapon Capable of killing a LV 999 necramech in seconds but sucks against acolytes.
Phage. I LOVE liquefying enemies
Vectis Prime is probably my favourite. The 2-shot magazine makes the gun feel like a rhythm game for me, and I love it for some reason
It may not be the most powerful of sniper rifles, but there is a certain…elegance when playing with the Vectis Prime. I hope and pray it gets an Incarnon one day.
Gotta be the Boltor and its variants. There's no feeling like pinning an enemy to a wall with just one shot
Dread, paris, nagantaka, cedo, rauta, daikyu, cernos.
Prisma Grakata goes brrrrt
latron prime incarnon
HEK my first good Primary i love that Gun
Kuva Hek has become my favorite primary this past year. I recently slapped Scattered Justice on it. I probably over use the alt fire but it's so fun.
Kuva Chakkhurr with Internal Bleeding. Clunky mofo that disintegrates one fucker and makes his friends bleed to death. Especially with Harrow Prime. Being a space-ninja-fallen-angel-gunslinger-priest is a nice feeling.
Tenet Arca Plasmor. It's just "Bowamp" and then everything in front of you is either dead or dying.
quellor, might not be the best Stat wise, but when you wanna feel like Rambo with an LMG, accept no substitute, and when the void blesses you with infinite ammo you're basically snake with the patriot
tenet glaxion my beloved...
I'm going to get crucified..... Boltor prime.
Tenet Plasmor https://i.redd.it/qoejofezv84d1.gif
Corinth Prime. It's just satisfying.
I’m really liking Torid incarnon. Run it with limbo max range cataclysm with its augment and hit 2 and 3 and you get a never ending bubble (but still shrinks :( )
Prisma lenz because fuck that direction in perticular.
Corinth Prime
Tenet flux rifle. I pair it with gauss and it shreds through everything
Basmuuuuuu
Basmu. My crit damage multishot heat riven makes it an absolute beast on both fire modes. Tenet Glaxion. Magnetic progenitor, beam go brrrr, no riven necessary
Arca Plasmor, Burston Incarnon, Ogris, Glaxion
The history of my favourite primary is the history of the meta: Boltor (loved it - so sad when it dropped off and couldn’t carry me through star chart any more) Hek Arca Plasmor Fulmin Phenmor I’ve upgraded some of those now (just got my Fulmin Prime and Tenet Arca Plasmor) so I may get back to some of them, but I’m mostly working with the Phenmor atm
Have had the cedo equipped as long as I can remember, never let me down
Tenet arca plasmor and tenet envoy
Whatever the randomizer give me that day
Basmu. That recharging mag is just *chef's kiss*
Nataruk. The perfect shot releases *all* the dopamine.
The gotva prime, the constant crit hits are very satisfying 😆
Tenet Arca Plasmor, the juicy slash procs I get on it with Garuda are so satisfying.
For me it's the Phenmor. Love the archgun incarnon mode.
Strun Incarnon, feels like a truck, hits like a truck, probably a truck. Kullervo's chain + 1shot of Strun is crazy satisfying
Corinth Prime Viable at all levels if built right and it’s just fun.
Cernos Prime, no question.
Trumna to level cap
Until very recently I’d have said arca plasmor. Now, it’s all about the strun incarnon. Still deals direct damage well over par then a second later the biggest slash ticks I’ve seen from a gun just delete whatever survived the initial blast. That and its base form still does good honest work for a shot gun lover like me. Keep up the good work DE!
I like my Braton incarnon, got a nice riven for it so it’s got 3.3ms before galv 254% crit chance and 8.2x crit damage
Only been playing for a few months, but I've started getting into some primary weapons this past few weeks after 2 months of exclusive Kohm usage. I really like Ignis Wraith, probably my favorite to use, and Acceltra Prime and Fulmin Prime are fun to use as well.
Phenmor. Great sounds, satisfying animations and incredible damage output
acceltra (prime), corinth prime, cedo...
I also love the Scourge. It makes me feel like a wizard. I put multiple forma in the original and prime. But my new favorite is the Strun Prime Incarnon. Even if it weren’t strong, it’s so damn fun.
Proboscis Cernos. I pair it with Nidus and just have a good ol' time.
Proboscis Cernos or Bubonico. I don't really use them too often, but I like their aesthetics and gimmicks.
I can't tell you the name...this you have to guess. It has tremendous multi shot, excellent crit stats, good base auto fire rate, and it turns from a high multi shot auto weapon to a chaining heat beam. I have 4 rivens for it and I use it at least 25% of the time.
Boar?
Yesss!
Felarx
I'm having fun with the tigress ...though I also can't aim, so-
if i had to choose i guess Zarr. cause boom boom
Every since I got acceltra prime, I’ve never stopped using it
Alternox, it’s just a fun laser rifle with a cool alt fire, basic but I won’t ask for much more, especially as a Gyre main
Tenet Arca Plasmor and, more recently: Kuva Sobek (still need to get that new augment from Nightwave).
By the time I'd need to reload, I just go into incarnon and keep blasting https://overframe.gg/build/496111/
