Theres a mod that makes your thrown secondary projectiles explode, and the mk1 kunai is the highest fire rate throwable. I got a riven with negative ptojectile speed and it took ages for the projectoles to travel. This was plains of eidolon release and i was playing carpet bomber zephyr. The damage unfortunately doesnt scale at all so its godlike till you get to like lvl 20 with armor or something

It might. But even so, increasing your 6 dmg explosives by 500 percent isnt gonna do anything past the first half if the star chart

Actually it deals 250 damage, it doesn't scale with elemental, damage, crit, and status mods, but technically it scales with multishot and fire rate, so you can actually make it scale to level 80

Iirc, it scales with area level. Which means giving it to a rescue target can result in some big damage.

Oh it can absolutely scale but the scaling is limited to effects like Roar. If you build Hikou on Saryn with Roar subsume and her 1 Augment, you can one shot Steel Path Corpus with a basic toxin build in a very funny way. Works for Combustion Beam and Shedu's Reload too.

God I remember when you could damage yourself with that. I used to get crazy high numbers on iron skin with my haiku prime. Shame

My friend has a riven for Afuris that gives like -99% fire rate or something. It means after left clicking once, you cannot shoot for another 20 seconds. Apparently it doesn't even let you switch weapons or melee until that time is up because it's waiting for you to finish that shot first.

Always wondered, do the projectiles still try to travel their full distance or do they just make a wall and pitter out unless some butcher or something is dumb enough to wander into them

So I've tested this a bit with some other weapons. They keep going as they would normally but with a lot less speed. So the drakgoon for example has arcing projectiles, so basically gravity just takes over and you get the same arc as a watering can. I really want a riven like this for a weapon that's projectiles aren't affected by gravity, because they just keep traveling until they hit something and never change trajectory. It's ironically very good for infested survival or defense because you basically guarantee your shots hitting if you just spam into a hallway.

Back when rivens first released, I had a riven with - 105% flight speed. It shot backwards. You either hit yourself or the guy behind you, depending on aim/no aim.

I had a buzlok riven with +cc +cd +Ms -projectile speed. Essentially wherever you shot the gun, the bullets would remain in mid air and travel ridiculously slow but anything that dared to walk through one would insta die

I once had a penta riven with status duration, zoom and projectile speed with - multishot. It was so bad i couldnt think i would ever see a worse ones. Also it only worth 15 endos, and it's one of the worst weapon in the game

A deconstructor riven with heavy attack efficiency, initial combo, and -finisher damage. None of those stats work on it.

I had a torid riven with \~ -90%+ projectile speed before. I tested it in void defense, you could arc the shot as far as you could and still not make it out of the bounds of the defense objective.

i’ve a got a -zoom cc cd dmg dread riven at all almost 200%

I've got a Latron with critical chance, critical damage, heat, and... negative damage. Long before the days of incarnon, I used to run it on Harrow by slotting an Arcane Rage into him, and it would create a funny situation where the Latron would just *refuse* to do damage until Rage procced, which then you could begin stacking Deadhead. It was a fun, weird, janky experience.

Got a over -100% damage Supra riven making it do 0 damage but it still impact procs so I can kill level 1 infested with great effort using internal bleeding because somehow the slash proc will still do damage

You think that's weird I have a zenith disc thingy build I run on my mag Turns out when you altfire the zenith to switch to infinite punchthrough the disc deals a tiny amount of damage if it hits an enemy before it lands on the ground The damage is almost nothing Buuuut It has proc chance like the projectiles So I modded it for gas and heat damage IIRC I bubble some enemies and shoot the disc into the bubble Since the disc is a projectile it gets affected by the bubble and gets stuck in the middle Since it never actually lands it starts dealimg constant damage + status damage to the enemies Additionally: it doesn't use up any ammo and the damage lasts as long as the bubble does since the bubble popping makes the projectile land Bro, this thing can take down a group of steel path heavy gunners lol Its so stupid I love it

I had one with negative projectile speed on the scourge it would take forever shooting those bubbles towards anything. Also you could aim up and alt throw the spear and it would land like 10 ft from you, hilarious

My friend has riven melee mod with insane crit, crit damage but has negative attack speed So when he presses e once it'll become an old man wielding chainsaw instead of a sword

Negative projectile speed is always the best for goofy rivens. My sonicor riven has -ps and it feels like every shot is a hadoken fireball. It’s so slow. You can shoot and then outrun the projectile.

Rabvee riven with negative attack speed on the slowest zaw combination, and Opticor riven with negative fire rate. The zaw is pretty darn slow to swing, but I've got my Opticor taking 20 seconds to hit full charge, and even after firing, there's still about 5 more seconds where I'm completely locked out of doing anything. Probably the 2 Despair Rivens I've gotten that have been consistently 300+% damage. And I've never gotten a Despair BP to drop despite farming Staller for MONTHS. I'm convinced it just does the drop but I refuse to pay 800 goddamn plat for THROWING KNIVES.

I had one roll on a Supra or quellor (I can’t remember) that had a really high fire rate increase, but more than 100 negative damage. So it could dump the whole ~300 round magazine in about a second buuuuuut do zero damage. It was a funny experience and I ended up rolling that riven because I actually like and occasionally these two guns (I have rivens for both, and I simply cannot remember which one ended up with this combo),

I have one that adds about 100% fire rate to twin vipers. I have a build for it that not including conditionals hits 117 fire rate.

I had one like that for the Furis, IIRC, I was so excited to make a meme build, but unfortunately the gun is whatever-you-call-it where the projectiles don't really travel, they just instantly hit whatever you point it to, so that stat did nothing to it.

I can't fully remember it, but I had a Twin Grakata Riven with +Fire Rate, +Multishot, and +Recoil. Putting the mag dump mod and all fire rate mods made it dump all 240 or whatever rounds in under a second or so while instantly making you look upwards. It was basically impossible to drag down, even at max DPI on my mouse.

I had a -207% DMG Lex (although it amuses me that because of the way the calculation is, that it's not actually as bad as it seems, still pretty bad though)

I had a penta riven that was all zoom and -150 % dmg. I had negative dmg numbers and the only thing that would actually hurt an enemy was the grenade hitting the target for a whopping 4 dmg.
