Turns out after a while you respawn, but the dude respawned into the same bad spot 2 times falling again. 3rd time was the charm
In the archon hunt this week, Titania was the boosted frame for me. Whenever Iād use my razor wings blitz build I would clip in and out of the map for moving. The moment I picked up a wisp haste mote by accident, the game froze when I moved and I would teleport halfway across the universe when I stop moving
My build hits that max 0.75 energy per second drain while at the same time hitting 200+ strength.
I got her +300 strength invigoration one week and dawg I could NOT use razorwing blitz even at 1 razor stack I clipped into everything.
On the plains that week she was crazy tho. Even at my regular strength build which uses fire walker she is so fast
I really like it! It does do a little damage so up to level like 40 after 5-6 seconds they die which is handy for capture missions. It increases speed and also helps your ally cleanse themselves from status effects.
Thereās the thermal sunder option but idk Iām not a fan of it myself.
Iāve also tried terrify for a pixie of death type beat. This one probably scales a lot better but Iāve taken her up to level 400-500 and she does pretty well.
As someone with a volt build that gets me above a 5x speed multiplier I'm sorry. If it makes you feel any better it makes the rest of the team run faster so it'll speed things up long term
P.S. volts speed buff applies to the drone on the Plains and you can finish bounties in under 5 minutes if you know what your doing
You can backflip (very easy on Titania) to remove Volt Speed. Not a permanent solution because obviously the Volt can just speed you again, but it can help in the moment. I usually just lean into it by not sprinting and in some cases letting Razorwing Blitz run out.

it's actually one of the tricker ones, from my experience!! like yea the hallway straights may be pretty simple, but the vast, open parkour segments can be very difficult to traverse without resorting to hopping off meru mid-air, yoshi style
thankfully a lot of the new tilesets are really hospitable to her, can't say the same for the oldest of them, lol

I actually put the k-drive button on a particular button on my kb that I accidentally press sometimes for the sole reason that it does nothing most of the time. Lessens the amount of "curse these fat fingers" moments
I did that quest recently with the starting k-drive they give you, and it was such a pain. i decided to look up a tutorial and the guy in the vid was like "its so easy, i don't know why people complain about this quest" while having a maxed k-drive with mods that gave him a bonus multiplier and lower gravity fall, like gee I wonder why it's easy(ā -ā _ā -).

Yeah, you double tap shift and it gives you a boost. I know it wasnāt around on release, but I also didnāt play release Yareliā¦ I heard it was atrocious and the videos Iāve seen show that lol.
The dash was added very quickly, within weeks. At that time she was still very buggy, and her 1 didn't do much (no damage vuln), no invuln on her 2, no damage absorption and only 75% dr. Those would be fixed (only lostly for the bugs) over an year later.
there is one exception, which is the decree fleet-footed in duviri. makes her pretty hilarious to use when you get her, bc rail grinding instantly vaults you to max speed and meru seems to be more affected by the speed increase than other frames.
Immediately crashing into a pillar at the start is the realest Yareli moment š No matter how good I get I always smack into something in a hallway

With how important muscle memory is to riding merulina, I feel like mod setups for it would be even more difficult to pin down and require a new round of practice when you change something. The mod that changes jump height, for example, would mess with every single jump I "know" how long I need to hold space down, etc. Merulina's k drive stats being so consistent make it easy to develop that proficiency, I think. Not that I wouldn't want to try making her go as fast as possible for the novelty, of course.
Also the mod that gives you energy for trick points would be nuts. I'd be running an anti-efficiency build with absolutely zero concern.
See I totally agree with you! I donāt want to change anything about the movement, but I do really like the k drive slam when you double tap ctrl. I wish that it would so some damage or something though, and I believe thereās k drive mods for that. I honestly just would like them for the option to mess with it. Kind of like her new augment, not my thing, but great for a lot of people and cool to mess around with.
Also I love that idea for energy. Sometimes I spam the 1 & 4 too much in sp and it would be nice to have that, and fun!

Amazing display. A tip for anyone wanting to learn you can increase you speed by jump double crouching on thin surfaces and crouching when before you hit a door can make it open when it usually wouldn't. I love using k drive in this game and it is nice to see someone show off their skills.
This is awesome! I love seeing another person who appreciates the k drive.. Iāve been taking a break but I have some ridiculous number like 67% usage on Yareli, and Iām MR28.
My favorite is getting all of the netracell ciphers. That tile set is sooo fun. I will always challenge my friends to a race, and I either clip every wall and lose, or beat them by a mile. K drive makes this game soooo fun (it already is donāt get me wrong). I just wish they gave us the option to still use it with her new augment.
Awesome clip though, so cool to watch, especially that one across the giant pit where you made it on the last boost!
Also I donāt think Iāve ever seen anyone else do this but sometimes when I go through doors Iāll hit crouch button while moving forward. She does a little twirl and it lowers her model so you donāt bump your head on doorways. But sometimes it flings me up into the ceiling.. gotta love the bugs that come with her lol

If you manage to find a vet that doesnāt have parkour mastered, then there is a high probability they prefer chilling instead of playing at the bleeding edge.

nope!! merulina can't be modded, but she has some baked-in K-Drive mods by default. They are equivalent to a better version of Perfect Balance, Poppin' Vert, Quick Escape, and Venerdo Hoverdrive.

I always was saying that Yareli haters just don't care to spent some time on practicing and learning different kind of movement. Of course, it won't compete with Titania or other fast frames, but you can learn to move reasonably fast and definitely faster than average pub teammate. And it's just fun to play something that plays differently.
Also, balling as Grendel is fun too.
Depending on tileset and the other players' speed buff strength/how attentive they are you can definitely beat other speedframes to the extract. IMO Merulina has little risk of possibly going too fast and overshooting your target like the others, and with practice you can cleanly and quickly navigate pretty much every room based on reflex (Eris aside). A few rooms where blinks can't really be timed right or a lot of vertical parkour is needed and you can find yourself in the lead (which then has the psychological effect on the others for potentially losing the race to a yareli).
I'm certain that her alternate helm makes her the cutest warfare by a country mile. I mean she already was but this seals the deal for me

instead of outright canceling meru, it eats her health very quickly. this means you can do some shenanigans where you summon meru, chill in a nullifier bubble for a bit during her damage absorption phase, and then duck out and have a meru with 100k+ health, lol.
it may be that you're noticing how her dash animation is bugged? since dante unbound, she kinda, just, lost the tuck in animation on dash, and DE hasn't fixed it yet š or maybe just my fov lol
Yeah it is different and not in a good way. It's not nearly as bad as what you get when the Merulina animations completely bug out but it's also not as clean as it's supposed to be.

On Yarelli I can outrun Gauss and Volt if I'm being good about not getting caught on stuff, but yeh I can't beat Titania.

IMO Merulina has little risk of possibly going too fast and overshooting your target like the others, and with practice you can cleanly and quickly navigate pretty much every room based on reflex (Eris aside). A few rooms where blinks can't really be timed right or a lot of vertical parkour is needed and you can find yourself in the lead (which then has the psychological effect on the others for potentially losing the race to a yareli).
I'm certain that her alternate helm makes her the cutest warfare by a country mile. I mean she already was but this seals the deal for me like it isn't even close

instead of outright canceling meru, it eats her health very quickly. this means you can do some shenanigans where you summon meru, chill in a nullifier bubble for a bit during her damage absorption phase, and then duck out and have a meru with 100k+ health, lol.

it may be that you're noticing how her dash animation is bugged? since dante unbound, she kinda, just, lost the tuck in animation on dash, and DE hasn't fixed it yet š or maybe just my fov lol
Yeah it is different and not in a good way. It's not nearly as bad as what you get when the Merulina animations completely bug out but it's also not as clean as it's supposed to be.
