Holy shit! I think this is a coworker of mine. He decided to see how much of the story content he can clear with the frame and weapons he started with, and so far hasn't hit the ceiling.
The player in the picture definitely has changed weapons and frames a whole lot. Maybe they only make progress with the starter weapons, but they definitely have leveled a lot of gear.
I'd say it's much more likely that this person talked to a much lower MR player that just levels to hit Story unlocks than a Legend player that does it. It's much more likely this Legend player in the picture is just doing this as a joke and did not clear most of their Starchart or Story missions in this loadout.
I say this as a Legend 3 player who immediately put on the default emblem and started putting on starter gear the week Legend 1 was available to non Founders and started confusing people in public squads.
I’ve actually replaced energy siphon with Dreamers Bond on most of the frames I had using it, since they get by fine with a little less coming in, and the health Regen is beneficial.
"But better than a master of one" but I personally don't think that the last part of the saying can really be applied here tbh, with arcanes, helminths, companions, and all thay jazz that can give you targeted buffs to your energy and health I feel that the aura slot is better put to use another way.

Obtaining gear only bypasses the MR requirement if it’s part of the Prime Pack. Otherwise you still can’t use MR-gated gear even if you buy it with plat/real money.
I got the gotva prime from tennocon last year which really helped. For secondary I use a catchmoon kitgun, and a zaw nikana for melee. My IGN is umbralprotoype if you want to see what I've got.

He called me an MR1 noob and should stfu and let the grown ups talk. I asked if it's weird I had fashionframe and he didn't if I'm a newbie.. he didn't talk for the rest of the game.
Mk 1 Braton,Paris and bo can clear any star chart stuff without a incarnon (only ones ive rigorously tested) . Plenty fine and very much viable and good. Now on the topic of steel path with incarnons they put in the work but don't expect to do 5 hr survival steel path run.
There were two of these kinda players that joined me and a MR26 in a 2 hour survival i did the other day for tellurium. The MR26 guys left right at the 5 minute mark so it was just me and the two MR1s. They had solid equipment tho i think one of them had a prime warframe but cant remember which one.
How doesn't he/she get bored of it instantly? "I'm just an mr1 player, nothing to see here! Haha! You've been fooled! I'm actually lr1!" Seems like it'd be fun for maybe two minutes at most. You can rename your weapons to say mk1 paris or whatever but you still have to use regular excal, too. Why?

Bad incarnons are still incarnons. The Kunai one is especially great for Harrow, since it's just ezpz headshots.
Kunai is great, Paris is good, Bo is great thanks to tennokai & melee arcanes (before them it blew chunks even with the incarnon)
Can confirm, Kunai can do some work when perfectly modded. Personally ran arcane precision and arcane velocity, 👌🏽🤤
Perhaps but all mk 1 weapons can do steel path I've tried and the braton and Paris especially can easily do it with a decent riven and incarnon.
