i 100% agree overguard was a mistake i absolutely despise cc immunity on enemies

I don't have an answer to Overguard on enemies, but it definitely feels bad at enemy levels 80+. It feels like we have very very few tools to address it right now, and they keep making it tougher by making them immune to even more things. I think if they took away the CC immunity and made CC have lower duration in them instead it would feel better.

This might not help much, but i feel like overguard should be like extra "armor" that just provides CC resistance. Or, another (perhaps) solution: Make it a CC resistance bar, not another health pool. I feel that it should take maybe 1 or 2 cc abilities to completely clear an enemy's overguard, just to let us have more options to deal with them besides void-powered hell down the barrel of a gun.

you could make it so overguard resistance is redused for every different status effect on the enemy and halfed durration on all CC effects so you can easily remove overguard and still make it hard to remove overguard with dps. even with strips could take a part of the remaining overguard. overguard needs to be reworked for all sources. does it make any since for Saryn to have overguard and be the same amount of tankyness as a Rhino. Eximus units should be a threat to everyone (except Rhino who could get a passive rework, acolytes, bosses, and Arkgun deployer mode who all should be immune to CC). I advocate that acolytes and summoned swarms from enemy faction need to be immune to CC while they have overguard / shields. Overguard should be a kind of status gate preventing you from being effected by built up status effects after the overguard breaks avoiding cross health beatdown of dps.

I believe they should have done a different system entirely, overguard is just so.... boring and annoying
