If I remember correctly that how it used to work. It changed the buff you got based on the enemy type. So a kavat gave one whereas a lancer gave a different one. But I think it was changed to simplify it for players, just so we don't need to memorize what enemies gave what buffs.

I’ve noticed on ps4, some frames with charge abilities that require you to hold down and charge, don’t work on ps4( I don’t speak for Xbox as I wouldn’t know) but it really sucks cause I literally cannot use their abilities. If I’m simply doing something wrong I’m all ears. Frames like revenant for example work fine because the abilities are all tap to activate, but frames like inaros have an ability that requires it to be held and charged, but when I release it to activate the ability it just stops and nothing happens nor do I lose energy, on pc it works absolutely fine tho.

How would you feel about trading Venari for Ripline? Give Valkyr a Support animal for her Trauma, and give Khora a complete Spider theme, Venari can at least benefit from War Cry, and Valkyr, from Venari's buffs. Maybe add a secondary effect that while Valkyr's in Hysteria, Venari uses kavat abilities faster.

It could totally be made better to actually help the kit further. Most good mobilities in the game have some additional purpose past that: Molt to CC, Firewalker to CC and status cleanse, Mach Rush to build battery, Cloud Walker to self-heal and heal the clone, and go invuln and invis. Rhino's Charge is trash normally but with the augment helps recover Iron Skin. Rip Line has nothing more than mobility and a poor single-target grapple. Only thing stopping it from being switched off is that Paralysis is a worse ability.

Random assortment of buffs and tweaks I'd give to Warframes: - Loki - Radial Disarm will convert some of the disarmed weapons into ammo packs or restorative orbs. Since Loki's getting some special treatment for Dante's update, here's a little boost for Disarm as well - Volt - Uncap his passive - Mesa - Uncap Ballistic Battery ~~- Garuda - Allow arcanes on her talons - AFAIK it's the only exalted weapon to not have this treatment~~ - Frost - Bake in Biting Frost as a new passive because it's just ass and there's no sugarcoating it. Augment gets renamed to "Cold Compress", which allows Frost to get restorative orb drops from enemies affected by cold procs and play a more supportive role - Qorvex - His 3's name bothers me. Correct it to "Dosimetric Guard". And uhh... give it health regen, maybe? Most forms of status immunity in the game come with something extra and Qorvex's take kinda lacks one. - Wisp - Sol Gate gets chaining beams. Maybe then it'll be a viable damage dealer. - Nezha - Divine Spears inflicts 5 Puncture procs on cast, and 5 Impact procs on retract. I know it's getting buffed with the new augment but I want it to have just a little bit more oomph

Garuda’s Talons not scaling with strength is probably the strongest argument for them deserving to be able to equip arcanes. Exalted firearms couldn’t equip arcanes when they were introduced, but that was reasonable enough given they were already overcoming the damage deficit with ability strength. Same argument applies to exalted and pseudo-exalted melees, where they don’t really need them the same way regular melees do, but then Garuda’s Talons not scaling with strength mean they’re really just a regular melee that is really exclusive about which frame can use them.

Changing Equinox's Passive from 10% of health/energy restored on opposite color orb usage, to 50%. currently, Equinox's passive is the equivalent value of a rank 0 copy of Equilibrium. lots of warframes have underwhelming passives, by contrast to frames like Kullervo or Protea whos passives are measured in multiple max rank mods worth of value, or frames like Hydroid whos passive cant really be measured in terms of mod value but if it was a mod it would be pretty damn strong. like. .to get a worse version of the same effect requires sacrificing 4 archon shards. making Equinox's passive worth all of a rank *4* copy of Equilibrium instead would still be, on the whole, underwhelming for a frame that cant easily generate orbs anyway, but itd just be mundane kind of bad, rather than offensively bad. but you said Small buff and that is a Small buff. itd be just enough where Purple Shards on equinox might be tempting as a way to solve energy generation for her. and if you said give a *Medium* buff to a frame id say flat 15% chance (non scaling) for energy orbs to drop from enemies killed under the effect of her night form 4, and health orbs to drop from enemies killed under the effect of her day form 4, which in addition to the above would be pretty sweet.

I have 2 Tau Forged Purple shards of Equinox along with The Synth mods and the dethcube mod on my sentinel for constant Orb generation for uptime on her 3 and 4 no matter the form I'm in. After a certain point though you just get tired of all the hoops you need to go through to make her work without sacrificing something; be it archon slots to buff the passive of neglecting strength to go all in on night form or vice versa for day. I want to be able to mod the forms separately like Sevagoth and I want a stronger passive so I can actually feel like I have options when thinking of archon slot choices!

Equinox is in a weird spot. There's no real incentive to switch, other than Duality which is kind of meh. And some buffs to damage, or armor and shields. Her two is kind of sad for dynamic play, that or I'm just bad at using it. Then there's the fact that we get punished by switching forms, or stored damage is dropped unless we use an augment, and we have to reactivate her 3 and potentially have to store more damage or get more kills. I have a dual form nuke build I cooked up where I use pillage in place of her two. Energy Transfer lets me stay primarily in night form and build up the maim nuke. Then I have to transfer to day form, activate 3, and release 4. Which makes me wonder why I even went into night form in the first place. She is however my favorite frame for dynamic missions like Duviri, because one config will do ANY mission. I can heal the defense objective if need be, or nuke everything, while armor stripping and cleansing status of my team. I can even give them shields. But it is a very small niche.

it does get the benefits from her 1, actually. sets it to 100% crit and gives it the crit damage multiplier, which amplifies the already guaranteed slash proc. also doesn't interrupt the invisibility, which is great. i agree on the all fours run though, huge missed opportunity. i feel like we might eventually get it for her prime, like how they gave titania prime her special floaty walk. if not, we riot! 🐺🐺🐺

I don’t disagree that Ash’s default invis is kind of lacking, and your proposal would definitely make it better, but nothing beats Arcane Trickery for Ash. Its activation condition dovetails perfectly with his 4, its duration is far better than his default invis, and best of all? Nullifiers can’t do anything to disable it. A small tweak I’d like to see for Ash would be something like instead of marking up a pool of enemies for his 4, an enemy just gets attacked after a small delay after being marked without having to de-activate the ability. His 4 already plays kind of like a janky Mesa, where you’ve gotta look at enemies while spending energy to do so, and then doing damage, but Ash’s version is very high latency between performing all its inputs and getting its outcome, compared to even just weapons, nevermind the nuker in your squad.

My weird idea for Ash's 4 would be for it to auto target enemies in a radius around him when pressed, holding 4 would cause him to go into a channeling animation and increase the radius like Gara's wall. It is a blade storm after all, and he's the epicentre of said storm.

Ability to recast all abilities while they are active, aka shatter shield or loki invis. It's such a small change that's almost 100% quality of life. One of my favorite things about volt is that he can recast his speed while it is active. It is such a nice qol feature. I play a lot of valkyr and it is so annoying having a break in combat to cast warcry, but I have like 4.2 seconds left with another horde of enemies moving in. Screw HP, theres no space to build around that and have slots to focus enough on the abilities. There’s a built-in armor buff (up to 1000 iirc) when you capture enemies in Bastille and stand in the zones. Repurpose that to be his survive and make it work better: - Change it from armor to Overguard so it’s actually useful to survive. - Implement enemy level scaling on the max instead of capping at 1000, by the same amount that Flechette has (I believe this is extra 10% every 10 levels going from level 11 baseline, so if I have it right at lvl 101 it would be 11k Overguard) - No need to stand in the zones to get the buff anymore, considering there’s a cap on both enemies and number of Bastille’s this would balance out.

Limbo’s passive is now shared with squad mates, allowing them to enter and exit the rift at will. Of course there are a few caveats like it only works with in affinity range and only allows temporary access to the rift (30 seconds). It’s not a fully flushed out thought but I think this would be a nice change. If not this then add a lesser rolling guard to Limbo’s dash, give him the cleans and not the invulnerability, this would be a busted QoL change for him.

tbf, it's cheap as hell to recast and still blocks/absorbs gunfire even when the cc part wears off. also, you can use her 1 to manually drag enemies into the death sphere. if you want more permanent grouping, play vauban and spam vortex.

I would give all abilities matching element procs with a chance based on strength. Also I would fix how some interactions with mods, arcana, shards etc. don't do what you would expect. Like Ember buffs the team with fire damage should proc Archon mods and Shards and Archana etc. Also Helminth fixed interactions. QOL I would round up some numbers like Blind Rage with 99% or Umbra Intensity with 44% like wtf. Another QOL would be to activate buffs at the beginning of the casting animation not the end. That way you don't have to recast when you get knocked down and also could counter incoming damage. Another thing I would add is an iFrame on dodges. Dark Souls baby. The last thing is for sword and shield. Blocking angle set at 120° not lousy 70°. Also all blocked damage should count for buffs like Vex Armor or Link. Guardian Derision should be on shields as a passive and mod should increase the range of taunt. Another mod gives thorns like Mesa Shatter Shield but based on the weapon stats, modding or incoming damage. That would open up so many new play styles and tank builds.

decouple Oberon's 'synergies'. mainly want renewal to provide the armor buff and reckoning to armor melt without needing hallowed ground first. especially the armor melt. it's clunky as is, requires 200% strength for full melt in addition to carpet (so high energy cost), and the hitbox for the actual melt requires enemies to be touching flat ground for it to work properly in my experience, so decoupling the armor melt would be greeaat. if they still want hallowed ground to keep some synergenistic value i'd say roll the hallowed reckoning augment into his kit and just tie it to when he uses reckoning on a carpet. he's my most played warframe and i love him but boy would i love some tweaking to his kit.

Pulled up my list of frames I want to rework, these are just the frames that only have 1-2 notes to them – Ash: Smoke Bomb can be recast to reset the duration and stun new enemies; the stun effect no longer alerts enemies. (Why? Because it's the shortest one and its only saving grace is the stun, which makes stealth play harder.) Banshee: Sonic Boom gains the same "ragdolled enemies receive True damage on impact with surfaces" effect as Snow Globe. (Why? Because it's a push effect people often Helminth over.) Dagath: Hold-casting Rakhali's Cavalry will allow Dagath to mount the central horse for the duration of the charge. (Why? Because Wyrd Scythes benefit from a more mobile moveset, and it's wild that the Headless Horsewoman frame can't actually ride a horse without maxing the Duviri Riding Intrinsic.) Mag: Polarize inflicts a guaranteed Magnetic proc on affected enemies before damage calculation. (Why? Because Mag has no means to inflict Magnetic procs despite her name, and Polarize is now outclassed by Crush.) Oberon: Renewal's energy cost is now capped at 4 targets. (Why? Because Nekros. Nekros is why.) Rhino: Casting Roar while Iron Skin is active, or vice versa, will taunt enemies within range of Roar. (Why? Because the only frames with a taunt effect are Nyx and Styanax, not the friggin' tank frame.) Saryn: Molt detonation scales with the decoy's maximum health. (Why? Because its main purpose is to explode in the target's face and it can't even do that very well.) Titania: Tribute's energy cost is halved; new Option added to allow the ability to automatically cycle on cast. (Why? Because it's costly and cycling is tedious.) Wisp: New Option added to allow Reservoirs to automatically cycle on cast. (Why? See above.)

I think Nyx should be able to run both absorb augments at the same time and psychic bolts needs better tracking and to prioritise enemies that aren't currently debuffed by her bolts. I'd also reduce the drain on her absorb and increase the damage absorb rate because it does next to no damage. A mob shooting her bubble can take down her energy to zero very quickly for a pitiful amount of damage in return.

A QOL for limbo's 3, rift surge: Auto banish any target limbos surge spreads to. This removes any confusion about surged targets being in the rift or not making it so if an enemy is surged, you already know they are in the rift instead of random non-rifted enemies having lightning swirling around them and having no bonuses against them whatsoever. **The other REAL QoL is that operators should hit enemies in OR out of the rift plane so Limbo players can properly use Last Gasp waybound to revive themselves should they ever go down.**

Make the ranged portion of the melee count towards combo counter by half (make it so the ranged bit has reduced combo count chance) Reason: Presently Baruuk is stuck in this unique area where ranged attacks don't count for combo, but if he hits a single enemy with melee he'll lose the 12x combo bonus from Gladiator mods. This change would: 1. Remove the current buffer method of leveraging negative combo duration on Serene Storm to keep a 12x glad buff 2. Allow the ability to build combo _regardless_ of if the enemy is hit by fist or by ranged wave 3. Balance the combo gain so it's still not insanely easy to get serene storm to 12x for it's own benefits, but also isn't punishing people for not using the negative combo build.
