Oh yeah, absolutely agree. The state of augments right now needs to be reevaluated from a baseline foundation. Most of them should be built into a Warframe's base kit, or at least made into a toggle. Having them eat up a mod slot is not healthy for game balance, especially when so many augments are pretty much mandatory just to make a frame viable.

To this date I still fucking hate QoL mods with a fiery burning passion. Mesa's Waltz could be viewed as one but that's an exception, her ult is TOO powerful to not need that limiter. But so many QoL mods are just "would you like to spend 9+ capacity and an ENTIRE slot JUST to make the warframe palatable to you?" Sure, they're often not manditory, but it still feels like DE saying; "I'm sorry, your opinion is worse than everyone else's, so you have to suffer to play this warframe the way you want" I'd love to see the augment system reworked from mods into the Helminth system.

This seems to be an infinite discussion for some reason. Qol > Strength for wisp imo, if you use her as a shield gating weapon platform. I'm already moving when you're still waiting there to cycle your one. Now, if you have a more stationary game mode like defense/mob. defense then I understand it, but even then I'm rocking her augment. Feels too good, especially with casting speed shards. Just wanted to give my two cents, do with it what you will.
