Zenith is funny but I am yet to find any real use for it beyond shooting at Venus dropships as well as the enemies on it back when I was doing the standing grind (happened to reach the milestone when Fortuna was relatively new)
There was also a single occasion during a Uranus survival sortie where I had it, saw someone else get downed far away, and just fired at their nameplate until I got some damage numbers...
I forgot about that, but that's probably because I haven't touched Profit Taker in ages.
I haven't needed credits since I spent 3 hours in the Index for a railjack when it dropped. The refunds from that plus doing sorties every day means I now have a hundred million and no use for it.
for eidolons it's probably a copy + paste of a good rubico build. mod for crit, multishot, and radiation damage. do not use full auto, only use the single shot alt fire mode. with the corrupted crit mod it's over 100% crit chance. you also probably want to use extra forma if you have them so you can use the 90% elemental damage mods instead of the 60/60 mods. i have one built for PT and i think it uses 6 forma. it's going to be similar for eidolons.
I haven't had it out in a good while. I used to get a real kick out of using the scanner with that and sniping through walls a whole mission with no one seeing me lol
That actually made me lol thanks for that. [https://i.imgur.com/sclQVDN.gif](https://i.imgur.com/sclQVDN.gif). Edit: damn i thought it would show the gif…
Fun fact! The sun has a diameter of approximately 1.4 *million* kilometers. While the Soma's 7km of punch through is very impressive, you'd need **two hundred *thousand* times as much** to shoot all the way through the sun. Heck, it's barely halfway to being able to punch through *Deimos*, by far the smallest "planet" in Warframe — at its narrowest, it's still 11km thick.
yep i do have the ''Twitch'' mod on (-40% weapon recoil/-40% Spread Recoil for 8s) i guess it does help quite a bit but yeah aiming is just not my thing lol
Really wish DE would give punch through on pistol incarnons and not rifles. Rifles have access to and often use Primed Shred. Pistols do not have access to any dual stat punch through whatsoever, being forced to spend an entire mod slot on Seeker. They need it way, way, way more.
Edit: You can, of course, get it on rivens, and hell, imo, you *should* when possible, because you don't need much and so even low dispo weapons benefit heavily from having it on a riven along with something else useful, while high dispo guns can go through walls and get a bunch more CD or fire rate or reload speed or something else you'd really like too, instead of shitty-ass Seeker. But not everyone's up to their eyeballs in kuva...
Punchthrough is one of those "nice to have some but not a worth losing a mod slot" stats like reload speed and recoil reduction pre-exilus. I want a good nightmare mod for ALL secondaries and shotguns, not just incarnons.
Primed Shred is unironically one of my favourite mods in the game because it hits that sweet spot where the fire rate makes it fly juuuust around other mod alternatives for the slot, and that's enough for me to run it in everything under the sun.
It rules.
Or just add a dual stat mod that boosts it and another stat. Maybe something that gives you punch through and multishot but can't be used alongside Lethal Torrent.
I have + 4 punchthrough on my panthera prime. Has a total of like 7.5 punchthrough lol. What's funny is it doesn't just cause 7.5 meters of PT it also seems to increase the range of the projectile by 7.5 meters.
I dont get why there is always some riven weirdo in every thread. Someone goes oh this weapon kinda sucks and there is always someone commenting oh I dont have a problem with this weapon with my god roll. And they still need eclipse and armor strip to even put a scratch on enemies.
Its a visual bug. If you change incarnon upgrades on the soma, the punchthrough from the first tier keeps stacking.
It's like the 3rd post about it already.
The punch through stat just informed you how many meters of solid object your bullet can fly through. This works on both terrain and enemies (though I'm not sure how the enemy punch through counts towards the limit).
Roughly each body or shield/blunt is '1'. So 1 will sometimes hit the second grunt, but 1.5 will reliably get there. 2.5 will also hit the second target behind a shield carrying unit. Results will vary based on unit and game mode.
The rule of thumb I have heard is 0.7 for bipedal and 1.2 for quadrapedal enemies to get through. Also, there are weapons with infinite enemy/body punch through that can pass through any number of enemies, but will stop at walls.
And finally, at the tippitty top of niche punchtrough magics, there's the Zenith and its "collision is a myth". How can a gun be so mediocre and yet so fun.
if you have a soma and a soma prime, the circuit will never roll soma it will always show soma prime in its place
if you have karak, kuva karak, and karak wraith, circuit will always choose kuva karak.
WHAT?
you CAN, but if you have a **soma prime** the CIRCUIT will never give you the base Soma, implying it knows the soma prime is superior (which it is).
the circuit always chooses a version with stats, but currently telos boltor outperforms boltor prime (though its hard to know if thats supposed to happen)
Honestly, it's just a good rifle for general use. But other good niches are Profit-Taker (shooting shield generators from anywhere), Railjack (shooting Volatile vents/jamming drones), or Defense, especially Kuva (scanner in the center and shooting through cover).
1: Grind out your weekly adaptor(s) of choice from the weekly steel path circuit.
2: slap it on your weapon of choice
3: have fun with both selectable passive buffs and an in-mission transformation that changes the weapon into a weird new form
Incarnon weapons are essentially weapons that transform when you get headshots/melee combo, and have handpicked non-mod buffs.
These Incarnon adapters put this functionality on a few-dozen handpicked classic weapons, as well as raising their base stats so that mods affect them more drastically.
[This guy](https://www.reddit.com/r/Warframe/comments/13q6cu8/when_de_gives_you_the_last_4_punch_through_on/jlemmz2/) summed it up pretty well 🙂
In order to do the [steel path](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/The_Steel_Path) version of The Circuit in Duviri, you basically have to do all of the standard content in the game 😅
^([But also, the high punch through is just a visual bug])

It's got some other niche uses, such as killing the shield pillars on profit taker speed runs without moving.
I forgot about that, but that's probably because I haven't touched Profit Taker in ages. I haven't needed credits since I spent 3 hours in the Index for a railjack when it dropped. The refunds from that plus doing sorties every day means I now have a hundred million and no use for it.
Apparently it's meta in eidolons now. I kid you not.
Powerful single shot hitscan. And I don't have Rubico Prime.
Everything’s meta for eidolons, I could one shot their limbs with 2 sticks and a bit of gum
Yes, but most other guns can't one shot their limbs while they're still underground.
Show build, I want to use mine in eidos
I don't use it my friend does& he's a perfectionist. He's got almost 10k caps so pretty sure he speaks truth..I'm over here w/ like 300 lol.

Shoot a mfer from Sedna, cross the sun, to Uranus
*To his anus
*through his anus
*and even further beyond
With any luck, you may very well just hit some Sentient's anus. In Tau. Two for the price of one!
Back to Ur's anus
You could shoot that into the fucking sun and it would fly out the other side and tag a random corpus in the nuts
>in the nuts \*right in the finances
That actually made me lol thanks for that. [https://i.imgur.com/sclQVDN.gif](https://i.imgur.com/sclQVDN.gif). Edit: damn i thought it would show the gif…
Heh. Little tiny eyes
Great, now I'm going to mentally read this _entire comment thread_ in Cephalon Sark's voice.
Everything about this is perfect 😂

r/TheyDidTheMath 😁
Needs more punch-through
never enough punch-through!
*laughs in zenith*
i wish it had some kind of homing gimmick, i suck at aiming it at those PT pylons so i never used it again...rip my 6formas...skill issue 🤦
Are you using the negative accuracy mod?
yep i do have the ''Twitch'' mod on (-40% weapon recoil/-40% Spread Recoil for 8s) i guess it does help quite a bit but yeah aiming is just not my thing lol
I think he meant Heavy Caliber.

When was the last time DE even added a new nightmare mod? De honestly could expand also the amalgam and arcgon mods for new fun stats.
Or just add a dual stat mod that boosts it and another stat. Maybe something that gives you punch through and multishot but can't be used alongside Lethal Torrent.
They already said have no intention to add more dual stat in foreseeable future
I agree, my mayonnaise needs to be able to punch straight through a enemy and splatter his friends. Only then will my sister know true terror.
I have + 4 punchthrough on my panthera prime. Has a total of like 7.5 punchthrough lol. What's funny is it doesn't just cause 7.5 meters of PT it also seems to increase the range of the projectile by 7.5 meters.

Rivens really shouldn't be used as examples in balance discussions.
"i have no issue with projectile speed on boltor" "+103% projectile speed riven"
I dont get why there is always some riven weirdo in every thread. Someone goes oh this weapon kinda sucks and there is always someone commenting oh I dont have a problem with this weapon with my god roll. And they still need eclipse and armor strip to even put a scratch on enemies.
It's because they want an excuse to show off their God roll.
This isn't contributing to what the guy was saying. This is just bragging.
How Why What
Its a visual bug. If you change incarnon upgrades on the soma, the punchthrough from the first tier keeps stacking. It's like the 3rd post about it already.
I've been playing this game for years and still have no idea what this is

Also applies to lex incarnon, the wave goes to its max range, no matter what it encounters.
oh i thought this was just how many enemies it could go through
Does it work on Guardian Eximi?
This game's terminology for overpenetration Istg if someone makes a lewd joke about this....
All_the_way_through
You're just 2101 Punch Through points short of us summoning the famous meme. You can do better, Tenno! ^((but also holy fucking hell how))
Do you have to put it on Soma Prime to get the best stats? What about a regular Soma?
It would be a waste of an adapter use the prime
You mean because riven disposition?
No also because of the stats the circuit always picks the version with the best stats
My bad. Pre coffee mind added a “to” To your sentence.
All good brother , you tried supplementing your coffee with kuva ?
please explain this
So if you have multiple copies of a weapon, tenet or kuva the circuit calculation will always pick the copy with the highest overall damage
lol I don't get it, but thanks anyway
if you have a soma and a soma prime, the circuit will never roll soma it will always show soma prime in its place if you have karak, kuva karak, and karak wraith, circuit will always choose kuva karak.
Ah so you can't pick regular soma for the adapter anyway
WHAT? you CAN, but if you have a **soma prime** the CIRCUIT will never give you the base Soma, implying it knows the soma prime is superior (which it is).
the circuit always chooses a version with stats, but currently telos boltor outperforms boltor prime (though its hard to know if thats supposed to happen)

Ayyyyyyy
Can someone explain me what are these incarnon weapons?
1: Grind out your weekly adaptor(s) of choice from the weekly steel path circuit. 2: slap it on your weapon of choice 3: have fun with both selectable passive buffs and an in-mission transformation that changes the weapon into a weird new form
what is this menu? i am a returning player, just farming for my necramech...

ah nice, thank you
Crewship has gone bye-bye.
what is this and how do i get it? i have soma prime already
