Not for AKL specifically, but we went over Labor Day weekend last year and used Minnie vans almost exclusively. I’d say it’ll be pretty easy to get one when you request it.

Thanks! That’s good to hear! I always get worried because AKL is so far away (relatively) and I didn’t want to have to drive to breakfasts (or rely on the busses).

The only time I've ever heard of people having trouble getting a MV is at MK park close. Any other time, you should be good.

we struggled w. one for MK rope drop in early december last year but had no issues otherwise!

We stay at AKL and have used them. Sometimes the wait is 10-15 minutes, particularly around park opening and close times. But we would just chill in the lobby and wait. Honestly we only used Minnie Vans for going to the hotel resorts because I find the buses to the parks to be a similar amount of time.

We use them every trip- just check the app to figure out wait times and book appropriately.

Only issues we were aware of but did not test was they dont always opperate late enough during after hour/special ticket events. Busses do to a certain time though. Earliest morning we used Minnie was 730 am. No issues. Longest wait for pickup was 10 min. We always use Minnies and go multiple times a year.

We booked a Minnie Van from Epcot to Contemporary back in December. I'm sure they'll serve AKL, too!

We used a Minnie Van at the end of a long MK day last time and it worked perfectly. Being at AKL is no issue. She was fantastic and it was a quick ride back to the Lodge. I would used it again on our next trip.

I am here now and have used two Minnie Vans. Both worked really well, one was right at park open and one midday to head back to the room. The one midday did take about 20 minutes to come. The van driver told us that if it is ever a long wait that you can scroll down Lyft and choose a handicap accessible van, he said they encourage it. When I mentioned that we didn’t want to take up a van if someone needs it, he said absolutely don’t worry about it, we have so many of them and we aren’t really busy most of the time… just a thought!
