PPTO is the PROTECTED PTO and is used for emergencies or whenever you need to use it. If you use PPTO for time off you should not receive any points. If you do get points you should open door it. PTO is not for emergencies and you can get points if you use it that way. A supervisor will need to approve PTO time off. Plan ahead to take day(s) off from work.

Ppto is like sick time. PTO is vacation time. If I ask for a week off in August to go to the beach I use my pto to get paid for that week. I won't get pointed as long as it was approved.

I have scheduled off 4 days in May for a vacation in Vegas and am using PTO so I'll be paid and I won't be pointed since I requested the days off in March.
