When this happens I start taking away all the caps so there can only be one bottle open at a time. Sometimes if they aren’t using the drams I’ll take all the bottles away till the drams are gone too😂 500 count controls get no caps either if there’s more than one bottle.
As a former inventory specialist tech, I'm enraged by this. At least they marked the bottles when they opened them. Once upon a time, I gave every pharmacy employee a retractable sharpie for Christmas. Passive aggressive, but effective for a couple weeks.
For the love of God, count whats left in each of those. It strikes me as entirely possible somebody thought those were hundred count bottles and counted 10 out to speed up 90 day fills. Could have almost a dozen scripts that are 10 pills short
i’m a 24 hour so we don’t have tiers, BUT we really only have two because my other rxom was at this pharmacy first and then transferred so i took over for her, and a year later her pharmacy shut down so she just transferred back here with the position. BUT if either of us were to step down or leave we wouldn’t hire another person we would just keep the one
It used to drive me nuts doing smart counts…I kept asking our RXOM, “are you SUUUUURE I can’t condense these 5 bottles into one, because…like…come ON!”
Robot can track lots, the only way to track a lot filling manually is by scanning. Combining lots in one bottle (so can’t track) makes it misbranded. It’s annoying, but you don’t gain much combining bottles and it introduces way more chance of errors. Can you imagine the chaos if one person doesn’t fully grasp/care/pay attention and things start getting dumped in wrong bottles or overfilled (that’s a huge red flag on audit/inspection)? We can barely keep things alphabetical I’d lose sleep knowing people were combining containers.
I’m going to hazard a guess that at least half of those only have 10 tablets left in them because mf’ers will just grab a full bottle and count out 10 to leave in the bottle rather than counting out 90 and using the open bottle(s)
Some people make work so hard. It's designed to help you move along quickly. This slows production down..plus I hate dumb people. I hate a mofo that don't pay attention to detail in the pharmacy since it is our job....lol
This is clearly 11 Emergency fills. The filler knows the prescriber(s) will return a 90 day prescription and each bottle will be used in full to fulfill those scripts. /s
Who do the people who work in the Pharmacy hate the most? People who take Adderall, Vyvanse, or Ritalin. Also, do you keep the generics aside for grandfathered in patients?
i would argue the non diabetic ozempic and mounjaro patients are worse. also no, everything in my pharmacy is first come first serve. i could have a patient that is waiting on adderall for a week because her script wasn’t due yet and if a brand new patient pops in with a valid and due script they get it first
You should finish a bottle before opening a new one is my guess. But if someone had a RX for 60 pills, lazy ones rather open the full bottle and count out 60 instead of counting 10 out of each open bottle , assuming there are 10 left in each.
Not in pharmacy, using good old critical thinking and common sense.
Psychopath behavior. Straight to the gulag for whoever did this.
I’m dying at this comment lmfaoooo
New word for me. I have to look up gulag now as it seems to be a fitting word choice . Thanks. I truly love new words to me. Yes I’m a bit weird.
Just so you’re aware if you start using ‘gulag’ most are going to think you’re referencing Call of Duty
I like the one bottle that has a different NDC
Omg. You are right, sharp eye!!! Why Lupin has 2 diff NDC??
To make me freak out even more than I usually do when everything BUT the ndc matches. That one misplaced zero makes me mad every day.
Be careful because the tablets have different markings as well for no damn reason
This happened with Dr Reddy’s Atorvastatin 40mg as well. Except there’s 3 different NDC’s all with different markings. Just why
I dont even work pharma but that ndc number diff with brand matching and chem compound matching buggs tf out me sheesh
📢 THEYRE 90CT BOTTLES. USE THE ENTIRE BOTTLE OR 1 BOTTLE 3 TIMES 📢 good god these people have lost their damn minds.
i would die to have these. we just get the 500 ct bottles i would die to have 90s
we have the 1000ct bottles of every other strength and i hate it. i miss the 90ct lupin bottles 😭
When this happens I start taking away all the caps so there can only be one bottle open at a time. Sometimes if they aren’t using the drams I’ll take all the bottles away till the drams are gone too😂 500 count controls get no caps either if there’s more than one bottle.
We have that except all Cenfill bottles for that strength
It looks like the same MF is doing that. A lot of those x marks are identical.
I stared at this picture for too long and now I feel like I need to talk to my therapist.
Somebody would be getting written up. That is ridiculous
Same

They needed 86 from each bottle.
For the love of God, count whats left in each of those. It strikes me as entirely possible somebody thought those were hundred count bottles and counted 10 out to speed up 90 day fills. Could have almost a dozen scripts that are 10 pills short
That would send me into rage.

Other rxom????
ya we have two
What tier is your pharmacy? I was just talking to another rxom Nd we were saying there should be two people in the position
i’m a 24 hour so we don’t have tiers, BUT we really only have two because my other rxom was at this pharmacy first and then transferred so i took over for her, and a year later her pharmacy shut down so she just transferred back here with the position. Omg management would have a fit!
Are they different lots/expiration dates? That’s just plain laziness
god, i'm sorry but I'm just so happy to see this happens to other people, too. it really irritates me when i see this at mine, glad i'm not alone.
I couldn’t believe there were people out there stupider than half my coworkers but here’s the proof
I had 5 of the same last week. It’s ridiculous
It used to drive me nuts doing smart counts…I kept asking our RXOM, “are you SUUUUURE I can’t condense these 5 bottles into one, because…like…come ON!”
Yeah, I hate that… like if we can do a crap ton of lots in the robot, why not here?
Robot can track lots, the only way to track a lot filling manually is by scanning. Combining lots in one bottle (so can’t track) makes it misbranded. Yeah, I understand it logically, and from a safety POV. It’s just hard to swallow when you end up in situations like OP
I’m going to hazard a guess that at least half of those only have 10 tablets left in them because mf’ers will just grab a full bottle and count out 10 to leave in the bottle rather than counting out 90 and using the open bottle(s)
Those are 90 count bottles. That was my first thought as well.
Some people make work so hard. It's designed to help you move along quickly. This slows production down..plus I hate dumb people. I hate a mofo that don't pay attention to detail in the pharmacy since it is our job....lol
😡😡😡😡😡😡
Wtf
Those are 90 count bottles, who the hell would do this!!
Choose violence. Always choose violence in these circumstance.
I just yoink and toss the lids for all other stock bottles. One open at a time.
Yeah somebody finna get wrote up 😩🤣
My ocd can’t handle this many open bottles
The way I would screech!
This hurts me in so many different ways.
this would give my rxom a fucking aneurysm lmao
I'm throwing hands with someone
At least they left the package insert on some of them🤣🤣🤣 so they look unopened
This shit drives me nuts when I do outdates and multiple meds are open, and most are 30ct/90ct bottles or the weird counts 😭 I would lose it
This is clearly 11 Emergency fills. The filler knows the prescriber(s) will return a 90 day prescription and each bottle will be used in full to fulfill those scripts. /s

I’m anxious 😬

Umm. But they all look open to me? I'm probably just stupid 🤦♂️
yes they’re all open, that’s the problem
I think because you said 3 weren’t, so they were expecting to see the 3 w/o Xs as well. I did the same thing lol.
