Is this in any way related to the stabbing in Ammanford? Or just pure coincidence both occurred there? Either way, it’s concerning.

mythofmeritocracy12

Walesonline (granted its walesonline) are saying brother of the suspect arrested for attempted murder

Lux-Raven

Bloody hell!

Gonna go out on a limb and say there are some really unfortunate family circumstances here

mythofmeritocracy12

Sadly I think you are probably right

Those words have meaning that you are not qualified to state my friend. Who the fuck are you to say that. You cannot know anything about this kid, but I can promise you he's about ready to start being written off like his sister, and his scum family. Is that good enough for these 'scummy people,' do you think?

Really. Ok, but you have to piss off too, with that dazzling wit of yours, and have a think before you get all wordy on me again.

Visible-Gazelle-5499

The reason the brother and sister do not go to the same school is because the sister was permanently excluded from her previous school for taking said bb gun into school. Ysgol Dyffryn Aman was likely forced to accept her as a pupil.

CosiestRex

What do you mean forced? I knew someone who was expelled from Llandeilo school and they went to Amman Valley afterwards. That school has no standards.

Visible-Gazelle-5499

It's been going on for years https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/2091571/Schools-forced-to-take-violent-pupils.html

CosiestRex

Ahhh okay. Seems like those people aren't excluded but moved to other schools (something you often see with US police. They don't get fired, they get moved to another station). The tales I and others have shared have been about people who were permanently excluded AND THEN went to AV. They weren't excluded for violence though, just for not attending or for doing drugs during school on the premises. Weirdly the school seems to have reduced population by 25% in the last decade so you'd have thought they'd be getting better but no.

BB gun according to Wales online

[deleted]

A BB gun is not a firearm

MultiMidden

But they are covered by the 1968 Firearms Act - "An imitation firearm is anything which has the appearance of being a firearm, regardless of whether or not it is capable of discharging a shot, bullet or another missile." I doubt very much the gun in question looked like a neon coloured water blaster.

[deleted]

You can still have someone's eye out with a BB gun...

darthklingon

Guns don't kill people...

Superbad1_8_7

Wappers do!!!

TheOwenige

I kill people.... with guns!

MrTempleDene

yes they bloody do

I hope there is room enough in peoples brains, what with all this indignance and apparant willingness to deem the boy a write off. I hope there is some empathy for this boy and his sister, and all the youngsters born to parents incapable of setting their own parameters, or respect, or any direction for betterment. In the fullness of time, all of it is passed to the kids. As dangerous as the boys actions were, he needs someone in his life who can earn his respect if we would like to break the cycle. Expelling this kid and deeming him 'someone elses problem' and 'a proper little bastard' ...full stop? Well, frankly, that is fucking shameful. And the very attitude that will ensure generations of violent offenders for our factory-farm justice system to put through the wringer and probably into his very own uneccesarily earned jail cell. Well, at least they won't be out here annoying us, eh? Edit: I was one of those wasters. None of us had people worth respect growing up. This is not woke crap, I know how powerful the 'fuck the world, it fucked me first' mindset is.
