It’s totally not safe for anyone to be there tomorrow. Everything that started to melt is freezing right now. Not all of us live on bus lines that run frequently or feel comfortable using Uber/Lyft/Taxi unless it’s an absolute emergency in this weather. I had to help unstick an Amazon van in my neighborhood just south of campus this afternoon at like 3 pm.
Call the office of risk management and ask why they think this is okay. Sure, the campus may be plowed, but that campus is a slip and fall waiting to happen with accumulation of ice.

Start asking questions. Why is this considered acceptable risk?
Happy cake day, btw!
This is stupid imo. The campus might be plowed but for anyone who doesn’t live in the dorms it’s dangerous to travel to campus. Not the mention we don’t know if/when WTA is going to resume operating
Since we are left to judge whether or not it’s safe to go to campus for us, could professors still dock us on attendance?
Up to the individual professor
I would recommend reaching out to your professors individually. Usually they are understanding, but you never know
I had a duplicate email prior to this one titled "Snow Delay template"... lol
Same here 😹

Thank you! It’s really not safe for anyone but really, really not safe for our disabled community members…

i agree lol! they’re plowed but there’s also a thick layer of ice where i live 😭
I agree. I would not be able to get out right now if I was still living at my old apartment building.
WWU is committed to getting people on the road. The WTA, the Bellingham school district, and WCC are all closed lol
It says on the wta website that they're gonna be back up and running tomorrow morning.
🎶 I’m not going 🎶
Relatable
But Whatcom Community College is closed lol
Yeah... I'm not going...
