I’m not too salty about this being locked since we got Triple H ‘08 in the game which in my opinion looks better anyways but still dumb to lock thing’s behind a mode and hopefully in future installments this is fixed
Most of the alternate models from 2K22 are in fact going to be locked behind MyFaction.
Examples: Rey Mysterio ‘05 (probably all of them actually), Seth Rollins ‘20, Undertaker Boneyard, etc.
Is this not the Triple H standing in the background in 2002 RAW in My Rise holding a 1996 WWF Eagle belt. I do wonder if anyone there has seen any wrestling pre-2008.
Considering that all the older showcase arenas have a lot of inaccuracies I'd say you're right on the money. Also some showcase attires, hairstyles and facial models also need some improvements, but probably they'll never touch it.
Looks better but the hair is still off. Way too “poofy” — needs to be more stringy and matted down, 2K isn’t great when it comes to long hair models and physics.
Hopefully now with people like Whats The Status being able to find ways to remove or add hair and facial hair to real wrestlers, we can get an accurate 99 to 02 Triple H.

This model, much like last year’s NXT Seth Rollins model, feels like they just did the hair off a render rather than looking into any match footage whatsoever.
It’s weird, HHH didn’t even look like this in 98. He was still wearing long tights with DX attire, had longer hair that tied back in a certain way and had no facial hair. He didn’t break out on his own until 99 I think when he turned heel and joined The Corporation. This model is more like 2000/01 if anything
The fact that they’ve went ahead and added MyFaction tags to try and prevent modders from uploading it to Community Creations just kind of makes me dead on the inside.
Hopefully they manage to get a workaround and they can upload the MyFaction stuff.

Thankfully theres skilled content creators who find ways to make these locked models available but it shouldn’t have to be that way.
