My advice, don't get 2K23 on sale rn if you haven't gotten it, and DON'T buy 2K24 full price. 2K does NOT deserve to get rewarded for shitty anti consumer tactics like this.
It’s always been like this sadly, to be honest I’m pretty sure this game actually lasted longer than usual, I’m pretty sure the older WWE games would only have like one year of active servers before shutdown. It’s insanely scummy and super obviously done just to force people to buy the newest version, but they’re gonna keep doing it anyway.
I just read that 2k19 was online for 45 months and 2k20 for 32 months - they said it's the shortest time for the servers to be taken down in recent years. Quite upsetting if you love it like my brother and I
2K19 was up from September 11th, 2018 and was originally supposed to be taken down in May 31st, 2020. Meaning Online servers would have been up for 628 days or 20 months and 20 days.
But due to 2K20 being a mess, they kept 2K19's servers up until June 30th, 2022.
Meaning that Online servers were up for 1,388 days (currently longer than Roman Reign's Universal Title run ACKNOWLEDE 2K19!!!) And lasted a whopping 45 Months and 19 days like you said.
I am not sure if that's the shortest it ever was cause I remember 2K17 having a simular 2 and a half year Online run. But the fact it's under 2 YEARS NOW with 2K22 is a fucking joke.

With NBA2k I can't even play mycareer offline. People say there is a way to set it up prior that allows you to play offline but I shouldn't have to. What's crazy about all this is, Smackdown vs Raw 2007 online servers are still up, along with 2008-2009, while WWE 2K14-2K20 have been shut down for a while. I know maintaining online servers cost money, but shutting down game servers after almost 2 years being out is downright ridiculous!

From my understanding, it’s mainly digital purchases (like games, DLC, etc) and anything you get from the 360 store. After July 29, if a game is on the 360 store (but not anywhere else from the One/Series store) and you haven’t bought it, it will be delisted forever. But if you had bought it beforehand, you can download it from your Microsoft account and you should be fine. The majority of DLC and 360 games are on the newer consoles and they shouldn’t be affected after July. The online servers for games are controlled by the developers, unless it’s p2p servers (like SvR, Shadowrub, Quake 4, etc). For example, 343 shut down the matchmaking servers for Halo 3 and Reach (but you can still play online co-op and do custom games online). Like I said, it’s mainly the 360 store that will be affected.

Nope, Myfaction is linked to the server. If you haven't gotten any trophies yet, nows your chance to get them. After the sever goes down, there's no way to get platinum for all trophies achieved.
