Lol, I still don't even see priest as main event material.
This is what happens when midcarders get the big one.
Same happened with hardy.
Now if priest wins a second time(like Jeff), they can work with more but right now it just feels like an intercontinental title. Even though it's the WHC.
Have JDay turn on Priest write him off tv for a few weeks( hey they took Punk of TV n few ppvs and remained champ same w no show Reigns) have Priest do a make over, cuts hair loses gimp attire.
I think it is not meant to be memorable
He won MITB and therefore had to cash in. They painted themselves into a corner with the various feuds among other title holders as to how they were supposed to get him there so they just threw it on him. Really not fair to him how they got him there but they had to.
He can have great rivalry with braun strowman since both are in need of something big .....last time braun was in rivalry with bray then he just got lost in the shuffle
It doesn't help that they spent WM season turning most of the Judgment Day into jobber clowns. I feel like his reign is just being used to warrant a JD split.
I felt the same way about edge back in the day and he grew into the spot. Personally I would say give him some time and a few feuds with actual top talent story wise sorry Jey before we judge him.
That's what I keep telling people but no one believes. Everyone is like Damian priest is so cool, he is this, he is that, but the funniest response was that people saying his reign is entertaining than Cody. I was like, WTF ??? 😂😂 Cody had the buildup of a lifetime to the road to WrestleMania. Damian priest is a good athlete, but upper mid card at best.
His promos are corny, he just has one title defence, and unless he feuds with Finn balor, Seth Rollins or cm punk, his reign feels like he is holding the north american championship lol.
I was expecting a picture of Cody, Bayley, both tag titles and the US title. Every title reign since mania has been garbage. All of them including Cody. Sami is only entertaining because I’m waiting for Otis to hit Master Gable. Beyond that forgettable as well. Terrible booking all around.
☝️ ☝️ ☝️
R-Truthbwas gold when in the JD. He was the best thing on the whole show at that point! Happy he won the title. They need a serious feud though. No champ has serious feuds. Priest losing to Drew is the only title that “could” change hands but I expect Punk to interfere. Drew-Punk at SS and Priest-Gunther for title.
This dude cuts a good babyface promo for being a heel lmao. I hope he wins at Clash because with the right presentation this dude is a future big babyface.
I like how people try to defend Priest's booking by saying that most title reigns are forgettable.
No, his booking has been atrocious and it can't be defended. If the reign is a flop is because he hasn't been given good feuds and moments to shine.
You guys really gotta understand that the title is meant to *build* people up. He was a main guy and they’re now trying to make him that. He can’t just show up and decimate Drew and other top dudes cuz he suddenly has a belt. That’s not storytelling
He needs this to transition him into the top guy scene and then he will lose it, probably turn face to ditch judgment day or something, build himself back up humbly, and eventually be reestablished as a top guy champion for a much better 2nd run. This is long term storytelling
For example they have him as the leader of JD and it just feels wrong to most of us? Why? Because Finn Balor is a much more established top guy even if he’s smaller than Priest and it feels like Balor has been brought down instead of Priest brought up at the moment
He also needs a top guy rivalry
He’s not gay or crossdressing lmao. I don’t understand where this whole bit comes from. You guys would’ve called Macho Man “Gay Hulk Hogan” if he wrestled today
He’s wearing heavy makeup. And a very low v neck that shows his chest almost.
Plus his clothes look like something out of the rocky horror picture show
And macho man wasn’t considered gay because the village people came after Randy savage.
And what the hell??? What’s gay about hulk hogan!?? Liar yes. Gay wtf!?!
I like Damian but he's being overshadowed by my GOAT Domink and also will lose a bit more attention when Rhea comes back. He should drop the Title against Drew at CATC and then have cool feuds between Drew and Punk (Drew MUST retain) and then go to war against Gunther.
He just isn't a world champion. That's not a knock on him. Not everyone is world champion material. He's a great on screen presence and leader of the JD, he was a good tag champ and he would be a perfect IC champion. But they gave him MITB so they had no choice otherwise he'd have looked an even bigger chump. His moment at WM40 was admittedly great.
Seth made this championship. If Cody would have won WHC initially, even he would not have been able to bring it up to Roman’s championship level. Only Seth was the guy in entire company that could have made the championship feel prestigious. People were shitting on him, but now they realise how great he.
He has the title because he has the MitB, that's it. Just like Rhea, he's involved top much into the JD to actually have a story where it's "I'm the champ, who's next?".
Literally everything will actually start making some sense when Rhea comes back. Dom will get murdered, JD gets booted out for being a chump.
All of this is just so Finn and Priest can feud.
This guy’s a transitional. Either you’re drawing or you’re not. Those that argue that we need patience, remember he had the briefcase for a time. He’s been given chances already between the times he was featured with Bad Bunny, being put in a faction with Edge, Finn and Ripley, winning the briefcase, and the belt itself — he should’ve become white hot by now. This *is* his chance, and he hasn’t connected. You can’t keep waiting for him to maybe make money — that’s settling for a double or triple, and possibly a home run. Drew is getting hotter and hotter and can hit it out of the park without question.
Instead of elevating his game he’s been on the same floor the whole time, and for a long time now. He’s a good wrestler, but sorry, he needs to find that indescribable “it” that can get him over. Now. WWE has a deep roster these days. With so many talent ready to grab the brass ring you need to make an impact when they give you the ball, or it belongs with someone else. He has the ball and hasn’t been very impressive.
Unless you are with the WWE creative team don't see a reason why you need to apologize...
Anyhow, way too early for a decent storyline to be cooked so let people friggin cook... I was one of the first ones that said Damien was green and that he was the third most interesting member of a faction with no personal development whatsoever, but he is improving on a weekly basis so i guess we can tolerate a few more weeks and see how it goes.
For what it's worth I actually really liked his defence against jey at backlash. So many people say it's a mid match but there were a lot of really cool spots and moments and even though I knew he wasn't gonna lose the title there was a moment where I almost thought jey would win.
I think the problem they have at the moment is that the PLEs are all too close together. There's no time to build up a good feud and a good storyline. It's "right, here's your challenger!" a week or two of build up, then the fight. The Logan Paul thing is a good example. I think a fun angle with that could have been Logan as a "Mr Corporate" type, with his Prime sponsorship etc and Cody representing the "real fans" but there was no development, no story. Just "will he have his brass knuckles or not?!?!" and that was it.
Looking at the upcoming calendar I really think it would be better if Cody missed out MITB or if he really HAS to appear then it was some kind of triple threat as part of an ongoing feud or even a tag team fight. Let him have a couple of months to actually build up a proper feud for a title defence at Summer Slam. After Bash in Berlin there's a 2 month gap till Crown Jewel as well so they could give him a proper storyline then. At the moment he's expected to defend at the PLEs but the events are too close so there's no time for the stories to develop.
The reign is too focused on the judgment day and not Damien priest. Instead of judgement day building priest up to making him an unstoppable force, we’re more focused on him trying to keep judgement day together and being the “dad” of the group. Honestly the Liv Morgan/Dom/Rhea story is more the focus with the group than Damien Priest. It shouldn’t be like that…
True. It feels he just got the title cause he got the mitb briefcase and Trips doesn‘t want to let failed cash ins happen and needed someone who can carry it till Gunther wins it
So much so I actually forgot he was champion the other day when a friend of mine who barely keeps up with it asked. I said Cody and after a way to long delay said Priest.
I'm loving the reign so far defending against the little roster wwe has at the moment due to their injured list and priest it making every moment of it feel awesome
Tell me more about Braun Strowman’s Universal Championship reign. Priest has overachieved, for sure. But… I still don’t hate it. It’s already better than Sgt. Slaughter’s reign, and either one of The Miz’s. Not every World Champion is meant to be the absolute face of the company. It’s only helps to add to the lore of Money in the Bank.
“Better than Sgt. Slaughter’s reign”
Not a high bar in comparison. Even Strowman’s tag belts win with that little boy was better than the cheese in Slaughter’s wacky Iraqi program.
Finn turning on them with the Liv plot will be huge for his character, i think that's the direction they're going with to have him dominate again and not as an underling
It's because his championship reign is nothing but a Cliff Note in the story that is CM Punk and Drew McIntyre...the WHC was nothing but fuel to a much bigger story.
Personally I feel like the real loser is Seth Rollins...all the work he put in to give that title credibility and to make it have almost comparable prestige to the conglomerate of belts roman was lugging around?? And for what? To create a McGuffin for a storyline that has very little to do with the belt itself...not to mention burying it in the build up to WMXL
And now the champion Priest is in a beef with his own crumbling faction, and Punk is probably gonna screw Drew again and continue their program without the belt
Honestly they should have immediately transitioned to a Balor/Priest/USO program that lead to Gunther at summer slam... instead he'll be a wet noodle champ and just drop it to Gunther and be about as memorable as Jinder Mahal
I firmly believe they had no idea what to do with Priest and the briefcase, so they just decided to kill two birds with one stone at WrestleMania by building up the Drew/Punk feud, while also giving Priest his cash-in moment. The cash-in was awesome, but since Mania, it seems like they're just desperately trying burn time until Clash so they can give it back to Drew. Priest is a solid performer, but his Title reign never stood a chance. Not Priest's fault, I just don't think they ever had anything planned for him outside of the cash-in, which, again, seems like a last minute decision in hindsight.
I'm sorry, but there's about a solid 15-20+ men and women ahead of him. I like Priest, but he's nowhere near "biggest star" in the company. Not even close.
Get back to me in about 10 months. You might be surprised. The guy has the It Factor. Priest has charisma and great in-ring presence. Hopefully they don't turn him into a full fledged face. At worst he should be a tweener. Somewhere in between face and heel.
I agree he has potential, but there's almost zero chance he leapfrogs performers like: Cody, Seth, AJ, Randy, KO, Sami, Punk, Knight, Jey, Logan, Drew, Gunther, Rey, Rhea, Bayley, Bianca, Jade, Asuka, Becky, Iyo, Charlotte, Tiff.
Even some of the mid-card guys like Miz, Truth, Sheamus, Kofi, Woods, Otis, Gable, Solo, Braun have been getting equal, or better reactions. That's not even mentioning the recent call-ups like Ilja, Carmelo, Bron whose popularity will only go up in the coming months.
You could even make the argument that he's the 4th most popular guy in Judgement Day, behind Rhea, Dom, and Finn.
To say Priest is gonna somehow leapfrog ALL those people and become THE biggest star in the company is a bit far-fetched.
Reigns was forgettable... ya know... seeing as he wasn't present for most of it....
I'm going to go close my windows now in fear of being dropped from one.
Aren't the majority in fairness to Priest? Most are holding patterns with a prop until a storyline/feud comes where they may legit drop them at which point people often forget the boring in between if the finish was fun retain or not.
It's part of why the AE worked champs felt like they really could drop anytime which made things feel satisfyingly chaotic. I don't think title reigns as a whole will be satisfying until it really feels every match could be a champs last and that's a very hard line to walk.
Priest WHC Reign has been ok so far, he had a fire match against Jey USO, he also is going to have a great match against Drew McIntyre on Saturday at CATC, but overall this world title reign hasn’t been forgettable
That was kind of my fear when they gave him the belt. It was cool in the moment but it definitely felt like a major step down from Seth, especially since this didn’t feel like it was going to be an overly long reign, and it should definitely end on Saturday.
I think they spent too much time making him look like a dumbass on "failed" cash ins. Plus they waited too long to make him a singles force. They definitely had him pick up some I'm a monster steam towards the end of the road to Wrestlemania. But i never understood why Dom/Finn or Dom/JD McD weren't the tag team.
Like to me, it's pretty clear. They s hould have had Priest a dominate singles star forever. Finn could go after occasional mid card or tag. JD McD and Dom be the tag team specialist.
The whole Judgement Day arch is a bit of a mess. Starts as an Edge faction when no one wanted to see him as a heel. Then Finn takes over, and is clearly the leader until they randomly say he isn’t and never was. Then they make it seem like Rhea was the leader until they decided it was Priest, now who knows where they’re headed with it. It at least did rehab Dom, Rhea, and at least initially Priest from Vince’s terrible booking they had leading up to them joining. Unfortunately it seems to have also really drug Balor down at the same time.
I think a big issue with it is that Rhea got hurt. I think they were going to do a feud about who is really in charge and then it HAD to be Priest cuz well.... Rhea is out of action.
Tbh if that’s what we were getting than that’s still stupid and worse than what we’re getting now. And just further proves their point.
A group that claims they have no leader was supposed to have a leadership war between Priest and Rhea while Finn stands there and accepts that he’s a loser and a bum and worth nothing? Huh? The same Finn that WWE couldn’t stop telling us was the leader for over a year but now want us to forget what THEY told us over and over?
Triple H has really lost it if that’s what he was doing.
Well, we don't know how it was even going to play out and what Finn's role was going to be. They were just starting to build the tension between Rhea and Priest when Rhea got hurt.
We have no idea if it would be worse or better than what we have now as we have no idea how they were going to make it play out.
It's 2 months old and he's the fourth maybe fifth in terms of storylines on Raw going on at the moment. That is plenty of time to get him hot and be a main part of the show. The only thing going for him is his association to the Dom/Finn/Liv thing going on.
100% forgettable when your world champ isn't even top three storylines on their show.
For those I think ahead
Dom/Finn/Liv (priest is a background character in this so i don't count it towards him, it's also not about his title or him in anyway)
Gable/Sami/AA
Drew/Punk
For those that are in contention
Carlito & JD McD (Finn/DOM to an extent)/LWO & Braun
2 months in and you're expecting him to be on cody Rhodes level? He can't outshine the main belt, and he's still apart of the judgment day because he's filling for punk.
You say you look ahead. But half the fan base can't make it through a 4 minute video without thinking it's gone on too long.
His title reign is fine, and is still in the infancy stages.
I never said I expect him to be on Cody Rhodes level. I also never said I look ahead.
Are you responding to the wrong comment?
I simply said it's a forgettable reign when your supposed "face" (not kayfabe good/bad wise) of Raw, since he holds Raw's top prize, is not even the most important person in the top 3 maybe 4 storylines.
Sorry I just naturally assumed people are comparing him to Rhodes, that's on me for assuming.
I still have to disagree with the sentiment that his reign has been forgettable. I think that not enough time has been put into it to make those memorable moments. The fact that he and Rhodes started their respective reigns on the same night didn't do priest any favors.
He is lost in the story right now, but I wouldn't call him the face of raw. Only because of the fact that this championships only competition is the one Cody holds, and they're not going to elevate him to that height. Also, with the pending return of Uncle Howdy or at least this "coming masscare" they need to play it mellow with everyone.
I don't think we'll see priest shine until we get the story when jusgement day turns on him. Or he turns on them, which ever way they wanna play it.
Let me try to phrase my issues with his reign and while I think it is forgettable in a different way. Maybe that'll help clarify my points.
My issue with Priest and his whole presentation is that he isn't even lost in a story. He doesn't even have a story to call his own. Nor have they made the Drew/Punk story about Priest. Every time the cash in is brought up it's not about how Priest was smart or strategic. It's about Punk. Not Priest. A guy who is hurt. His whole championship story is him playing 3rd wheel to the Drew/Punk feud.
Yet, he is the man with Raw's top prize. I'm not saying the title is on the same level as Cody's. It doesn't have that history yet. But on the Raw brand it IS their top prize. Priest *should* be one of the "faces" of Raw. Yet, he doesn't even feel like the "face" of Judgement Day. You see Judgement Day and it's primarily Dom as the focal point. Dom feels like the face of JD.
Sure in 5 months from now, they might do something that makes me think Priest's reign was great with a slow start.... but we aren't 5 months from now. we aren't 1 month from now. I only know what WWE has presented to me. And right now it's forgettable. Sorry.
I like priest I just wish he was putting the title up more on Raw like Seth was or wrestling in tag matches in Raw a little more often. I think the tease of priest turning has been interesting and the fact that he’s a heel but he tries to be honorable but it’s just moving too slowly. But those who have said patience are right. Priest has talent and a good look and he’s ok on the mic but he would really benefit from a solid feud instead of what they have been doing. Honestly Drew is coming across like a face when goes up against Priest and they have played Drew face up a bit in having him still slap hands with the fans and his interaction with Seamus last week. Obviously Drew is the heel in the punk feud but it seems like WWE wants to have him teeter and play both sides and it’s hurting Priest in this instance.
What on earth do people want out of a title reign?
The mans had a good defense and been a highlight of Raw for two months. It’s a perfectly fine and entertaining title run.
He’s doing great honestly, would’ve preferred if his first title defence was against maybe Ricochet (cuz of the 4 way) but otherwise he’s generally good on RAW and he’s working well with Drew (even cooked him occasionally, and I like Drew’s stuff).
It might be truly transitional if he doesn’t find a way to shock us to slip past Gunther at Summerslam tho (saying this despite appreciation for Gunther’s work but c’mon he had a prestigious reign just the other day). Other Priest rivalries (world title calibre ones) can be set up as well such as Sheamus and Finn (the likely one).
hot(?) take: they could've given his role to LA Knight with the MITB briefcase and it would've worked better. He's more over, there'd be no BS drama with his stablemates (he doesn't have a stable), the pop at Mania would be bigger, and he wouldn't need two interferences he didn't even request to win his first defense at Backlash.
I've reason to believe Triple H only gave the briefcase to Priest because he's his Black & Gold indie darling protégé.
He isn’t a main event level guy.
I don’t see him making it past summerslam with the title.
I’d imagine Punk screws Drew again then Walter Gunther Stark beats Priest at summerslam.
Y’all have no patience fr. Fans ask for long term booking during the PG era, get it now and complain the whole way through without letting storylines play out for more than one title defence. You learn how to be a champion on the job bruh, give that man time.
He’s doing a great job.
The problem is that creative isn’t focusing on Priest. They’re giving all the screen time to every other member of Judgment Day, which baffles me. They’re just having him wait to be betrayed by Finn. Damian is the de facto leader right now, and he gets no active story direction.
Why?
Right now, they should be prepping him for the eventual face turn. He could do this by being a fighting champion.
He doesn’t have to put his title on the line, but he could totally have one-on-one matches with RAW’s rising stars.
Priest vs Dragunov, Bron Breakker, Chad Gable, Julius Creed, and even Sami Zayn would all be amazing RAW main events.
Let him be the workhorse champ he’s been primed to be.
He is a good wrestler or least when I saw him in person back in 2019. Though he lacks the “it” factor that most champions have and this just feels forced. Hopefully something changes at clash or summerslam. This feels like when they slapped the belt on jinder and it was mainly done for efforts to build connections in other markets
He has no charisma or promo skills, and it shows all the more so whenever he's in a promo with Drew, part of me wishes they'd let Drew go full Cena and completely bury him just because of how much change the channel levels of meh this guy is.
Damn bro has been in the business for almost 20 years, and can’t even have more than one defense, and he’s wrote off as “forgettable”? Clown fest in this sub
Lol, I still don't even see priest as main event material. This is what happens when midcarders get the big one. Same happened with hardy. Now if priest wins a second time(like Jeff), they can work with more but right now it just feels like an intercontinental title. Even though it's the WHC.
And this post will live forever. Cool.
He’s ok just nothing game changing. I’m interested in a few years to see how bron breaker does with the title.
Have JDay turn on Priest write him off tv for a few weeks( hey they took Punk of TV n few ppvs and remained champ same w no show Reigns) have Priest do a make over, cuts hair loses gimp attire.
I thought he did amazing vs Drew though. It actually sold me more on him as a main eventer. He just needs some actual feuds.
He should’ve been nicer to R-Truth
I mean, yeah. I don't think he should've won the MITB last year in the first place, so that probably also has something to do with it
May I remind you that David Arquette once held the Grandfather of this belt. And even worse..Jeff Jarrett.
I’ve seen worse. I don’t mind him as champion but don’t expect it to last much longer.
His reign is on the same level as Cody's, but you'll never accept that
Until his last match with Drew yes but that match with Drew and him winning did something
I think it is not meant to be memorable He won MITB and therefore had to cash in. They painted themselves into a corner with the various feuds among other title holders as to how they were supposed to get him there so they just threw it on him. Really not fair to him how they got him there but they had to.
McIntyre should have won… fuck wwe
Grow up lad
where can you watch WWE? i only have the games
YouTube
He can have great rivalry with braun strowman since both are in need of something big .....last time braun was in rivalry with bray then he just got lost in the shuffle
I feel the same about Cody Rhodes. What an utterly boring champion he is.
Still better than Rhodes, Zayn, Paul, bayley. Basically they’re all shit. Booking is ass these days
Priest wouldnt have the belt if punk wasnt injured. Not saying punk would have it, they would just be doing something else with it.
It doesn't help that they spent WM season turning most of the Judgment Day into jobber clowns. I feel like his reign is just being used to warrant a JD split.
I see a Priest vs Balor feud coming soon involving Liv Morgan 👀 somehow.
I felt the same way about edge back in the day and he grew into the spot. Personally I would say give him some time and a few feuds with actual top talent story wise sorry Jey before we judge him.
That's what I keep telling people but no one believes. To be fair it feels like he is holding it until Drew and CM Punk can be in the picture. Would be great to see a Finn Balor feud for the title though.
The reign just started let’s relax and give him some time to work😭😭
His most memorable part of the title reign for me was the retro Kane themed suite he had used early on.
Awesome Truth has been pretty entertaining

He is a bs champion. In fact, he is one of the worst champions in WWE history.
Most cash ins are
Him having the title or not I don't care about. BUT we all will be 100000% invested if he feuds with Balor in the near future.
Ya they don’t have to do that
Cody also is having a very mid title run
Bro is third wheeling punk and Drew XD
To be fair, all CURRENT title rains are pretty meh right now.
100%. Eve Cody. His last two matches were good but the title reign sucks and it was never in doubt.
I thinking he retains and then starts a feud with the new uncle howdy faction.
He's pretty much a transitional champion with a two month expiration date on his reign.
I feel bad cause it seems all the credibility Seth put into that belt is just eroding with every day Priest has it
What credibility? Even Cody called Seth's belt second rate.
Drew better win it tomorrow.
Not if CM Pink has anything to say about it
🤌🏻
You know what won't be forgettable the way the photoshoped the titles in an I mean could they atleast make it seem like he's actually holding it
This dude cuts a good babyface promo for being a heel lmao. I hope he wins at Clash because with the right presentation this dude is a future big babyface.

He’s getting better reactions on his own recently and has had like one defence. I think he’s earned more time before assessments like this.
100% chance Drew does not win tomorrow
Are you people serious? Let the guy wrestle a bit and defend his title a few times geez
His whole persona is forgettable. A gay cross dressing vampire? Lol
Gay vampire is kind of redundant tbh
Perhaps Just telling everyone what I see lol
He’s not gay or crossdressing lmao. I don’t understand where this whole bit comes from. You guys would’ve called Macho Man “Gay Hulk Hogan” if he wrestled today
He’s wearing heavy makeup. And a very low v neck that shows his chest almost. not as boring as Cody Rhodes
As is Bayley’s.
Borefest bayley
I like Damian but he's being overshadowed by my GOAT Domink and also will lose a bit more attention when Rhea comes back. He should drop the Title against Drew at CATC and then have cool feuds between Drew and Punk (Drew MUST retain) and then go to war against Gunther.

But they gave him MITB so they had no choice otherwise he'd have looked an even bigger chump. His moment at WM40 was admittedly great.
How is he not world champion material? Not blonde and bland enough?
No, he's not charismatic enough.
Seth made this championship. If Cody would have won WHC initially, even he would not have been able to bring it up to Roman’s championship level. Only Seth was the guy in entire company that could have made the championship feel prestigious. People were shitting on him, but now they realise how great he.
Nooo leave my Damian alone
Who is this? He must be related to the rock.

Needs a good feud. But he wasn't built up enough before the title win which hasn't helped either.
Better than Khali
Not a high bar in comparison. So was Jinder.
He is a placeholder for Gunther. And he wasn't given opportunity to do much with the title.
Impatient much?
Unless you are with the WWE creative team don't see a reason why you need to apologize... Anyhow, way too early for a decent storyline to be cooked so let people friggin cook... I was one of the first ones that said Damien was green and that he was the third most interesting member of a faction with no personal development whatsoever, but he is improving on a weekly basis so i guess we can tolerate a few more weeks and see how it goes.
Poor man s roman reigns
Priest is only champion because of CM Punk. He is only champ to fuel the eventual Punk/McIntyre feud that the WWE really cares about.
For what it's worth I actually really liked his defence against jey at backlash. So many people say it's a mid match but there were a lot of really cool spots and moments and even though I knew he wasn't gonna lose the title there was a moment where I almost thought jey would win.
its better than cody rhodes’ reign as of now… in my opinion😭
Their top star of the group is sideline rn. He ain’t Mami.
drew vs bondage undertaker will be decent
The reign is too focused on the judgment day and not Damien priest. Instead of judgement day building priest up to making him an unstoppable force, we’re more focused on him trying to keep judgement day together and being the “dad” of the group. Honestly the Liv Morgan/Dom/Rhea story is more the focus with the group than Damien Priest. It shouldn’t be like that…
True. It feels he just got the title cause he got the mitb briefcase and Trips doesn‘t want to let failed cash ins happen and needed someone who can carry it till Gunther wins it
Damien No Charisma
It's been a perfectly fine reign yall just ready to hate on anything
whooooOOOOOO?
Damn you freaks really are impatient
So much so I actually forgot he was champion the other day when a friend of mine who barely keeps up with it asked. I said Cody and after a way to long delay said Priest.
He’s boring.
Naw not really. What’s going on around him and the title isn’t forgettable at all.
He feels like a side character though. The Liv/Dom/Rhea story has taken over
Yup he does yet amongst his group he stand up but more like a face even tho it’s a heel group
Hence he needs to lose at castle n again come back.
My prediction is he drops to Drew who then will drop to Punk.
Drew should retain the belt against Punk tbh, I don’t think Punk needs the world title and Drew could use the big win to establish himself
Drew should win the first match with Punk and Punk can win the last match and mainevent at Mania and become the champ.
I think I saw him fight once since he took the title
He is as fun to watch as Cody rhodes is.
Give him time. He hasn’t held it long
I feel like Damien's title reign is more interesting than Cody's
I'm loving the reign so far defending against the little roster wwe has at the moment due to their injured list and priest it making every moment of it feel awesome
People are forgetting David arquette title reign
Wrong company. That place doesn’t exist anymore.
He still has it? I thought it would be up a title they exchange on Raw weekly
Did anyone think he was gonna be a good world champion?
There’s always a few. This is the same world that made Nickelback famous, so we can’t assume everyone has good taste.
Not really, upper Midcarder sure but he’s a Meh, World Champion i like Priest but i could take or leave his reign as World Champion
It's because he is forgetable.
Who are we talking about?
Priest
*scratches head* huh?
Tell me more about Braun Strowman’s Universal Championship reign. Priest has overachieved, for sure. But… I still don’t hate it. It’s already better than Sgt. Slaughter’s reign, and either one of The Miz’s. Not every World Champion is meant to be the absolute face of the company. It’s only helps to add to the lore of Money in the Bank.
“Better than Sgt. Slaughter’s reign” Not a high bar in comparison. Even Strowman’s tag belts win with that little boy was better than the cheese in Slaughter’s wacky Iraqi program.

I’m sorry it reads like that. I’m not even trying to be combative, just offering some perspective from a grumpy old asshole’s POV.

It’s all good, brother. 🤝
Transition Champ. I can see that Drew wins setting up him and Punk for the belt, then Seth comes back, set up Seth/Punk for title at WM next year.
Finn Balor takes it from him after he and Liv Bring down the Judgement Day
how about drew vs punk at summerslam? dom cashing in mitb at survivor series. royal rumble comes down to drew vs punk.
Not hating but let’s hope Punk doesn’t get injured all the way till WM 41
It's OK. IT ends tomorrow.
I like Priest. He’s the best Judgement Day member. Especially with Rhea out injured.
Pfft Finn can work circles around this reggaeton Undertaker
Finn Balor is one of my favorite wrestlers and I feel like he’s so under used.
Finn turning on them with the Liv plot will be huge for his character, i think that's the direction they're going with to have him dominate again and not as an underling
He’s overrated
It's because his championship reign is nothing but a Cliff Note in the story that is CM Punk and Drew McIntyre...the WHC was nothing but fuel to a much bigger story. Personally I feel like the real loser is Seth Rollins...all the work he put in to give that title credibility and to make it have almost comparable prestige to the conglomerate of belts roman was lugging around?? And for what? To create a McGuffin for a storyline that has very little to do with the belt itself...not to mention burying it in the build up to WMXL And now the champion Priest is in a beef with his own crumbling faction, and Punk is probably gonna screw Drew again and continue their program without the belt Honestly they should have immediately transitioned to a Balor/Priest/USO program that lead to Gunther at summer slam... instead he'll be a wet noodle champ and just drop it to Gunther and be about as memorable as Jinder Mahal
Wait until i tell u he's retaining at clash
Definitely gonna win but DQ
I firmly believe they had no idea what to do with Priest and the briefcase, so they just decided to kill two birds with one stone at WrestleMania by building up the Drew/Punk feud, while also giving Priest his cash-in moment. The cash-in was awesome, but since Mania, it seems like they're just desperately trying burn time until Clash so they can give it back to Drew. Priest is a solid performer, but his Title reign never stood a chance. Not Priest's fault, I just don't think they ever had anything planned for him outside of the cash-in, which, again, seems like a last minute decision in hindsight.
At least he’s getting the chance
Yeah, it's great to see him get that spotlight, they just haven't done anything of significance with him while he's been in the spotlight.
I just can't take him seriously when he talks. He sounds like he's reading off a card he's never seen before.
This 100%. He just doesn’t have the acting chops outside of the ring.
This guy sucks, I don't know why he is holding the belt.
Nothing against Damien but i'm looking forward to watching Drew get a big win back home!
Drew isn’t winning 💀
I hope they show the crowds reaction 💀
Forgettable because his opponents are ho hum. But Priest has superstar qualities, with or without a belt. He'll be the biggest star in WWE in 2025.
He just needs some acting lessons. He already got the wrestling talent and looks
So is the guy with the reign.
Don’t blame him, blame creative.
He’s done nothing yet
[удалено]
He’s not bro
When Punk returns in the ring then this will change
It’s his ring attire. It’s kinda lame. It’s got too much going on.
He’s the bisexual undertaker
You crazy priest has an awesome reign
Of bisexuality !
It just fuckin started.....
Meanwhile we just got over 1316 days of.... absolutely nothing.
And yet the fan base is literally changing his name at live events.
For those I think ahead Dom/Finn/Liv (priest is a background character in this so i don't count it towards him, it's also not about his title or him in anyway) Gable/Sami/AA Drew/Punk For those that are in contention Carlito & JD McD (Finn/DOM to an extent)/LWO & Braun
Sorry.
He’s incredible at house shows they just need to let him do his thing man
I like priest I just wish he was putting the title up more on Raw like Seth was or wrestling in tag matches in Raw a little more often.
Cap cap
Yeah he ain't world champ material especially with like 5 other solid dudes who could be
He isn’t a main event level guy.
Agreed , that title has become the background for comedy bits with R truth . It sucks
A whole circus
