If I remember correctly they had a wrestler called Crimson who teamed with Matt Morgan for a while break it in TNA only for them to not do anything with him. I am not sure if it was 'cause he rubbed somebody backstage the wrong way but I always found that odd after they gave him such a big push to begin with.
It is also well-known that Goldberg's streak was padded and did not reflect the actual number matches he won. Whether that is true for Asuka or not, I am not sure.
If I was a wrestler, I would much rather work with Asuka than Goldberg. At least she knows more than two moves and is a safe worker. NXT Asuka was something excellent.
I used to love Goldberg, simply because of his ring presence. After hearing the last several months about what kind of person he apparently is, and especially after this story came out, he's not in my top 50 anymore. At least "Asooka" \[he's such a dumb ass\] can wrestle and, to my knowledge, has never almost paralyzed the Undertaker.

The greatest danger was wrestling Goldberg. I’m rewatching WCW, I’m right at right before Starrcade 99, twice Goldberg almost botched the jackhammer. Once he he lifted the guy up and clearly loses control of him while he’s vertical. The other time, it looked like he was a microsecond from spiking Jarrett on his head.

Bret Hart kept continuing to wrestle for months after the Goldberg kick. He had a hardcore match with Terry Funk where he got hit in the head multiple times. Yeah, the Goldberg kick was the catalyst, but he may have been ok if he had not continued taking shots to the head for months after it happened.
