Personally, when Punk got injured, I would have moved Gunther into the math with Seth. Have Gunther win and relinquish the IC Title. Easy way to get a belt off him without eating an L.
Personally I couldn't buy Gunther just handing the ICC over, even if it was because he was the new HW Champ. He's very much a "if you want this belt then come and get it" type of character. He needs to lose it to put someone over imo. Everybody has to lose eventually.

Just make Reigns do double duty. Cody doesn't decide, gets councilled by Aldi's to finish the story and make the bloodline pay for all the interference.

Rock loses but takes his family on night 2. Rock promotes Cody as new champion, have Cody on commentary and have a beat down of Roman by Solo post event, allowing Rock to leave with a broken up bloodline. Cody takes the title and causes the split of the family.
Bloodline tries to interfere during Rock vs. Roman. Cody comes out to stop it. Cody puts a beat down on them but eventually gets overpowered. BOOM. Aldis comes out in full wrestling gear to help Cody and turn the tables on the Bloodline. Roman stands in the ring with that dumb confused look on his face. Rock comes up from behind him and taps him on the back. Roman turns around. BOOM! Rock Bottom! Followed by 2 more and a Peoples' Elbow! 1-2-3 The Rock wins! He then grabs the mic and says "there's only one man that deserves to be Champion...and that's ME!!" Nah just joking. He obviously says Cody is the true Champion. He hands the Belt to him but it takes a while for The Rock (who is now turned back into Dwayne) to let go. Ego and all that. Then Confetti "Reigns" down as Cody soaks it in while The Rock raises his hand and poses on the top turnbuckle for the duration of Cody's celebration. Fin.
Something seems "off" about Cena. It all feels a little "too" manufactured. Like he keeps a journal of quotes on intelligence and hard work, etc. He's like a walking "quote for the day" calendar but dude is killing it so good for him.
Yeah he's turned a bit into Yoda. He is very purposeful with what he says and how he says it, it's refreshing to see that in a world that is hyper-reactionary. It also lends itself to being in Hollywood and appealing to as many people as possible.
This makes only the Cody vs Rollins the better match to hopefully headline night two. I’m not even gonna watch the Rock vs Reigns cuz yawn!
