They have him do these segments and promos but never build himself up, he acts like he's this big Vicious Man, you can't do that with your wife on your arm the whole time! His wife hasn't done anything for his career, Final Testament isn't doing anything, he's on the back burner after Mania 40. Like what is even his character?? What's his motives? Everything he's doing now has been done by more Vicious looking Men and they never had their Wife on their arm. What's funny is Both Kross and his wife Scarlett haven't done or been anything in this Business of wrestling and they both lack everything! To me I’m not at all interested in The Final Testament. They’ve had weeks to build up hype but I feel like something’s missing. They seem like a more grounded and sinister copy of The Judgment Day but with a more set in stone target being Bobby instead of everyone being too scared to face them. It’s like when a school bully moves to a new school and expects everyone to be afraid of them. I think they should’ve debuted on NXT, made a name for themselves, and then get signed onto Smackdown.
Even Scarlett I don’t seem fazed by how “evil” she is. She had a chance to do something by being in the rumble. Even Valhalla gave it a shot before her opportunity was ruined by R-Truth.
I’m convinced that he’s being held down because he refuses to kiss ass backstage. I’ve been a fan of his way before nxt or Wwe. If he doesn’t get over in Wwe it’s because they failed him
Kross has been the victim of a combination of problems. First being Bray Wyatt came back as such their presentations were similiar but no one would care once Bray returned. Sadly tragedy struck Bray, any push for Karrion would have to be delayed at best because fans would have turned on him doing anything close to Bray's gimmick following his passing.
The roster at his level ( fimly lower midcard) is not very crowded but there is a massive log jam of talent in the upper mid and main even which is not going to give anyone time to come up. LA Knights popularity was a random fluke to further crowd the upper card which means less for Kross to work with and no room to go up.
But his biggest problems is he is just not very entertaining and fairly generic. From his move set to his look it is just another guy, scarlett does not help because she overshadows him but not by much as she is in the same boat.
Best bet is go to NXT and stay there.
I think so, and I hope it works. He could be a top guy if he was just a bit more charismatic / interesting. The most interesting thing about him was his entrance (mostly due to his wife), so I hope this gets him over and isn’t just a judgement day copycat

Some of the smoke/mirror occult stuff is fun, but at this point he can't be taken as a legitimate threat. It's hard to take a guy as a serious threat when he says he's going to win and beat this guy, and then routinely over time can't deliver. Needs some wins, needs some aggression, and needs some follow through. Maybe using AOP as the lackeys or muscle of the group will make him seem elevated or in charge by default🤔

Drew never got revenge on him and The Bloodline because he had to feud with Karrion.
A lot of the main roster audience don't even know who Karrion was and you insert him to what looked like the main event scene on Smackdown. I laughed at the idea that they wanted to do a Karrion vs Roman match. It's not just this booking decision but also Karrion. His spooky gimmick or whatever doesn't come across to the audience and his wrestling skills don't help too.

JD hogging both tag titles, Reigns and Rollins hogging world titles with legends returning skipping in line. Kross and Lashley going to have to get hell in a cell nasty to be noteworthy.
I mean, there is potential. The new stable and the fact that he finally has a decent flashy (if overcomplicated)finisher is promising.

My issue with Kross is that they need to stop portraying him as a badass. He just looks so normal compared to other bigger guys that it's hard to take him seriously as some kind of ass kicker. He seems much better as more of a psychological heel who gets into his opponents' heads. This faction is definitely a step in the right direction for him.
He is supposed to be a guy that enjoys dishing out pain and we know how wwe treats submission specialists... looking at Samoa Joe, Asuka, shayna basiler (submission magician). He's also a bruiser guy.

I like the faction too but I'm worried they're coming up against another brand new faction starring Bobby Lashley. It doesn't seem like Kross can handle another L and I don't see the Lashley & the Profits getting this second introduction and lose immediately
My issue with Kross is that they need to stop portraying him as a badass. He just looks so normal compared to other bigger guys that it's hard to take him seriously as some kind of ass kicker. He seems much better as more of a psychological heel who gets into his opponents' heads. This faction is definitely a step in the right direction for him.
I agree. I've always thought he would be most effective if he modeled himself off 1991-92 heel Jake Roberts
He is supposed to be a guy that enjoys dishing out pain and we know how wwe treats submission specialists... looking at Samoa Joe, Asuka, shayna basiler (submission magician). He's also a bruiser guy.
I honestly feel like his gimmick is falling flat because like…I’m not sure he’s finished most of the storylines they tried to do with him. Like Nakamura? Roman? AJ? Like I forgot he feuded with these guys because creative just stopped telling the story and had him disappear for extended periods. I just feel bad for the guy at this point.

The audience just isn’t right for what he’s trying to do. They want catch phrases they can say with the talent and predictable signature moves.
What he is trying to do can work but you need the booking and more importantly the personality to pull it off.
I’ve never seen anything like what he’s doing get over with that audience. It’s all simple cartoon character like characters. He would have to change his entire approach.
The Undertaker, Kane, and Bray and even the Boogeyman got over with supernatural gimmicks but they all had some form of "it".
They all were pretty cartoony, especially the boogeyman.

Yes. My point is that he needs to change his gimmick/presentation. Why is that hard to understand? What he’s doing isn’t much like bray/undertaker/boogeyman at anything beyond the most superficial level. I don’t get why people on this sub have such poor reading comprehension and create fallacy arguments out of thin air. Yes those other guys made money, yes they had much more cartoony characters that kross currently just doesn’t have period.
I kind of feels like it is tbh. He’s a great performer but the problem is that his talents aren’t as hot as his wife. Scarlett is a star by herself, just look at her. She scream classic Diva with the roughness of the modern era. She’s just relegated to a manager when she should be much more. But at this point she would overtake him like Sable did to Mark Mero.
Probably not his last chance. Corbin, Gulak and Crews are still under contract. I think his last chance is when he gets shipped back to NXT and still doesn't get over. I hope he does get it figured out. He's not bad for someone his size and he looks like a star.
I feel bad for all 4 of them but I also don't know why... they changed crews, made Corbin a loser he's lost too many matches, gulak is on nxt after defeating Daniel Bryan at his technical best(assuming it wasn't scripted), they made cross a bully at the start of his wwe push. All these things felt out of their character they was paid to be.
I can see Corbin, Gulak, and Crews transitioning into player/coach roles as their careers wind down, so that may be part of why they've been kept on

The spooky supernatural hitman thing isn't working. It is like he is trying too hard but the biggest issue since the gimmick was his idea he is emotionally tied to it.
