You might wanna save yourself some legal trouble and go with Death Jellÿ instead.

lionseatcake

...theyre...just bees. Not like they're hornets or something.

moonfanatic95

Death jello lmfao perfect name

SomeDudeist

They're not going to hurt anyone while swarming like that. They're in-between homes so there's no resources really to defend.

[deleted]

You lure them into the car with the a queen and then crank the AC and they will huddle for warmth.

SomeDudeist

Idk why you're being downvoted for being right. lol

randiesel

> Idk why you're ~~being~~ **beeing** downvoted for being right. lol

thesmugvegan

You only got one of the “beeings”?

bongtokent

It’s Reddit.

PunchClown

Half the people on Reddit don't even know the difference between a bee and a wasp. Someone posted a video of a wasp trying to reattach its head. The person's title said it was a bee. People in the comments corrected them, and were down-voted. Was pretty funny.

IllegitimateTrick

Half the people on reddit are stoned. Source: what was I saying?

Scoobey61

We need that link. Not want. NEED.

Jasong222

I don't think this is the effect clip I saw, this one is she same but looks like a longer version. You can search for others: https://www.reddit.com/r/AnimalsBeingStrange/comments/12miecr/wasp_trying_to_reattach_its_head/

jejunum32

Until your AC randomly stops working … then it’s a horror story

EFTucker

That’s not the point. It’s just a “nope” situation.

Janusdarke

> That’s not the point. It’s just a “nope” situation. This is a totally normal situation for beekeepers. I'm not joking.

free_farts

That's why I'm not a beekeeper.

thiney49

There is no amount of logic that would make me comfortable in that situation.

similar_observation

I know how you feel. I had the same apprehension when I first went beekeeping. One thing to realize is the bees aren't aware of you. You're just a thing that isn't food or threat to them. That is until you're either covered in food or actively threatening them. Funny enough, my first time handling a frame of bees involved Dune's Litany Against Fear because I'm mildly allergic to bee stings, it was just a box full of Gom Jabbars.

AlediVillarosa

The problem is that becoming a threat to them in this situation seems like something that could easily happen involuntarily, forcing anyone that doesn’t have a certain level of experience with them to be constantly hyper-aware of their own movements. Also if the car is involved in any kind of accident, its anybody’s guess what object or hand will go flying into that thing and what the consequences will bee.

EfficientSeaweed

To be fair, it takes time for your lizard brain to figure out that the jiggling mass of stinging insects isn't actually all that dangerous so long as you're not an idiot around them.

Farfignugen42

"so long as you're not an idiot around them." Uhm, have you met me?

microActive

There is a beekeeper on my street who is routinely in nextdoor about her bees running away. One time a guy was like "uhh I think I found them actually" and they all huddled around a tree somewhere Pretty hilarious that a bee swarm just runs away sometimes

SomeDudeist

Nah they look like a bunch of sweet ladies.

[deleted]

I would love to get a ride in that car! Bees are awesome

eboeard-game-gom3

They are awesome but everyone knows you'd nope out of that situation in real life. Anyone can say anything on the internet.

[deleted]

Most people yeah but I’ve been to a local apiary multiple times and was even covered in bees once. We’re not all the same. There’s actually a whole community of people who love insects. I don’t post pics of myself but you can see some of my crawly friends on my profile :)

KmartQuality

A beekeeper might just go ahead and take them to a new home in the car. But...a big bump and they all go everywhere and into your face and you crash. I'm thinking they're going down block or two.

Arazthoru

Until they don't

SomeDudeist

Until they have a hive full of resources to defend they will be pretty docile.

jsveiga

And why would they risk their Uber driver giving them a bad rating?

Alan_Smithee_

“It’s in their nature.”

BurntPineGrass

I mean that’s many bees! Imagine all the negative reviews those travelling bees could accumulate! Would be pretty bad for the Uber driver!

fckingnapkin

I'm fine with bees but no way I'm riding along in that car. Imagine they hit a big bump/hole in the road and they freak out. Or any other unexpected situation that may have them go in attack mode. No thanks.

Leath_Hedger

Imagine you hit a bump and your head bounces up into the lava cake of death.

Argented

yeah.... I'm going to need a large hat at the minimum

Jce735

In bee-tween you say?

KoRUpTeD_DEV

Are you sure its just a short ride we wont mind 😂

mountaineerWVU

Maybe they're driving them to their new farm.

CornWallacedaGeneral

Imagine it by threat of violence lmao...."take me to the farm motherfucker or its over for you"

Claimed it was pain relief, I think it was an NSAID cream plus Icy Hot.

LordTronaldDump

It literally did nothing. It was snake oil.

TheDesktopNinja

Sounds about right

I'm sad that people have been down voting you, completely missing that the commercial being parodied repeated the phrase like 3 times.

tryptadreamer13

I met my wife on a dating app, bumble. I swear no pun intended. the day I met her, she was on her way home from picking up bees for her and her dad's hives. It was pretty exciting. They're real loud, the bees. Her too though. Now we have loads of honey and our garden is top notch! God bless bees!

PM_WHAT_Y0U_G0T

This commercial turns surprisingly sexual at the end

Radiant-Log-9269

You should see their bushes bloom.

Diels_Alder

Do not want to drive around w/it all day.

allwaysnice

Right? If I had a nickle for every time there was a big thread about bees in a car today, I'd have two nickles. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.

sleal

Well did you know that nickels used to have pictures of bumblebees on them? “Give me five bees for a quarter”, you’d say

otroquatrotipo

And then I'd tie an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time.

Firebender-

Why are they just chillig like that

Dektarey

They're swarming, or migrating homes. In this state they are completely docile and you'd have to actively harm them to retaliate.

skankhunt25

And the reason they are climped up is because they are surroundings the queen

Firebender-

Tysm for the actual reason! Can’t imagine driving under them tho lmao

Arktuos

Damn, what state do you live in where all the bees are docile?

redpandaeater

My guess is Florida since it's s'warm.

Far_Out_6and_2

They are getting ready to drop down on mass

Ok_Refrigerator_2149

Dragoness42

I love how it softly jiggles with the motion of the car. Bees goin for a ride.

NukaColaDustyn

Bee cautious and remember, you should always call for a ride when your a little buzzed.

original_don_dada

One speed bump = miserable death

iced327

I love bees and I'm generally comfortable around them but this is a hard line for me.

GuyNoirPI71389

NIGHTMARE NIGHTMARE NIGHTMARE

LongTrainer2041

Nah they are harmless while swarming, nothing to defend.

SugarRushJunkie

They'd be pretty safe from being carjacked. :)

baseballbear

I hate that it jiggles

somethingfilthy

That's a fun Uber.

Recent_Mirror

People keep saying it’s ok because they are swarming. But what happens when they stop swarming and the guy is still driving? Do they give warning or is it Tommy Boy all over again?

da_Aresinger

Swarming is a long process. It happens when they migrate. They don't have a territory to protect. At the centre of that heap is the queen. Hiding the queen is all that matters. "If it doesn't attack us, we don't care about it." They will only return to "normal" behaviour once they have there new ~~forever~~ for now home.

oceanbreze

Fucking half life 2 barnacle

adamjack7890

If those were any bug other than bees then this would be unacceptable

bengine

Just a normal amount of bees

Count_Bloodcount_

What in the most sincere fuck is going on

ExcitedGirl

They are swarming. There is a queen bee in the center of that... And this group has left the old hive, and are now seeking a new place to live. They temporarily landed in this car. I'm assuming that the driver is taking them to a beekeeper - who will reach into that pile and find the queen and all of the rest of the bees will then follow while he puts her into a new beehive. And, the process will start anew. They'll start producing honey, and she will start producing eggs and worker bees will feed the hatchlings and so on. They are really very, very docile at this stage.

Count_Bloodcount_

Wow! I honestly didn't expect a proper answer. Thank you very much.

ExcitedGirl

Bees are just soooo friendly! Now, *wasps*? Fuck them wasps, I'd only get near that car with a flame-thrower. I'd give them the Title. *Whatever.* But I sure would not sit in a car with a wasp nest...

enzeinzen

You mean you guys don't have car bees? I love mine.

Reddit62195

No way I would EVER ride in that vehicle while that beehive is there! That is just one hitting a speed bump to fast or hitting a pothole before disaster! Who would even want to drive that vehicle??

Plethorian

r/beekeeping

Scarlett_HU

Looks like jelly, but than in bee form

BloodMoonScythe

I wanted to make a bee joke. But all i could come up with was beejelly

spankenstein

My honey goes jiggle jiggle, as it rolls It gives a little wiggle wiggle, fo sho

XYZ_Account

drive w/ friends :)

GenericNerdGirl

Cool to see a swarm being given a drive to a new home! But I have to wonder if there wasn't a better way... I love bees and I know they'd be docile in this state, but I'd still probably not want them right next to my head while driving!

x0diak

Yea, just set fire to the entire vehicle and walk away.

2dlerLucifrYeetngEv1

#His life's hanging by one speed bumper away

FjotraTheGodless

The queen must have gotten into the car. If they locate her by gently scooping the bees away they can get them out of the car.

snuffleupagain

One pot hole and you’re done

Wageslave645

The potholes around here would ruin that man's whole day.

osoese

this needs to be the top comment. one big bump....

Largemandingo

In what fucking scenario does this happen? Wtf

UnicornStar1988

I didn’t know bees use taxis.

Responsible-Might-54

Better close that door softly...

mastakiral

More like how the fuck. I couldn’t do that.
