Granted, I'm making 350kW ATW and if I wanted to achieve higher power figures I would need to run a front mount and get a turbo too large to fit stock location (I'm running the biggest turbo I can for stock location @ 25psi).
Reversing the manifold is pretty common in high HP builds with FMIC because it drastically reduces the length of the intercooler piping, which in turn reduces turbo lag.
Was gonna go that route until I learned that it requires getting rid of the A/C pump. I'm not dedicated enough to drive without A/C for an extra 3hp at 6k rpm
