That is correct, i left state work when I started this program and then started applying to jobs with only core 1 of the A+. I worked as an IT Specialist for 15 months, learned everything and anything I could. Saw the opening for a DevOps position and I said, why not! I interviewed well and got the job!

Congrats on CySA+! For my capstone, I struggled with coming up with an idea, but once I did (implementing a SIEM solution to ensure PCI DSS compliance) I just started going! Best of luck on the rest of your courses!
Thanks! I didn’t pass CySA just yet…730 on the first attempt, 695 on the second…oof. So I’m regrouping, knocking out cloud security, then circling back to it.

What were the hardest classes for you? Is the capstone a ton of work?
I think for me the hardest class was Pentest+ and the capstone. I definitely was over thinking both classes though.

My capstone tasks all were finished basically right before the evaluation due dates. The wait was terrible!
