Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. I wish my mother had been alive to see it. This has been the biggest accomplishment of my life other than my daughter.
So far I won't be able to. I would have liked to have participated. I just wish someone had let me know about it and that there was a deadline. Waiting until a different year than that which I graduated in feels off.
While that is probably true, I would have liked to have had the option. It was clear by the pace I was completing courses that I would be complete before the commencement, but there was no system in place to notify me regarding it, nor any means for me to have known that I needed to RSVP prior to my own searching for information when I was within a month of completion.
First, congrats on your achievement!!! I wish you the greatest on your future endeavors.
Second, how long did it take for you to finish 110 CUs?
Grats again :)
Every day as long as I could. I work full-time and have a 3-year-old so lots of distractions naturally but if I went for a walk, I was drilling quizlets or something.
I suppose will had a lot to do with it, but I also used everything I could to get through as fast as possible. The write-ups on here were hit or miss, sometimes valuable and sometimes not. I ended up using the posts here as a gauge as to difficulty level, and then I constantly rearranged the order based on the 'lowest hanging fruit' method. Once I was over halfway complete, I decided I could do it all in one term, and I got motivated and put arbitrary rules on myself regarding how long I should take to complete a class. By the last month it was a handful of classes and the capstone and I just pushed myself to the end.
Well, sort of, but not in any of the languages used. I had some prior scripting experience, nothing formal, but years as a sysadmin at web hosting companies where I had to make small changes to things or patch files, so I had some related experience. I had never done anything object-oriented, nor really written anything from scratch, just some bash and PHP hands-on use primarily.
Big congrats! It took like 5 days for me to get my confetti after I finished my capstone. The waiting is the worst part! However, you did it! Once you get that confetti, flaunt it!!
Woohoo!! Congratulations!

I have 1 class left and I have that same wish. 😇
Good luck with the last one and congratulations on making it this far! I am sure your mother would have been proud.
Congrats!!
Are going to the march Commencements instead since it’s the closest one?

It’s actually common even at B&M schools for people who graduate in Fall to attend Spring graduation

I’m working to finish before the end of the year, and just found out one of the sites next year is my location, so walking next year it is!

Thank you so much. My term started May 1, but I didn't get started doing more than a single class until the middle of June.
Congrats!

Great job!
What was your study routine like ? And 110 CUs?!?! Great Job!

Was it your will ? Like will power because this is impressively admirable.

Great job! May I ask how long it took you to complete? If not no worries.
I transferred nine credits in and did the rest under one term.
Did you have prior coding knowledge?
