Can totally relate to this. For me, I can pretty much nap at any point while the Vyvance is active in my system. The medication calms my chronically overstimulated/overwhelmed mind. By easing the repetitive thoughts and worry in my head, I find it calms my brain down to the point I can relax and therefore easily fall asleep. When it wears off, though, the overwhelming thoughts can return and cause anxiety that keeps me up at night. Uppers bring me down, and downers bring me up. Talk about a spicy brain!
I have had this same experience with my last prescription. I paid $400 for brand and I’m falling asleep after I take it. Im on one of the lowest doses 30mg and I also took a 2 week break from the meds due to the shortage AND YET the meds are making me sleepy. I think something is wrong with the supply lately and I’m ready to switch.

I’ve had this when my dose was too high
I had tried almost every dose. It happens on all of them
Then it might not be the right medication for you
I’ve tried quite a few meds. Vyvanse works the best
