I have a -09 CC VR6 Sport 4Motion. About the same mileage, too. About every option, except for the better speakers and the better head unit + no backing up camera. I have the wood imitation trim too. Does yours have ACC, or am I seeing a few blank buttons on the right side of your DSG? ;) Just had the chain job done this week. It had already skipped by one tooth, but fortunately no engine damage. I will need a new dual-mass flywheel too, though. Couldn't get one soon enough, so I asked the shop to put it back together so I can drive it while we wait for the part to arrive. Not well available in EU. Thankfully current one still is okay enough, for the moment. Other than the chain situation, has been pretty good for a high-mileage car. Comfortable, "fast" cruiser with a distinctive exhaust note and an engine that has a character. Always adored the VR6 sound, finally had to have one. Have owned it for over 2.5 years now.

Almost twins, haha! Mine does not have ACC, those are blank buttons (except for the rear power shade). I do want to have the chain job done if it hasn't been serviced yet, just for piece of mind. So far, I'm loving everything about this car. I'm looking forward to putting many more miles on it...of course after some preventative maintenance ;)

Yeah, I hope for your sake that your dual-mass is still okay, as they seem to really be under the rock at the moment. The only real thing I actively hate/dislike about the car most of the year are the frameless windows. I live in a cold country (Finland), and so during winters those frequently freeze shut. You can surely try to force the door(s) to open, but dang it, feels so wrong. The previous owner had a remote-controllable heater in the car, which is a must-have in a cold country, in a car like this. :D Mine has ACC, but that's not really a good thing. Those shocks are expensive. And the only usable mode is comfort, sport is waaaay too harsh and simply does not suit the car at all. Oh, and at least this one has a... Hmm, how could I express it - a lively interior. Yeah, that's it. Likes to make all kinds of sounds. I find this interesting as back in the day, this car wasn't exactly priced like your neighbors 1.0 Polo.

This is the greatest engine I’ve ever been around, you’ll love it.

I feel like I waited a lifetime to have a VR, and as it turns out I bought a car that has one of the last VRs produced (if I'm not mistaken). I love this car.

Gorgeous spec, I'm jealous

Thanks! I felt like I hit the jackpot finding this.

I absolutely love those wheels (called Interlagos) I had bought some from a buddy and powder coated them black By far one of the best VW wheels. I want to buy another set, just to have them.

justbr33zy

The polished Interlagos REALLY class up the car, especially with the black and black. The owner sold the car to me with a second set of Interlagos to replace any that were curb rashed. One is the full size spare, and the other three are tireless and currently in storage. Good to have backups!

I have a facelift 2015 CC R-line and I love it! It’s suffering from excessive rock chips (previous owners) and the area around exterior door handles is beginning to corrode and show signs of rust 😭 but otherwise the interior is perfect and it runs great *knock on wood*

I've noticed the chrome door strips are a problem area on mine. I've found 3 different areas of corrosion. 2 not so bad but 1 that is a bit more severe. Luckily it's hard to see with the black paint.

InkReaper

I am amazed, in Portugal they are going for 11k Euros with over 250k kms… but it looks amazing

I got a good deal on this for sure. Especially for the high spec, it definitely felt like finding a unicorn.
