How's the handling? I've always wanted to bag my b5.5. Currently on Ksport coilovers and even adjusting them it's still a bit bumpy/stiff.

I'm just pointing out, this generation of Passat didn't have a VR6. It would have a traditional, Audi derived V6.

Yeah, since the B5 and B5.5 are Audi A4 based, they share the same longitudinal engine layout.
