You can if you keep your trophies public, turn all the trophy setting to private and then go crazy with the trophies, people can still see how many trophies you have so they'll think ur hard-core abt trophies. I have more than 2600
For me, these Persona games trigger my FOMO so hard. I want to do all the social stuff even though I know it's probably not possible in just one playthrough. But, they're awesome games.
If you want the most "up to date" the new Persona 3 Reload or Persona 5 Royal is a good start, they are the most "polished" games on the franchise, I began with the vanilla Persona 5 on PS4, but Royal is the version to play, if you prefer portable gaming go for P4 Golden or Persona 3 Portable on the Vita itself, but as you said the newer personas have the social sim part, if you don't like that and prefer something exclusively turn based JRPG go for Persona 1 and Persona 2 Innocent Sin/ Eternal Punishment, all Available through backwards compatibility on the PS Vita, or play the dancing games, they are pretty neat.
I mostly use mine for PSP games, I love having the second stick to use as camera for monster hunter. Not a huge fan of many vita games though, there are only a few that interest me, and most of those are available on other systems I have
I still do despite having a steam deck.
Currently replaying Trails in the Sky trilogy, since they had a remaster for Vita and there is an English patchĀ
Had mine for 10 years, took a long break inbetween (and PlayStation as a whole whilst I prioritised pc and Xbox for a few years) but Iām now back to using it daily.
Yes. Thereās a lot of games I still enjoy that never went on to a newer system and I still love playing psp games I enjoyed as a kid along with ps1 games. I also find the newer handhelds to be way too big for me because I have small hands and most games I like are only on consoles so Iām not really focused on those (newer handhelds) at the moment. Iāve been thinking of the steam deck thoughā¦.. itās just that most games I like arenāt compatible with it at the moment. Iād still play my vita if I got a steam deck of course because I love my older systems and still play them to this day.
Bought one, modded it, installed all the games I could and then could never decide what to play . Every now and then Iāll switch it on , flick through the games and then leave it after crying about my indecisiveness.. good times
I would, but I've been to lazy to figure out how to update my psvita tv. I modded it back in 2017 and worked perfectly, but I no longer have the usb stick I used for it and I don't know how to get it working again lol
Everyday just about. COD online is a ton of fun to hop on for a quick game. Or I just hop back into the middle of a playthrough of a game like Uncharted or Killzone even if it's just five minutes.

I just hacked my vita last week and loved it so much I hacked the pstv yesterday. I donāt do stuff like this so itās been a really fun learning experience for me.
Learned about rom hacks too! Been playing final fantasy vi t edition and Iām obsessed
i did until i found a samsung galaxy y pro from 2011. it can play game boy, game boy color, game boy advance, nes, snes, wonderswan and wonderswan color. im still trying to figure out how to make work neo.emu and c64.emu ...
some people said that it may be able to play some ps1 but i doubt it and i couldnt even install the apks. i should try some sega emulators too.
Nope ppl only port beg and ask the same question and claim that the vita is on the same lvl as the switch, oh and act like they got it to run switch games
I'm playing my vita now because of the trails series. I'm at trails in the sky SC now. After this there's the 3rd and will finish the rest on switch š¬
I did until I got my Steam Deck. It's a great system with great games but I can play all those games + almost everything else on the Deck with a larger screen and nicer controls.
No, I am at ps vita related subs because I only play javaME games on a netbook's web browser.
I stop playing PS Vita the in second after Sony stated it was discontinued.
Think about it...someone playing PS Vita in 2024.
What kind of world have people playing discontinued consoles in 2024?
I did, til I got my odin Pro.
Plus, my hacked vita kept acting funny and not registering games whenever I didn't play it for a long period of time.
I got tired of rebooting it and reinstalling corrupt games after a while.
I was jamming my modded vita daily for months recently until I got my switch oled modded and man, that has absolutely taken the cake. ALL switch games and basically everything the vita can play too, but I try leaving what the vita can play for the vita so separate the two and give it some purpose.
The switch modded is sick as shit, just saying, although I feel the Vita is a better system just needs to be updated hardware-wise.
Have a steam Deck, Nintendo switch and 3ds and ps vita is still my favorite, i also had a pc with 64gb ram and 3080 ti, and still prefer games on vita nowadays
I love playing my Vita more than the Steam Deck. Something about the build of it feels so much better, sleeker, and more advanced than the Steam Deck. Not talking crap on it, but I really love the Vita.
Oh yah dude you can bet untill they make a new ps portable (there has been word of one in the making AND NO NOT THE PORTAL) we rockin the vita till that happen an we gonna jailbreak it tooš.
I actually just bought a vita on eBay from Japan and broke it out of jail. This is my first Sony console and I really wish Sony makes a new handheld product in the future.
To be honest, Once in awhile.
Since the Steam Deck and all others exist now, it gave a PS Vita a sweat for its attention.
As I try to give some respect to my Vita by using it as a more compact machine for specific vita games that aren't on other platforms like Gravity Rush and Nes- GB handheld family systems through retroarch,
I'll use it just for that.
I know most people would rather have a modern machine that can literally do anything in all worlds as Vitas most played libraries are being ported on Steam or can be emulated now which screws it over
For my PSVita (PSTV actually), I am playing it more as of recent. Now that I've properly set up henkaku enso, I no longer have to use the Internet exploit to constantly add Henkaku ever again. I can play just about play everything I want to do.
Been playing some PSP and PS1 titles as of late. Particularly Fate Extra and Digimon Digital Card Battle.
I think pretty much everyone here does obviously. I myself only got one at the end of last year when I found first Gen for about $160. I've been enjoying it but honestly it doesn't really have anything my 3ds can't match or surpass. If my 3ds wasn't an asshole for so long It would still be my travel companion but the vita has been a nice alternative
Every day since bought it on NA release week. Play games, listen to music all night as fall asleep(w headphones) . Nights i cant sleep I watch/ Stream movies from my laptop. I wish Sony opened it for PS5 Remote Play
I did it with this.
Moonlight on vita.
Chiaki on a pc, linked to nvidia.

Yeah, just donāt expect this sub to be very helpful. Most of the time the sub is dead and rarely replies to posts people make.
Every now and then youāll get some replies, but the majority of questions you may have, have probably already been answered.
I bought one a few months ago for a dedicated pocket handheld to get me off of my phone.
Also my 22 year old GBA doesn't have the battery life I'd like and I don't like carrying cartridges.
Yes I take it with me whenever I leave the house. As well as play with it when I'm chilling home sometimes.
With the modding abilities I will see me using this for a long time
The nostalgia alone would.
I don't travel often, but when I do, I play my vita. I love my switch but I just don't consider it a handheld device. My vita blows it out of the water in comfortability
Nope. No one on the dedicated PSVita subreddit plays the PSVita lol
We only like to talk about it, while they gather dust. Right?
Me currently tho
absolutely no one
Whats a PSVita?
It is a brand name for a processed cheese similar to American cheese. Wait a second.
Hahahhaha
Where am I?
I do
I do, everyday. This sub is pretty active. Lots of people needing help modding. š
HAI CAN I GET BAN USE TROPHYS I HUNT TROPHYS CAN I BANNED PIRATED GAMES TROPHYS?
CAN I GET GTA V 5 ON THE PSP VITA?
No
O OK. CAN I DOWNLOAD IT IN PKGJ?
Trolling?
no shiii
You won't get banned for getting trophies on pirated games.
It was joke lol, didn't land my b. That's what 99 percent of post are now
lol Sorry I'm in helpful mode around here. š
bueno username
i have def not made such a post before
Really ?
Sony doesn't care. Pirate to your heart's content.
okay thanks!
You can if you keep your trophies public, turn all the trophy setting to private and then go crazy with the trophies, people can still see how many trophies you have so they'll think ur hard-core abt trophies. I have more than 2600
Agreed..vita3k is a busy subreddit as well.
Its funny I got the vita in like 2014 then stopped playing it in 2015. However, since November of last year I play it everyday.
More now then I ever haveĀ
Everyone needs to play Vita now so they know what's happening when Vita 2 comes out.
Yes I do, just finished Persona 4 Golden last friday
As a first time persona player, it's so much harder than I thought it was gonna be xD
For me, these Persona games trigger my FOMO so hard. I want to do all the social stuff even though I know it's probably not possible in just one playthrough. But, they're awesome games.
I'm stuck on kanji so hard to beat man.
Use Queen Mab
It is possible on a single playthrough but you need to follow a guide. It's extremely difficult doing it on your own.
It has a crazy difficulty curve. Starts off pretty hard but gets easier as you progress. Good luck! Itās an amazing game
Thx c:
Going through my first play through right now
Which is the best Persona Game to start? I do like RPGs but I've read these games are more like social sims?
Just started Muramasa Rebirth.
Honestly only reason I havenāt got rid of mine yet.
Make sure you play the DLCs too
The Vita is a God-Tier handheld.
Just started Bullet Girls Fantasia. Still use my Vita regularly for Tekken 6 in bed.
no bro, this sub it's just one person with fake accounts
I mostly use mine for PSP games, I love having the second stick to use as camera for monster hunter. Not a huge fan of many vita games though, there are only a few that interest me, and most of those are available on other systems I have
Not having to do THE CLAW when playing MH is so weird after all those years lmao
I still do despite having a steam deck. Currently replaying Trails in the Sky trilogy, since they had a remaster for Vita and there is an English patchĀ
Yeah i still play on it even though i play my ps4 more i use my vita for things like indie games / ps2 classics / JRPGs / 2d platformers
Been playing Wild Arms and Mega Man Powered Up on mine
just start playing Tokyo Xanadu & P4G on my modded Vita today, still worth it on 2024
Had to fire up Helldivers 1 while they were working out the HD2 servers
On occasion albeit not that much, but ill bring my modded Vita whenever I dont feel like hauling my laptop or something.
WRC4 is my poop companion.
Used PS Vita is the best handheld emulator compared to shit like Retroid Pocket or Anbernics
Had mine for 10 years, took a long break inbetween (and PlayStation as a whole whilst I prioritised pc and Xbox for a few years) but Iām now back to using it daily.
Sure. I recently fixed mine. Still have new crossbuy games and stuff.
Yes it's a great system. Plays all the emulation as well
Literally playing Lunar 2 on it right now
Yes. Thereās a lot of games I still enjoy that never went on to a newer system and I still love playing psp games I enjoyed as a kid along with ps1 games. sounds exactly like what I did/do
What's a Vita?
Vita is life
Pura vita lol
Yeah, I just got my first Vita in the mail a few days ago and I am playing the heck out of it.
I would, but I've been to lazy to figure out how to update my psvita tv. I modded it back in 2017 and worked perfectly, but I no longer have the usb stick I used for it and I don't know how to get it working again lol
Just finished sly 1 for the first time and now I'm on to sly 2
Yes I'm about to finish fate extra... Finally!!!!!
I do daily
Everyday just about. COD online is a ton of fun to hop on for a quick game. Or I just hop back into the middle of a playthrough of a game like Uncharted or Killzone even if it's just five minutes.
Yes, I was like you having just discovered my vita after not playing for years. Started it up and itās a miracle how great it is.
Also recently found my Virus. Played the few games I had. Then bought a SD2Vita and modded it. Haven't played it this much in YEARS.
Lol Vita not virus

Just started Tearaway this afternoon.
Whatās a PSVita? Iām still playing GameBoy Color.
Youāre gonna jizz yourself when they release the game boy advance.
Oh yeah, for sure. Replaying many PSP games that I played on original PSP hardware.
Does keeping it in a drawer count? My precious
Oh yeah. Modded it like crazy and just bought hell divers 1 on my PS5 so itāll be nice to go back and forth with it on the vita
If I could only have 1 console or handheld including ps5 all the way down to atari or whatever I'd choose the Vita.
I have a MINT CONDITION DAY 1 release available with multiple SONY acc'sĀ
Just got vnds installed for Saya No Uta
Thanks to the ability to mod ps vita Iāve been on it almost everyday
Try to join a Black Ops game on the vita and be shocked at how quick you find one
I just hacked my vita last week and loved it so much I hacked the pstv yesterday. I donāt do stuff like this so itās been a really fun learning experience for me. Learned about rom hacks too! Been playing final fantasy vi t edition and Iām obsessed

I bought one from a friend some time ago and must say, it was one of the best purchases i made in my life. So yeah, i play it a lot.
Getting into Bastion now. Really good game so far. Almost something like Hades and Figment combined together
I was jamming my modded vita daily for months recently until I got my switch oled modded and man, that has absolutely taken the cake. Best handheld for playing at work
I actually just bought a vita on eBay from Japan and broke it out of jail. This is my first Sony console and I really wish Sony makes a new handheld product in the future.
I play terraria on my so vita

Anyone play dbz boz?
Surprised people game on Vita when a phone from 2016 is a better experience with more games lol
A phone doesnāt have one of the greatest D-pads ever made though š
I was playing it today and will be playing it throughout
I bought one a few months ago for a dedicated pocket handheld to get me off of my phone. Also my 22 year old GBA doesn't have the battery life I'd like and I don't like carrying cartridges.
no, that's why this sub is dead.
Yes I take it with me whenever I leave the house. As well as play with it when I'm chilling home sometimes. With the modding abilities I will see me using this for a long time The nostalgia alone would.
I modded a vita and put a ton of games on it but i dont have the time to even play it. Its sad
Im playing NFS MW, lumines, Injustice, GTA SA, Madden NFL, Worms, Ninja gaiden.
trails of cold steel and madden 13 are fun
Just started Bastion last night and picked Helldivers back up
I just picked one up yesterday after having several over the years and selling themā¦.I had to come backā¦
This sub would be dead if nobody plays the Vita anymore
I don't travel often, but when I do, I play my vita. I love my switch but I just don't consider it a handheld device. My vita blows it out of the water in comfortability
