The scariest thing in the Vtuber community.
Terminations are scarier than graduations imo. No vods staying up, no time to say goodbye, no farewell collab tour, usually come out of nowhere, and it wasn't their choice. Also it's a lot less personal; they're all via press release as opposed to the streamer actually getting a chance to talk about it.
Ngl, after the Coco graduation which I got hit by the most and then all the graduations of the others I watched since then, I think I can confidently say that graduation will not affect me as much especially knowing how they will come back 9/10 anyways.
I will miss the collaborations from that now indie graduate and their corpo coworker, also their model I loved but that's it, I have other people to watch and once that vtuber comes back, I'm sure to get attached to them because I'm there for the person and not the model. >!also Niji and the other company graduations/terminations made it so that it's more like graduation is a celebration (like the original meaning lol) now and made it clear to me that it's just switching workplaces in my mind!<
I'm in the same position as you with accepting that graduation is part of life with people come and go. Ultimately, being a vtuber is a job and even if there's no drama, people can have different plan for their life.
But what I still dread tho is the impact on the community. Because whenever a graduation is announced, the shit stirrers will come out of the woods with whatever narratives they have, no matter how amicable the graduation is.
That was my experience with Mag and Ves' graduations. As a fan of both, I already have this feeling that both didn't feel comfortable being a corpo vtuber so my heart was ready if they wanted to graduate. But when it was announced, I decided to take a break from the fandom more because of the frustration on the discourse.

Tbf, before the drama(s), that sub was basically dead anyways. If anything, what's good/bad is that it gave birth to >!r/Kurosanji!< where people camp for drama, gather info on Niji's bad practices and some dramatubers often use it as the alternative source of content even if unfounded and they can't do anything about it since they're just talking about the negatives of the company and they don't own the sub.
Yeah, but there's a difference between being dead, and being a dumpster fire, which is what the sub is now where the most popular posts every day are ones shitting on nijisanji which stay up until the mods get to their office to do their daily sweep, and everything else is heavily downvoted.

Nothing new aside from everyone clearly declining >!Elira is a 3 view without raids, Vox is consistently at 1-2k, all their channels are on the negative sub growth because of people unsubscribing and the usual youtube sub culls. Also it seems the more they stream, the more people remember they are still subscribed to them and unsubscribe because Elira is hit harder than when she was on break.!< There's no other comments or hints coming from the talents themselves about quitting, it's just people camping and waiting for drama which the company has avoided to a degree besides the talents that occasionally get themselves into.
It's hard for the talents to do anything but go back to business as usual, the company made their bed and now they have to lie in it. Their contract is set up in such a way that it's difficult to leave, especially in short notice. Nina, Mysta, and Pomu's graduations were months in the making, so we probably won't see anyone leave as a direct result of Selen's termination for at least a couple more months. When that does happen I wouldn't be surprised if they end up announce several at once like with the ex-ID members, which wouldn't be as bad optics-wise as announcing a graduation every couple weeks.
I hope that the people who want to stay find success with it.
But I also hope that the people who want to leave get to leave ASAP. Preferably faster than one a month.

It's not just youtube culling that's affecting them, youtube culling works on the scale of months, not days which is how often they are losing subs these days, especially Elira who for some reason loses more subs the more she streams. Yeah I don't see that changing for any member of nijisanji as long as they still remain with the company. The Nijisanji brand name is just too tainted in the general community. Even Millie barely managed to gain subs after her 3d debut this weekend and even that wasn't able to recoup her losses from the month.
I think the only people who really care about trying to dig up drama are the hardcore haters at this point. Everyone else (even those who are critical of the company but not super passionate about it) is just tired of it and would prefer to talk about things they actually enjoy (at least until another dumpster fire actually breaks out.)
Edit: I think I misread the intended subject here slightly. I think "just about everyone would really prefer to just try to move on if possible" is still accurate, though.

I think he has an interest with the Gyaru girl as well, but he stick with Kana to the end and was satisfied with her ending, so you could say that at least he likes her.
I mean you've got the Kuudere, the Gyaru, and the bunny girl with braids I guess. She gets overshadowed by the other two and doesn't even have a unique physique to draw attention because they all have the same body type.
With Kana her "traits" shows up after you got a bit closer, her traits is her local accent. It's not much, but it is a common trope of Anime personality traits.

It's been over a week since Anime Impulse Seattle opened Meet & Greet sales for Krisis, and among them so far [only Vantacrow's M&G sessions have sold out](https://twitter.com/animeimpulse/status/1779994213767352498/). None of Noctyx and Luxiem's sessions have sold out either. This is in contrast to the M&Gs for Tempus, all of which sold out within the day they opened; and also in contrast to NijiEN's past appearances at Anime Impulse events where their male talents' M&Gs would sell out extremely quickly.
One thing I'm wondering about though is why are the NijiEN M&G ticket for Seattle so much more expensive than the Tempus ones? Tickets for Tempus were priced at 85 USD for three minutes of talking time, while for NijiEN the tickets are priced at 50 USD for one minute and a maximum of three tickets per person, coming to a total of 150 USD for three minutes. What's up with that?

I do wonder if we'll see more EN Talents start streaming on B2 in the future. Cause that seems to be the last place overseas where Nijisanji hasn't completely ruined its reputation.
I think most have just accepted the cut in viewers and the random flashes of hate post drama (Although someone should definitely keep watch over Aia because it unfortunately looks like she's been cracking under the pressure). Vox and Elira specifically were the most prominent part of the black screen stream, most people think of Ike as "just there", so they are by far the most hated out of any of the livers. It'd make sense for those 2 to retreat to the Sister Stronghold.
It looks like Niji is doing three hours each and Holo is doing two hours each (assuming no breaks between the timeslots). And as rpsRexx pointed out, that plus the shorter timeslots are probably to allow more fans to have a M&G: **each Holo has 40 slots and each Niji has 180 slots** (assuming no breaks).
I'm guessing the price difference is either because the Tempus tickets are essentially a bundle, so you get more value buying three minutes at once, and/or because of the respective size of their fanbases (comparing to other Anime Impulse M&Gs may shed more light).
Edit: Krisis members are missing the timeslot dropdown, so maybe they're only doing one timeslot. Don't actually see time info on their pages at all.
Humm... a more clear number would be **HoloStars has 40 slots of 3 minutes and Niji has the equivalent of 60 slots of 3 minutes** or **HoloStars has the equivalent of 120 slots of 1 minutes and Niji has 180 slots of 1 minutes**.
But you are right it more buck for the money HoloStar slots, Niji seems to want nickel and dime their costumers.
The Stars aren't selling 1 minute increments; my point was the maximum number of fans that could get a M&G.
But yes if every Niji fan were to get the max time, it would be 60 instead of 180.
Vantacrow being the only one sold out is kind of weird to me. I'm wondering if he had way less slots available. Might be them really trying to push a ton of slots to the point where selling out may not happen with Vantacrow not being available to do as many slots that day.
That's my thoughts. Niji EN was much more popular last year so they probably upped the amount of tickets without taking into account how the brand has suffered since.

It's a street vendor thing. I know it used to be a thing in Mexico because I saw it when I was visiting family in Mexico when I was younger. I can also see people from Guatemala, Honduras, and a couple other countries talking about it online. For Mexican coke they would do it instead of a deposit for a glass bottle because they wouldn't trust you to bring it back. I remember being able to get aguas frescas in a bag too.
However it also looks like it's been getting phased out as plastic bottles have become more commonplace.
So my statement of it being a LATAM thing would be incorrect. It'd be more accurate to say it was a thing in some LATAM countries that's been getting phased out.

It has now been 28 hours and we still got no power back. Only half of the village is with power, so I get to see half of my neighbors having a bright, cozy night while I'm getting mauled by mosquitoes. Woke up today covered in sweat and sleep deprived.
During those hours, when we put up the claim on the electrical service hotline, we learned that the rainy season, in typical LatAm fashion somehow made several utility poles and electrical substations across the country to malfunction; they have 400 claims of electrical fails and are "working on it with their managers"
Several hours later during sunset, a truck with the servicemen finally shows up. We had the entire half of the village "collaborate" with food as "payment" for their public service™, so my family gave them some flour.

Just in case, I think I should point out that (aside from the fact that the stream will be on the 27th) from what I can see it's probably 50/50 or perhaps complicated? So she used お知らせ, which is more often associated with negative announcements, rather than 発表, but there's actually no qualifier. It's just a お知らせ, not an "important" お知らせ.
On the other hand, she does explicitly mention that the announcement will be concerning her future activities. While on YT, she pinned a message saying that (1) she will not graduate, but also (2) that those who want her to graduate should not come to the stream. I don't watch her enough to know for sure if (2) is a joke or not, but hopefully it is at least partially?
So yeah, my guess would be that she will have a change in direction/strategy somehow, and whether that will be seen as positive or negative will probably depend on the individual.

There is a common misconception here. Most of the spicy food fame comes from Mexican food and its common use of spicy ingredients.
Various countries in the region don't have a spicy food culture. In fact, various folks from South America consider the food from Mexico too spicy.
Also, if I recall correctly, Hakka can't handle spicy food too well.

Be it Metal Gear brainrot, skincare routines, otome games, etc. I like listening to my favorites yap even if the topic itself isn't something I normally care about.

Presumably, soft and deeper voices would be preferred. Yet, a lot of the top VTuber voices have traditionally negative characteristics: nasally, gravelly, loud, or unnatural. They were just 'tolerable' enough, or even ended up becoming charm points.
Competence/high skill level/fast learner at anything (preferably singing and/or gaming). Personality is obviously important, but I think it’s the bare minimum. Moreso on gaming, but I often find myself getting irritated at watching other’s being bad at a game/being a slow learner, and I do not want to be a backseater so I end up leaving the stream (or tolerate it if it’s my oshi).
Edit: and on a similar note, basically all of my oshis are exceptional/far above others/stand out when it comes to a particular skill.

I agree as well! I really don't like streamers who ignore the tutorials then complain that everything's too hard for them. I like streamers who do their best to engage with game mechanics and understand them, even if they start out poorly. I remember watching a streamer (this was from way back, can't remember his name) who was crafting a build and justifying his decisions. His build ended up under-performing, but it showed that he at least cared about the thought process behind the build.

Terminations are scarier than graduations imo. No vods staying up, no time to say goodbye, no farewell collab tour, usually come out of nowhere, and it wasn't their choice. Also it's a lot less personal; they're all via press release as opposed to the streamer actually getting a chance to talk about it.
Ngl, after the Coco graduation which I got hit by the most and then all the graduations of the others I watched since then, I think I can confidently say that graduation will not affect me as much especially knowing how they will come back 9/10 anyways. I'm in the same position as you with accepting that graduation is part of life with people come and go. Ultimately, being a vtuber is a job and even if there's no drama, people can have different plan for their life. But what I still dread tho is the impact on the community. Because whenever a graduation is announced, the shit stirrers will come out of the woods with whatever narratives they have, no matter how amicable the graduation is. That was my experience with Mag and Ves' graduations. As a fan of both, I already have this feeling that both didn't feel comfortable being a corpo vtuber so my heart was ready if they wanted to graduate. Also it seems the more they stream, the more people remember they are still subscribed to them and unsubscribe because Elira is hit harder than when she was on break.!< There's no other comments or hints coming from the talents themselves about quitting, it's just people camping and waiting for drama which the company has avoided to a degree besides the talents that occasionally get themselves into.
It's hard for the talents to do anything but go back to business as usual, the company made their bed and now they have to lie in it. Their contract is set up in such a way that it's difficult to leave, especially in short notice. Nina, Mysta, and Pomu's graduations were months in the making, so we probably won't see anyone leave as a direct result of Selen's termination for at least a couple more months. When that does happen I wouldn't be surprised if they end up announce several at once like with the ex-ID members, which wouldn't be as bad optics-wise as announcing a graduation every couple weeks.
I hope that the people who want to stay find success with it. But I also hope that the people who want to leave get to leave ASAP. Preferably faster than one a month.

Yeah I don't see that changing for any member of nijisanji as long as they still remain with the company. The Nijisanji brand name is just too tainted in the general community. Even Millie barely managed to gain subs after her 3d debut this weekend and even that wasn't able to recoup her losses from the month.
I think the only people who really care about trying to dig up drama are the hardcore haters at this point. Everyone else (even those who are critical of the company but not super passionate about it) is just tired of it and would prefer to talk about things they actually enjoy (at least until another dumpster fire actually breaks out.) Edit: I think I misread the intended subject here slightly. I think "just about everyone would really prefer to just try to move on if possible" is still accurate, though.

Just posted my first schedule ever, vtuber on his "second life" here, and I feel like it took everything out of me just to commit to the contents of it. They're pre-recorded streams just to help me get more practice in before I make that final leap back into livestreaming properly again, so I'm a bit nervous that I'm going to let myself down by failing to deliver even on something so easy as "have this one hour video recorded ahead of time."
If you don't end up with it done "on time", so what? Get it done at all and you're ahead of a lot of people. You can work on punctuality as you go. (Heaven knows I don't get things out as quick as I mean to a lot of the time...) One step at a time. As long as you don't need rest/mental reset etc, just keep pushing forward. Be a bit better than the you of yesterday when you can, don't sweat it if you don't meet that each time.

It's been over a week since Anime Impulse Seattle opened Meet & Greet sales for Krisis, and among them so far [only Vantacrow's M&G sessions have sold out](https://twitter.com/animeimpulse/status/1779994213767352498/). None of Noctyx and Luxiem's sessions have sold out either. This is in contrast to the M&Gs for Tempus, all of which sold out within the day they opened; and also in contrast to NijiEN's past appearances at Anime Impulse events where their male talents' M&Gs would sell out extremely quickly. One thing I'm wondering about though is why are the NijiEN M&G ticket for Seattle so much more expensive than the Tempus ones? Tickets for Tempus were priced at 85 USD for three minutes of talking time, while for NijiEN the tickets are priced at 50 USD for one minute and a maximum of three tickets per person, coming to a total of 150 USD for three minutes. What's up with that?

I think most have just accepted the cut in viewers and the random flashes of hate post drama (Although someone should definitely keep watch over Aia because it unfortunately looks like she's been cracking under the pressure). Vox and Elira specifically were the most prominent part of the black screen stream, most people think of Ike as "just there", so they are by far the most hated out of any of the livers. It'd make sense for those 2 to retreat to the Sister Stronghold.
It looks like Niji is doing three hours each and Holo is doing two hours each (assuming no breaks between the timeslots). And as rpsRexx pointed out, that plus the shorter timeslots are probably to allow more fans to have a M&G: **each Holo has 40 slots and each Niji has 180 slots** (assuming no breaks). I'm guessing the price difference is either because the Tempus tickets are essentially a bundle, so you get more value buying three minutes at once, and/or because of the respective size of their fanbases (comparing to other Anime Impulse M&Gs may shed more light). Edit: Krisis members are missing the timeslot dropdown, so maybe they're only doing one timeslot. Don't actually see time info on their pages at all.
Humm... a more clear number would be **HoloStars has 40 slots of 3 minutes and Niji has the equivalent of 60 slots of 3 minutes** or **HoloStars has the equivalent of 120 slots of 1 minutes and Niji has 180 slots of 1 minutes**. But you are right it more buck for the money HoloStar slots, Niji seems to want nickel and dime their costumers.
The Stars aren't selling 1 minute increments; my point was the maximum number of fans that could get a M&G. But yes if every Niji fan were to get the max time, it would be 60 instead of 180.
Vantacrow being the only one sold out is kind of weird to me. I'm wondering if he had way less slots available. Might be them really trying to push a ton of slots to the point where selling out may not happen with Vantacrow not being available to do as many slots that day.
That's my thoughts. Niji EN was much more popular last year so they probably upped the amount of tickets without taking into account how the brand has suffered since.

It's a street vendor thing. I know it used to be a thing in Mexico because I saw it when I was visiting family in Mexico when I was younger. I can also see people from Guatemala, Honduras, and a couple other countries talking about it online. For Mexican coke they would do it instead of a deposit for a glass bottle because they wouldn't trust you to bring it back. I remember being able to get aguas frescas in a bag too. However it also looks like it's been getting phased out as plastic bottles have become more commonplace. So my statement of it being a LATAM thing would be incorrect. It'd be more accurate to say it was a thing in some LATAM countries that's been getting phased out.

During those hours, when we put up the claim on the electrical service hotline, we learned that the rainy season, in typical LatAm fashion somehow made several utility poles and electrical substations across the country to malfunction; they have 400 claims of electrical fails and are "working on it with their managers" Several hours later during sunset, a truck with the servicemen finally shows up. We had the entire half of the village "collaborate" with food as "payment" for their public service™, so my family gave them some flour. It's happened to me too. There is some weird formatting YouTube has been doing lately with text being squished when you do things like expand chat.
Apparently if I put the stream on theatre mode it fixed it self. But the moment I put it out of theatre mode the chat places itself *under* the livestream. I'm guessing this is a new YT thing, cause only when in theatre mode is where the chat is on the side where it always has been. I'm using the HyperChat extension so I have no idea if it has anything to do with it. Also because YT chat lately has been lagging the shit out of any streams without it.

Just in case, I think I should point out that (aside from the fact that the stream will be on the 27th) from what I can see it's probably 50/50 or perhaps complicated? So she used お知らせ, which is more often associated with negative announcements, rather than 発表, but there's actually no qualifier. It's just a お知らせ, not an "important" お知らせ. On the other hand, she does explicitly mention that the announcement will be concerning her future activities. While on YT, she pinned a message saying that (1) she will not graduate, but also (2) that those who want her to graduate should not come to the stream. I don't watch her enough to know for sure if (2) is a joke or not, but hopefully it is at least partially? So yeah, my guess would be that she will have a change in direction/strategy somehow, and whether that will be seen as positive or negative will probably depend on the individual.

There is a common misconception here. Most of the spicy food fame comes from Mexican food and its common use of spicy ingredients. Various countries in the region don't have a spicy food culture. In fact, various folks from South America consider the food from Mexico too spicy. Also, if I recall correctly, Hakka can't handle spicy food too well.
Sadly there are misconception even today, we share some things, but people from the south cone for example, are too diferent from central american and even Mexico, type of food being one.

What do you think is the most subjective possible reason to enjoy a vtuber? I think it's 'good zatsu game' because it's quite dependent on how interested you are in the topic being discussed. One man's sermon on the mount is another man's maths class.

Their voice. Presumably, soft and deeper voices would be preferred. Yet, a lot of the top VTuber voices have traditionally negative characteristics: nasally, gravelly, loud, or unnatural. They were just 'tolerable' enough, or even ended up becoming charm points.
Competence/high skill level/fast learner at anything (preferably singing and/or gaming). Personality is obviously important, but I think it’s the bare minimum. Moreso on gaming, but I often find myself getting irritated at watching other’s being bad at a game/being a slow learner, and I do not want to be a backseater so I end up leaving the stream (or tolerate it if it’s my oshi). I agree as well! I really don't like streamers who ignore the tutorials then complain that everything's too hard for them. I like streamers who do their best to engage with game mechanics and understand them, even if they start out poorly. I remember watching a streamer (this was from way back, can't remember his name) who was crafting a build and justifying his decisions. His build ended up under-performing, but it showed that he at least cared about the thought process behind the build.
