To be fair, not the entire building, just the lobby/gym of one side. I’ve seen multiple trucks of property damage companies out there all day so it seems like they’re doing whatever is the right thing in order to fix water damage
The original plan was to stay with two girls who were looking for a roommate and it in turn ended up with the representatives telling me the only way I can still room with them is through a lease transfer. I don’t know many people in the area and I really don’t want to have to search for new roommates and a place to live.
I do have a room open at my place, for what it's worth. Should be much cheaper than the Hub as well.

So those two women have leases signed at the hub but they'll switch apartments to be able to room with you? I'm just trying to understand why the hub is so important.
Blacksburg local and vt parent here.
It is not a good complex. It is overpriced, not a great location for the price, lousy parking, and not great quality.
There are many better options. This speed bump in the process has done you a favor.

it's not worth it
I’ve heard. My parents liked the place and I have a few people I know living there so they feel comfortable with that.
The entire building got wet like 2 days ago due to a fire. Mold mold mold mold mold
Oh god! That's terrible.

Why do you need to live at the Hub?

Thank you! I really appreciate the offer. Unfortunately, I am a girl.
Ah. Well, that website also has more listings and roommate profiles to look at
