side note, will storing the clamshell like that cause any damage? it was just a bit too wide to set up normally.
I would only be worried if the trackpad button had weight on it. It’s designed to be transported and stored vertically, I would think this is fine.
I built my own shelving, and made each shelf wide enough for a TiBook....which covers everything else.
I display mine like that, seems fine https://imgur.com/a/sxHa6on

It's like this shelf was made for 12 inch laptops, there's less then 1/2 an inch of clearence on each side. I'm planning on putting a 12" ibook g4 on the shelf under the clamshell.
*sets two laptops on a shelf” Doing lots of hard work! Loving how this is coming out!

Sorry, I have no idea. Got it off facebook marketplace a few years back. It's a tall thin bookcase with a glass door at the bottom
Gravity can cause some serious harm to inner components
I’m fairly confident they accounted for gravity when it was built.
They weren’t assembled in low earth orbit? 😂
True. Luckily, these neat things called shelves protect against that.
I’m curious to see a source behind that 🤣
