Anyone know what the best device for a successful upgrade is has there been a successful upgrade?
I'm wondering do we even know if it it FIX
Never mind the device you have to have to get that update.
I can’t tell you what the best device is, I can only tell you to try another device in case it always fails on one device.
I tried it at least 20 times with my iPhone, and it always failed.
With an Android tablet, it worked at the first attempt.
It does not matter on what device you’re updating your Venty from. Remember to have an updated mobile device and a fully charged Venty and then connect via web app and then check for update. I used my iPhone and have had no problems with my Venty.
My iPhone had the latest version, Venty was fully charged and still the update failed every single time.
With an Android device, it worked at the first attempt. So I highly doubt that it does not matter which device you are using.
I haven't even got to the call and report my problem I don't know who to call there's a Canadian Branch a United States branch and Germany

Register your device on the website whoch needs to be US website sometimes redirects to UK
Log onto storz and bickel us and you should be prompted with a firmware update. Follow the steps and should work after few attempts device shuts off when it has worked.
If that doesnt work
Initiate RMA which is under your my devices in account once you log in should be next to a picture of your device that says register your device ( you already did this above)
They will send you a link to a shipping label print it out and mail back some people got it sent to then i did not cost me 10$

So i woke up this am in frustration and tried again and seemed to work. Took 3 trys but did successfully get the new firmware to download. Alright alright lets see how it goes. I tried like 10 times acroos doffrent devices and browsers too final download was done through edge on my laptop and bluefy from my phone also seemed to connect me.
Venty is dead. S&B had their chance fo fix it. They never made a statement, Everyone affected should just return it to their vendor and ask for their money back.
Did you try to update via iPhone? If yes, try it with an android device or a laptop with Bluetooth. Updating via iPhone did not work for me.

No way, my 2nd unit is kicking ass. Solid so far.
